C5 A piece of information

Seated at the exact position, patiently waiting for Jimin who knows how long he will take; I search my bag and bring out the item I have been carrying for a while with me.

'For how long will I keep this in my possession, how, when where will i see him to return his item' I muttered to myself as I examine the item on my hand , I fail to notice the person standing besides me.

"You always seem carried away"..Jimin jolted me back .

"Hey.. you are back..I said as fast as I could as i return the item quick in my bag.

"Why haven't you eaten". he said as he removed his Bag and place it by the corner of the table

"Wow!! never know you mind me eating without you" I replied him with a giggle.

"Never expect you to wait for me this long"he said as he sit facing me.

We sat on our chair as i help myself from his lunch box,the food taste nice " do you made this "I asked with food stuck in my mouth.he shook his head in disagreement as he picked on his fruits carefully.

"Have you heard about the event coming up?" he asked me.

"Event? how ? when" I unconsciously asked him.

"Damnit!! do you even listen to News at all, i thought you are on Social Media and you are also a Staff of the school; how come you don't know" he asked shocked at my question.

"What if I said, I'm minding my business or maybe I was busy to notice what is happening around me" i blurted out.

"Minding your business Bella". he said as he rise from his seat and advance towards me.

As I saw him turn to me, i looked down quickly avoiding his gaze as quick as possible.

" The school is participating in a dance competition Host by the state Government; am surprised you don't know about this Bella; you are an English teacher or should i said Literature teacher like you said. you should know this basic things about the school". he said before seating on the other end of the table facing me.

"You are right..I muttered; only heaven knows what i was thinking that i didn't know of this competition; and why is he acting like my "Almighty Becky.

I moved my seat backwards to catch some air cause the close we are is doing something to my brain... gosh!! do you have to be this close. Seeing the way he focus his crysallized eyes on me, I managed to find my voice " well..I guess I'm outdated" I said with a poker face just to ease tension pilling inside me " i will try and keep updated.

He looked at me and give out a smile.

'gosh!! can you stop smiling like that, your smile alone gives me chills and messed up my brain" I battle inside me.

"Is there anything you want to say " he ask as he return back to his former position.

"No.. i nodded.

"I see cause lunch time is over Bella and i need to prepare for my class" he said as he calmly pick his bag and turn facing me; "Do me a favour and keep the lunch box on my desk, see you then.

I sat and watched him till he exist the cafeteria, i give out a heavy sign as I clear and pack the lunch box.
