LOGAN

"Fuck!" I curse.

"Lia.." Millie whispers in a haunted tone.

Lia shakes her head and turns, walking away with quick wide steps. Millie pushes me away and starts to follow but I stop her with a hand on her wrist.

"Let go of me!"

"Millie,wait."

"Stop Logan!" She manages to pull her hand away. Her chest heaves at a quick pace and her cheeks are wet with tears. "This is all your fault!"

I frown.

"I told you to stay away but you didn't listen,you kept pushing and pushing! Now Lia..." Her words trail off.

"This was bound to happen sooner or later,you and I both know that this isn't entirely my fault,you wanted what happened as much as I did."

"Shut up!" She pushes at my chest as she breathes harshly. "This was a mistake,it wasn't supposed to happen." She thrusts her fingers in her hair.

"I have to fix this."

"Fix what? For fucks sake Millie,this is what you wanted a few minutes ago,it might not be how you wanted to do it,but it's done."

"You don't get it Logan. I was confused okay? I didn't know what I was thinking. I can't..." She shakes her head with tears glistening in her eyes. "I can't do this,please don't make this harder."

She spins around and leaves. My feet keep me rooted in place as her words ring in my ears. I clench my jaw and turn to the side, trying to calm myself but fail miserably.

"Fuck!" I punch the wall and the pain that slashes through my entire arm calms the storm down a notch.

What the fuck is wrong with me? I can't lose control. I can't fucking lose it,not now.

*Days Later*

I haven't seen Millie for two days straight,I have a feeling she's been doing her utmost best to ignore me. As for Lia,the girl has been giving me death glares whenever she sees me. Mia still acts normal around me,which only points out that she knows nothing. I wonder why Lia hasn't told her sister about me and Millie yet.

What happened between her and I wasn't a mistake,I don't get why I can't get her the hell out of my head.

"Fuck man," Jaime sighs. "I hope things don't turn left when Mia finds out."

"Yeah,I don't think you should hold on to that hope Jaime, because shit will definitely hit the fan,all of us know that for a fact," Will says point-blank.

"I don't know why the fuck she hasn't yet done it,that's the twin and I don't see why she would want to protect Millie," I add.

"Maybe it's the other way around,she's protecting her sister, doesn't want her "heart," to be broken," Jaime says.

"Whatever the fuck that reason is,I don't give a shit. All I know is that I don't regret what happened,and neither should Millie."

What we planned goes smoothly and according to plan b. Which is a good thing because I didn't have to get Mia here.

Finally confirmed,the rat who put the tag on Kill's head is Mikhail, but someone helped him. This string is longer than we thought,I have a strong hunch that it was Malik. All we need to do is to find proof that he was involved,we need to eliminate all the rats.

We walk out of the house and head straight to the Council.

We find Viking waiting for us at the house,so that we can go in together. Since he was the one who organized the meeting with the Vail.

"Well,time to get this done," He says and we go in.

The Three bothers,who hold the most power among the seven council members of the Vail are seated around a blood red table.

"Three months,you have two weeks to prove that Kill isn't a traitor, bring the evidence and his case will be suspended." The eldest of the three says.

"Once time is up,we won't give chances. His head will be hanging on the wall in line with the other traitors from the past." The youngest,who happens to be the most ruthless threatens.

"Three months it is," Viking agrees.

When we walk out of the Council,Kill lets out a frustrated sigh.

"We're all in this together,I'll resort to any fucking means just to get you out of this," Sin assures him.

"That's fucking right. We ride together,we die together." Viking adds.

The next day, I leave the hall and walk to the tree where Will and Jaime stand with three girls from Architecture. Mia comes over after seeing me.

Jaime whistles and tips his head in her direction. I push off from the tree trunk and throw away the cigarette, killing it with my foot. She reaches me and runs her hand up my chest, I grip her wrist and walk away from the group, pulling her with me.

When we are out of ear's reach,she smiles up at me.

"Okay,okay. What surprise do you have for me now?"

When she sees my expression,her smile fades and she asks.

"Is something wrong?"

"Fun over,princess."

"What do you mean?"

I look her straight in the eyes.

"Times up,you and I are done. Good review? You were a great ride,but now it's time to get back to reality."

She blinks rapidly.

"What are you saying? A ride?"

"Yeah, you can get on with your life princess," I run my knuckles over her cheek.

"Are you breaking up with me?" She asks with tears glistening in her eyes.

I tsk twice.

"There's no breakup if it wasn't a relationship."

"What?" She whispers in disbelief.

"I told you Mia,I'm not someone you fall in love with. You gave me what I wanted and I gave you want you needed, now times up."

"You can't be serious." She touches me but I slide her hand off my chest.

"I don't do jokes princess. Now,don't touch me. That access has now expired,take my advice and just move on."

Tears roll down her cheeks and her lips tremble.

"You can't do this to me,I gave you everything."

"They all did." I wipe a tear with my thumb. "Shh,don't cry. You should be greatfull, you had the privilege of getting what others have never gotten."

"You're a bastard."

"That I am."

Her hand lifts and she tries to slap me but I grab her wrist,I lean down then pull her body flush against mine. I wipe away any trace of gentleness on my face and her eyes widen when she realizes she just made a big mistake.

"Big mistake princess, nobody touches me. Now,I'm going to give you a last chance to run." I let go of her hand and she stumbles back with more tears rolling from her eyes.

"You'll regret this," she says then turns around, finding the group I just left watching the whole scene. She glares back at me and then leaves.

I cock my head and then look in the distance, catching the other twin watching me. She turns and runs after her sister who's figure has been long gone from my site.

It's been two days since I broke red-head's little heart. It's night time and the guys and I are seated,chilling in the sitting room.Others are on the sofas and the rest are sprawled out on the floor, smocking and playing cards. Suddenly, Steven aka Serpent abruptly sits up.

"What the fuck Steven." Jaime curses at being startled.

"No fucking way," Steven says while zooming whatever the heck is on his phone. "No fucking way." He repeats.

"You better stop saying that shit if it's not something we have to hear, because you're definitely grabbing our attention," Will says, without moving from his lying position on the sofa with a cap covering his entire face

Steven looks up and and his eyes meet mine.

"What?" I ask.

"You're not gonna like this," he says and Will quickly sits up with an irritated expression then snatches his phone to check what is on it.

Whatever he sees has him throwing his legs off the sofa and zooming the screen.

"Logan," he says and all of us stand at once, going to his side.

It's a picture of Millie on campus,but she's not alone.

"What the fuck? Is that..." Jaime's words trail off.

"I'm going to fucking kill him," I nearly growl the words out.

"Malik." Viking says the name we've all been avoiding.
