When the Mongolian Great Khan went out to war, he rode a special chariot made out of elephants.

For the comfort of the ride, the elephant carriage was covered with thick layers of Persian rugs, and the interior was full of food and drink. Outside, wrapped in the expensive animal furs of the various offerings
