C3 COMPETITOR.

As I returned to my office with Peter trailing closely behind, I stood in front of the large floor to ceiling windows looking down at the bustling city life as crowds of people could be seen busy in their own world of work.

Standing in place with my back still facing him I asked, “Have you found out anything about our competitors yet? are they operating honestly or are they involved in underhanded deals?"

Sighing heavily he replied somewhat reluctant yet impressed, "no, all their clients and projects appears to have been gathered accordingly due to blind trust for the management in charge, the CEO of that company is a mystery but extremely reliable and meticulous, money is not an option, these clients treasure loyalty and our main competitor has an incredible reputation in the eyes of all. Additionally, the CEO is said to be a rare genius in the industry... what should we do?” Peter hesitantly asked.

"Hmm, don't worry about it; we’ll deal with this one step at a time… at least we can rest assure knowing this going to be a fair battle.”

Let the business war begin, CS Enterprises.

Cassia pov.

It was already five in the afternoon when I got off from work heading out of the company's building using my private elevator and directly through a side path to the exclusive garage which is strictly accessible to one and only person by fingerprint recognition… the CEO... me.... this way ordinary employees are not aware of my presence.

I’m basically like a ghost, roaming in and out of the building secretly arranging stuff then silently disappear before any one even notice.

I like working in peace, giving instructions and seeing to it that it is done effectively and accurately, in that way customers are always satisfied by our reliability. I usually scout for clients based on a series of complicated research into the business sector, but I prefer not to engage in personal contact, subordinates are usually assigned to meet and greet our important partners… Uncle Nolon publically seen as the mediator connecting the CEO to the entire company staff.

In many cases, previously customers were skeptical about doing business with a mysterious CEO whom they have never met and only heard of, but due to satisfactory results in every aspect of our working environment, the reputation that I've built for the company is undeniably impressive, making CS Enterprise the world's most outstanding empire in the industry.

Every little detail in the production and sales of the items and services produced are uniquely created personally by me and thanks to my out of the box thinking, capital along with resources have been on a steady increase over the past two to three years. Unfortunately, so has the competition and enemies...

Thinking of this I was a bit reluctant to put aside work for a few days, but on the other hand if I don't take some time to breathe a little, I might very well suffocate from the coldness surrounding this cut throat professional atmosphere.

Living this kind of life was rewarding when it came to finance, but personally as a young woman… it was tiresome and a bit boring. Put it this way… the most fun I have is hearing Uncle Nolon talking to clients on loud speaker as they either try to shamelessly suck up to the brilliant boss ‘man’ or desperately wanted to arrange a business marriage with their socialite daughters.

The mere thought and imaging their faces when they finally found out who was actually sitting behind the CEO’S desk was enough to put a smile on my face and a bounce in my steps.

Lost in my own joyful world, reminiscing of the day’s event, I made my way to the parked sports car, a baby blue Lamborghini Aventador, took off my smothering formal business wear, revealing the much more comfortable short white tank top paired with the usual pants suit… all that was needed was my stylish Rayburn sunglasses which I wasted no time in retrieving from the glove compartment, then tied my hair into a messy bun and I was ready to hit the road.

Stepping on the gas pedal I fled out of the company in a gust of wind. However, distracted as I was… trying to figure out what to do or rather where to start my limited spontaneous vacation, I heard a sudden bang and in an instant my senses were jolted back to reality realizing that I'd accidentally hit the car in front of me that had suddenly stopped by the intersection of the changing traffic lights.

‘Oh shit! I hope no one got hurt,’ I mentally cursed, regretting my zoned out actions as I frantically hopped out of my car and ran to check on the driver up in front, prepared to accept full responsibility for the minor collision, but before I could reach to open the door to offer help, I was met the cold glare of a pair of deep emotionless yet incredibly mesmerizing blue eyes that seems to reach into the depths of my soul and punched at it awakening my lifeless heart in a flash, causing my chest to feel as though it will burst open at any moment...

"Damn! He’s so perfect.... the heavens surely spared no effort." I mumbled under my breath as he stepped out of his car...

Maybe I really did need to get out more often.

At that moment I felt like life was truly unfair. How could someone possess such incredible beauty, yes.... he was handsome beyond all men, maybe even among Angels...

His flawless facial features were indescribable, just purely amazing... does he ever have to worry about acne and razor cuts? His skin sure did seem close to perfection… but the next second when he spoke my mind finally made sense of it all...

"If you're done staring, get the fuck out of my face." He barked rudely.

Turns out he was only blessed with good looks, but sadly deprived of basic decent manners. What a shame... the face of an angel but the mouth of a sewer rat.
