C8 Alessia's Insanity

"Oh my god, Liam?! What's happened to you?!" Alessia squealed in fright when Liam suddenly appeared before her and fell into her arms.

Alessia struggled to balance herself. The weight of Liam's body was overwhelming. She nearly fell over, but Alessia did her best to keep him moving. She picked Liam up and carefully laid him down on the sofa. Bloodstain is everywhere.

Liam fell down exhausted, his coat soaked and bloodied. The blood on the back of his head and the nape of his neck were still flooding.

Alessia's fingers rumbled, she was traumatized by the sight of blood loss. "You're bleeding." she stammered in a quivering voice. "Why is this so? Did someone attack you? What am I supposed to do? What?! How's this?!"

Liam's face was full of cold sweat mixed with thick blood; he smiled even though he was whimpering. "I'm fine."

Alessia sobbed. This reminds her of Kayla. "Don't die. Please, don't die. What should I do now?"

Liam was astounded to see Alessia’s bright eyes swam in tears, she was truly frightened; crying for him and begging him not to leave. But there was no time to lament about it. Liam's hands, full of gore, grasped Alessia's fingers firmly. "You gotta help me, baby."

Alessia was babbling and confused. Her pretty face was deathly pale, her body rumbling in fright. "What should I do? How? I'll call for medical help! I'll call an ambulance! Please, hold on, Liam!"

"No!" Liam prevents Alessia from leaving. He growled by the pressure of the burning intense soreness in his head. "It's taking a long time. It's just me and you. There's no need to call anyone else or Sir Windsor. You must care for and treat my wound, Sia. Do as I say."

"I can't!" Alessia refused. She wiped her tears with the back of her hand. "I'm not good at treating others! I'm not a physician!"

Liam gave a weak smile. "Not a problem. As long as you listen to everything I say carefully, you can do it, baby."

Liam's dim golden eyes examined Alessia intensely. He had always liked Alessia's brilliant, clear silver eye color. [Why was Liam so smitten with her?] Alessia is a special woman who is able to distract his entire world. His breathing was ragged, an onslaught of bullets crammed into Liam's chest.

"Why are you so sure?" asked Alessia; still shocked.

Liam suppressed his words with conviction. A lopsided smile adorned his full lips. "Because I trusted you."

This is the first time that others have depended their lives on Alessia. Alessia was shackled by hesitation, while Liam's bleeding couldn't wait any longer.

[How can I save Liam? I failed to save Kayla once. Where does she end up? In the cemetery. I hated myself so much for not being able to do everything right!]

"You got it, Ally. Go to my office. On the wall next to the glass there is a medical case there. Take them all. Come back as soon as possible."

Alessia took a deep, long breath. She tried to convince herself. "Hang on. I'll be right back."

Following Liam's instructions, Alessia half ran to his office. The luxurious door was unlocked, she hurriedly opened it and rushed in. Instead of marveling at the spacious and magnificent interior of Liam's workroom. Alessia knew well that the man was a perfectionist in every sense. His classy passion was reflected in the mansion.

Furniture colors are predominantly black, chrome or brown. The granite floors are luminous. A row of enormous crystal-clear windows covered by shimmering curtains.

"Oh my. Where is the hell medical equipment?" Alessia mumbled in exasperation. "Oh, there it is!"

Quickly grabbing the medical kit, Ally ran outside. She had a hard time carrying the suitcase-sized medical case. It was heavier than she expected. Her legs rushed through the long hallways of the mansion. She approached Liam, whose eyes were closed from being killed by the pain on the sofa. A flood of gore stained the leather sofa. Liam has taken off his coat and shirt. He's topless as he lays back. That muscular, sexy and stunning fit body — it's still the same as the first time Alessia fu*ck*ed him in Switzerland.

[Oh my! There's no time to think about it! It's your own fault, in every situation, why Liam always looks so hot!]

Alessia put the medical kit down on the table with all her might. Her forehead was sweating from the exertion. She opens the lid, the equipment is indeed complete, no wonder it feels heavy. From rows of saline bottles, injection kits, latex gloves, cotton wool, band-aids, gauze, plasters, glass vials of clear liquid, various tubes of pain pills, a small silver box — containing a portable surgical kit but Ally has no idea how to use it.

Alessia grumbled. "How can you have all this equipment? Now what?"

Liam's vision blurred. His shady eyes appeared gloomy. His voice lowered. "Prepare water, clean towels, saline, painkillers, those surgical instruments. You have to stitch up my wounds. Use the latex glove. Your hands need to be sterile while you're taking care of me."

Alessia shook her head, feeling hesitant. "Stitching? Oh, no, no. Impossible. I've never done it in my entire life. I can't do this, Liam!"

Ally couldn't even imagine. She couldn't pierce the needle and thread into human skin. Her heavenly face turned white without blood.

Liam gripped Ali's fingers tightly. When he was hurt so badly; Liam was still gentle and manly. "This was an emergency situation. You don't have time to think. Just do your best. My arm needs to be treated as well. Clean my back head using that towel. Dampen it first. Apply firm pressure at the source of the wound to stop the bleeding."

"You have to stay awake, Liam!" Ally shouted in panic. "Don't you dare close your eyes or I'll kill you!"

Liam chortled feebly. "I have many lives. Having physical injuries like this is nothing to me."

Following Liam's lead, Ally pressed firmly on the deep gash in Liam's nape that continued bloodied. She needed more clean towels, Alessia had to suppress her fear of blood.

Liam, meanwhile, was putting pressure on his arm where Jax had stabbed him with a shard.

Ally breathed a sigh of relief, but she still had a long way to go. Her gloves are slippery with hot blood. The back of her hand wiped the sweat from the forehead. She was thankful that the blood had stopped coming out.

"If the bleeding stops. You can put some saline directly into the wound. Do it slowly with a cotton swab, as it is painful." Liam added.

Liam wailed in soreness as Alessia patted his wound with saline liquid. She did so slowly and carefully. Ally almost stumbled backward in aghast.

Ally let out an uneasy scream. Liam's roar echoed out — making his body rumble with fear. "I'm sorry, sorry! Hurts, huh?"

Liam growled. His eyes were closed tightly. He grinned savoring the sensation of intense burning pain in the nape of his neck. "Just continue."

Alessia continued her treatment, flinching and accepting Liam's roar throughout. The sound of flesh being torn apart wet, Ally desperately held back the strange turmoil in her stomach.

"Stitch the wound up. You must clean the needle with alcohol before closing my skin."

"There's still some broken glass left, Liam!" Ally roared with rage.

"Unplug it."

"You sure?"

"Yes, if blood comes out again. Press firmly like before. You're doing well." Liam stammered, smiling wearily. "I was lucky. Meeting you. You know what? You are the greatest thing and gift that ever happened to me, Alessia Dawn."

"Ugh!"

Liam groaned deeply; he woke up from the dark memories that kept flashing almost every night haunting his sleep. Liam has always failed to overcome his inner wounds. He hadn't been able to shake off all the horrific memories of that night's bloodshed — destroying his life.

Eva and Camilla's screams that curled up like cobwebs in his headspace. It was like entangling his neck with a wire cable, and the metal splinters seemed to break through his temples.

The scorching morning sunlight sanded his eyes. Liam felt dizzy, with blurred vision. A buzzing sound increased in his left ear until it pierced into his head.

He got up from the bed, sitting on the edge for a while as he noticed Alessia peacefully sleeping on the sofa by the window. Her hands were still clutching a bloodied towel. Liam remembers last night's incident when Ally screamed in sobs and terror — finding him back at the mansion, bloodied.

[I didn't expect that she would cry over me in such a way. Oh, Ally. You're so adorable.]

Liam got up to stretch his muscles that felt so stiff. His hand was neatly wrapped in gauze. There was a lump of plaster on his nape. He smiled softly, "You said you couldn't. But look at this. You really did a great job, sweetheart."

She knelt before Alessia who was still asleep. She must have been exhausted; it was probably during Liam's rest; Ally was awake to take care of him. Liam gently stroked Alessia's blushing cheeks.

Then Alessia woke up, feeling the warm touch of someone's fingers sweeping her skin and hair carefully. "Liam? How is it? Is there anything still hurting? Are you okay? Need to go to the hospital?"

Ally snapped out of her sleep; she checked Liam's temperature with the back of her hand pressed against the man's forehead. "The temperature's dropped. Last night, you had a high fever. Your face was so crimson red. But thank goodness your fever has gone down."

Liam giggled. He held Alessia's fingers warmly. He kissed the backs of her hands. "Hey, slowly. You, see? I'm so much better now. It's all thanks to you."

Alessia's heavenly face was glum. Throughout the night, she was wracked with anxiety beyond belief. She was terrified that Liam would really die just like Kayla. She shakes her head. "It's not my blessing. You're mistaken. I haven't done anything for you."

"Who says?" asked Liam with a wry smile. "You did well. From now on, you'll be my private nurse or my future wife?"

"Huh?!" Alessia's eyebrows knitted in rage. "Where were you yesterday? You've been missing all day! Sir Windsor told me you went to the office, but what did I find? You came in so badly injured and bloodied! Don't tell me you—"

Suddenly, Ally's tongue was stuck. The look in her eyes was hollow. Since when did killing other people become a topic of conversation and small talk matter? Alessia was feeling out of her mind now.

"Did you kill someone again?" Alessia asked in a stammer and deathly voice. She couldn't even believe her own words. [I feel insane!]

Liam took a deep breath. "I went to the office yesterday. My team is having a crucial meeting. Coming back from the office, I have more prominent things to do."

Alessia snorted. "More crucial business? Who did you hunt last night? Tell me, are you really a contract killer?!"

"Don't believe in rumors." Liam lifted his shoulders. He smiled widely. "Think of it that way. I can't share the details yet for now. But what I'm doing now is worth it, Sweetheart. Anyway, the target I'm hunting — they deserve it. Death with worst way."
