C9 Make Money

Hsu Yan often skipped classes, which was not unusual in the city.

During the break, Hua Ming turned his head and glanced at Hsu Yan's seat, but he did not find anyone. It was the same as two days ago. He had not seen Hsu Yan since the day they left the infirmary.

Hua Ming held the 28 yuan tightly in his hand. He planned to return it to Hsu Yan. He had asked Wang Ge about the lunchbox. With the light set meal that he had described to him, it would cost 30 yuan each. He spent money to buy Hsu Yan a bottle of water and two yuan. So he still had 28 yuan left to give Hsu Yan. The money was part of his savings, and he was not rich, and he was used to keeping his accounts clear, and did not want to owe money.

He put the money back into his pocket and was stunned. He took the water bottle on the table and took a sip. His mind was in a mess. He didn't know what to think. He remembered what happened that day. As he was thinking, he suddenly realized something serious. Where was the medical fee?

Who paid for it? It was Hsu Yan too, right? Ah, then he would have to give him the medical expenses too.

In this way, it would cost a lot of money. Hua Ming frowned slightly. The last time he eavesdropped on his parents' conversation, his father's illness worsened again.

His father had always been ill, not seriously ill, but with all sorts of ailments, but they could kill him when they hurt. His parents had worked so hard to earn a place in the city that they had fallen ill, and now they were old and sick.

His father's illness could not be delayed, he could not ask for more money from the family, he had to find his own way, his little hoard obviously could not afford it, and he had to save some for himself in case he needed it suddenly.

The last class on Friday was a class meeting, and the homeroom teacher, Wang Shan, said a few symbolic words about taking care of their safety on the weekend and left them to study.

Usually, this class was something that everyone was happy to attend. Once the homeroom teacher left, it was up to the students to decide whether they wanted to study or rest.

Hua Ming did not want to waste any more time. He took out his book and started to do his weekend homework.

His deskmate, Wang Ge, played with his phone for a while and felt bored. He leaned over to watch Hua Ming do his homework.

"Wow! You finished your homework on the weekend? What are you going to do on the weekend?!"

Hua Ming filled in the final number on his homework and answered while looking at the next question, "Hmm... I've done so much. Look after the shop and give flowers! I'm very busy."

However, this week...

Hua Ming stopped writing and turned to look at Wang Ge. He thought for a while and asked hesitantly,

"Do you know where I'm needed as a high school student? I want to work part-time."

Wang Ge stared at him.

"I'm afraid no one will dare to hire you like this. You're a child laborer! And you won't be able to hire anyone under the age of eighteen or underage."

Hua Ming sighed and looked a little depressed.

"But..." Wang Ge patted Hua Ming with a smile and continued, "But since you are so good at your studies, you can go and teach at home. If you can't do it in high school, you can teach in primary school or junior high."

Hua Ming's eyes lit up, "Can I? Of course not. I can teach you."

Wang Ge clicked his tongue twice. "What a coincidence. A friend of my father's told my father that he wanted to find a younger tutor to tutor his sixth-grade daughter in math. He asked my father to find one for him."

Wang Ge said proudly, raising the virtual tail behind him.

"Thank you, Wang Ge. Thank you so much."

Hua Ming was extremely excited. He did not expect him to be able to earn so much money.

"Alright, alright, aren't I your deskmate? I can help you."

Wang Ge paused here. He looked at Hua Ming and said, "Actually, we are all the same. You don't have to feel inferior because of family relations. This school is indeed a world for rich children, but how do you know that we rich people won't envy you for your good grades? Everyone is equal and there is no such thing as nobility or inferiority. So usually, you don't have to hide in a corner all by yourself. You should have more followers. Everyone is good."

Hua Ming stared at Wang Ge, who rarely showed his sincerity. After a long while, he nodded and said lightly: "I understand."

Wang Ge sighed helplessly. His persuasion did not seem to work. Forget it, it was better to let nature take its course.

Hua Ming had always had a pit in his heart, and this pit had pulled him far away from outsiders.

Here, he raised his head and swept his gaze across this unbelievably large school, unable to tolerate him.

Speaking of which, in this school, other than his deskmate, Wang Ge, the only other person he had talked to was Hsu Yan. However, Hsu Yan and he were separated by two worlds. He did not want to intrude into Hsu Yan's world, and he did not want anyone to disturb his own.

Under Hua Ming's soft and cute personality, there was actually a strong and stubborn side to him. The principles in his heart were not easily influenced by anyone.

No matter who it was!
