C2 CHAPTER TWO

Five minutes later, Claire banged at the door for help as the door was locked. She looked ghosted due to her suffering from nyctophobia. She suffocated gradually as her phobia was getting worse. Janette and Chloe had no idea of the pain they were inflicting on her. At the Elrod company, Adrian was also exhausted from his work load as he took a day off from work. As the CEO, he didn't take any permission from anyone as he drove his Mercedes to his mansion.

As he neared his bedroom door, he heard banging as he rushed to the door, he opened it to see a fragile Claire lost her balance as he held her up. "Claire!, Claire!....., What happened to her, anyone home....., Claire!...". "What happened to her ". Janette rushed there with Chloe pretending as of having no idea what had happened to her. Adrian ordered Janette to call the doctor as he took Claire to the bed while Chloe stood there looking like a fool.

"Was the room dark?". Asked the doctor. "Yeah, I think so". "She has nyctophobia, which means, she is afraid of the dark, never allow her to be left alone in the dark ". The doctor said.

Her plan was to separate Adrian and Claire, but it seems to bring them rather together. "I have to think fast, I need a plan to separate Adrian from Claire". Chloe said gritting her teeth and strode away. "Was the room dark". The doctor asked. "Yes, doctor, the room was dark when I entered ". Adrian responded. "She has nyctophobia, which means, she is afraid of the dark. Please be with her for about three days for a speedy recovery ". "Okay!, Doctor....., Let me see you off". Adrian said escorting the doctor outside.

"This girl is very too much..., We need to come up with a plan". Janette suggested. "I was thinking about that...., We need to act fast". Chloe added as they both left the room while Adrian entered. Moments later, Claire regained her consciousness as Adrian offered her some food. "There is no need ". "No, the doctor said you need to be taken care of, let me..". Adrian offered help. He fed Claire and gave her medicines afterwards. "You never told me you were nyctophobic". "You never asked ". Claire replied.
