The damage of a Retribution skill gradually increased as the Hero's level increased. A Hero's level ranged from 1 to 18, which meant that the Punishment skill's level ranged from 1 to 18 as well.

A maximum level penalty of 18 would deal 1000 damage to a wild monster. As for a level 1 penalty, the base damage was 390. Every time it levelled up, the damage would increase by more than 33 points
