C9 Unspoken troubles

Kiara emerged from the washroom after spending an extended period inside.

Her demeanor indicated that something was amiss, but she did not share her concerns with Erica unless pressed.

Erica sensed that Kiara was uneasy and probed further, asking if she was alright.

Kiara replied with a nod and a smile, saying that she was tired and bidding Erica goodnight.

She immediately closed her eyes and appeared to drift off to sleep.

Erica was left with the sense that something was troubling Kiara, but without further communication from her friend, she could do nothing but wonder.

Erica drifted off to bed leaving kiara alone.

Kiara on the other side sat on the bed thinking but found no answers to her questions.

she tried catching some sleep but she couldn't. she turned and saw Erica fast asleep beside her then smiled.

she knows Erica would be disturbed about her and she doesn't want her to know what's going on with her for now.

she will try and solve things as time goes on so that they can go back to their normal lives.

As she kept thinking of what to do, the bartender's smile suddenly popped up on her face and she didn't know where it came from.

she quickly sat on the bed and remembered that moment she was leaning on him when she was crying a few hours ago.

"Why do I seem to be having thoughts of him all of a sudden"

she asked herself and started spacing out. she could remember the day she thought that guy was cute and nice and she tried as much as she could to ignore those thoughts and then now she has started thinking about him and she doesn't understand what's going on with herself.

"No... he's my enemy and there's no way I will think about such a person no!... Kiara calm down"

she said to herself and took in a deep breath and laid back on the mattress again "before I do anything else, I need to teach that guy a lesson" she said again then finally, she drifted off to sleep.

Both Kiara and Erica were still fast asleep though it was already morning and that day was also a Sunday which both of them usually use to have time for themselves.

A knock came on the door which woke both of them up from bed and Kiara got pissed off. "Can't you let me have some good sleep?"

she barked at the person behind her door then sprang up to her feet to get whoever it was.

She opened the door slowly and saw her maid standing in front of her "Sorry for disturbing you" she apologizes "it's okay.

Do you need anything?" Kiara asked her and she nodded "There's someone here to see you" she informed her and saw the reaction on Kiara's face...

"Is it my mom?" she asked her "no... I don't know him .when I asked him who he was, he refused to tell me and he only said he wants to see you" she replied and waits for Kiara's reply.

"Alright tell him to wait for me. let me refreshen up and come downstairs and let my breakfast be ready as soon as I get there" Kiara said and went back inside her room.

she wondered who it was and why he came to look for her so early and also disturbed her sleep.

"Is there any problem?" Erica asked her when she came out of the washroom already refreshed "Not really. it just someone who is looking for me and I wonder why this morning"

she answered and entered the washroom also. Erica quickly dressed up and went out of the room.

As she came downstairs, she saw someone sitting in the living room who looks familiar to her.

She walked to the living room and to her surprise, the guy from last night was the one in their house.

she couldn't stop laughing to herself cause she wonder how Kiara gonna react as soon as she sees him.

"Good morning pretty" the bar attendant greeted Erica as soon as he saw her "You can call me Eric," she said and smiled "Nice to see you again" she added and sat down "it a pleasure.

I hope I didn't disturb you guys from your sleep though" he/she asked looking sorry about it "oh not at all.

Kiara and I mostly spend our time like this, especially on Sundays" she answered "don't you go to church" he asked "we do but not every day"

she informed him "what brought you here though,h," she asked out of her curiousness "oh nothing really. I was just in the neighborhood so I thought I should check up on you guys,s especially your friend" he spilled out, and then smiled.

Erica was surprised by what she just heard and also happy at the same time.

Apart from her, she has finally seen someone who cares about Kiara also.

Though these two love trolling at each other and kinda hate each other also, she wouldn't be surprised if they end up falling for each other also.

"that's nice of you" Erica finally said and smiled back at him.

"Is there a reason Why you want to see her?" she asked again "ummm.. last night when I saw her, she looked miserable and seems to be having hard times so I thought I should just check on her yeah" he answered with his face turning red and Erica saw it.

she screamed within herself because that kind of reaction shows something else other than just being enemies

"I can't see your friend anywhere... hope she's fine" he asked looking around "oh she's fine. she's having her bath she will soon join us"

she replied and smiled. Erica suddenly turned and saw Kiara coming downstairs then smiled cause she can't wait to see the expression on both faces "oh there she is" Erica exclaimed....
