C7 CHAPTER SEVEN

The more Claire moved backward, the closer Kylo got to her. "Please Kylo!, I'm sorry!." Claire sobbed in defeat. He moved his hands down her waist as the other squeezed her butt. As he grew inches away from her, Claire yelled her lungs out as she heard the door flip open and fell unconscious. She woke up with the sight of a ceiling fan with white paintings. She turned to see the drip hanging on the drip stand.

"You are awake, how are you feeling". A voice said as she turned to look at a worried Adrian looking at her with pity eyes. "There is no need to be nice.., I'm good". Claire said creating a moment of awkwardness between the both of them. "Listen, we know you didn't do this, but we don't have any prove". "Don't worry, you can believe or not believe me, by the way, where is Kylo?". "He left the country". Adrian said. "What!, Which country did he go to?, Did you ask the police to arrest him?". "No, I didn't catch up with him, he escaped".

There was silence in the ward until the door opened as Chloe and Janette entered with fake smiles on their faces. "Hi!, sister in law, I was sick worried about you, how are you feeling". She said smirking. "I'm good, I feel better now". Claire faked a smile to cover her anger. After sometime of talking, Adrian left the ladies to attend to a call. Chloe and Janette threw daggers at Claire and burst out. "Don't think we are cool with you, we did that because brother was here". Janette said. "Why do you both hate me this much". Claire asked. "Because you stole my husband, Adrian was my childhood friend, and I have loved him since we met". Chloe burst out.

"But you both never dated, you didn't even tell him about how you feel about him". Claire rose from her bed. "And besides, he is married now, to ME, so telling him about your feelings is pointless ". "Yeah, I know, but I am going to destroy your marriage with him, so that I can marry him". Chloe said as Claire snapped. "You will do no such thing!, let go off Adrian and find another man". "No!, I want Adrian, no one else". Adrian got inside and the ladies ended their conversation as the doctor joined in.

He later discharged Claire as they all went to the mansion.
