C2 CHAPTER TWO

Ria drove into the school compound and Dani looked around with curious eyes. There are different cars parked in the car park and different students pouring into the school compound.

Dani turned to Ria as she unbuckled her seatbelt “Let me get down first and disappear before you get down” Dani said and Ria laughed before nodding.

“Okay. Have a great day” Ria said as Dani got down. For reasons known to Dani, she didn’t like letting people know that she and her were sisters.

Ria took a deep breath before calming herself down “You can do this” she muttered as she opened the door and got down.

Ria got down from the car and kept her chin up. After making sure the car was locked, she started walking confidently as everyone started turning towards her.

“Oh my god”

“It’s Arianna Mahmata”

“Who’s she?”

“Arianna Mahmata, cheerleader captain, straight A student and guess what?”

“What?”

“Gabriel Miles is her boyfriend”

Ria couldn’t help but smile upon hearing the comments behind her but she didn’t stop walking. She walked into the hallway and the murmurings increased. Ria wore her signature smile as people started greeting her. She waved her hands with a smile and exchanged brief hugs with a few of the guys she was familiar with.

She smiled as she sighted four girls leaning beside a locker talking and they all turned seeing the commotion. One of them raised her camera and started snapping Ria as she walked and Ria laughed seeing the way she snapped fanatically.

“I knew it was you, the moment I saw a commotion” Zara said with a smile and Ria chuckled.

“Yeah, only you is probably capable in the whole of Bells to cause such a commotion” Penny added and Ria laughed a little more.

“Oh my, I took some really good pictures” Ava said going through the pictures she had taken.

“Oh, Ria, take a look at this picture, it’s so dope” Ava said and Ria shrugged.

“You take really good pictures Ava” Ria said and Ava smiled widely.

“Thanks darling” Ava said before she continued “but this is really dope” Ava said as she showed Ria a photo.

In the photo she was laughing widely, her beautiful eyes shining. It was when she had seen Ava taking pictures of her and she laughed. Ria’s eyes lit up immediately.

“Wo, this is really good. Can you send it to me?” Ria asked and Ava nodded.

“Sure” she replied as Ria turned to the girls.

“I missed you guys so much” Ria cooed and Janet laughed.

“We still met a few weeks ago Ria” Janet said and Ria entwined her hands in Janet and smiled.

“Can’t I miss you guys even if I’ve only seen you guys yesterday?” Ria asked and Janet nodded.

“The hell you can” Janet replied and Ria laughed.

“We haven’t taken our group picture today” Zara said and Janet laughed.

“You are really serious about growing about your Instagram page” Janet said and Zara rolled her eyes.

“I already have a little over two million followers but it’s a far cry from Ria’s twelve million fans” Zara replied and Ria chuckled.

“Can we take the picture now?” Penny asked and Ava nodded as she brought out her phone and a selfie stick.

“Say cheese” Ava cooed and they all smiled brightly at the camera.

“Send the picture to me” Zara said and Ava nodded

“Sent” Ava replied and they started walking to their classes.

“You know the lastest rumour going on?” Penny asked.

“What is it?” Ava asked.

“Apparently, Jeffrey Gauff’s parents arranged a business relationship with him so he has to dump Laura Kimos” Penny replied and Janet frowned.

“That’s fucked up mehn” Ava said and Penny scoffed.

“That’s not the gist. Guess who the arranged girlfriend is?” Penny asked and Ria turned to her.

“Who is it?” she asked.

“Audrey Wick” Penny replied and Janet frowned.

“Isn’t that Laura’s best friend?” Janet asked and Penny nodded.

“Exactly” Penny replied and Ava shook her head.

“That’s so……gross” Zara said and Penny laughed.

“I’m not done alright” Penny said and Ava turned to her.

“What else?” she asked and Penny turned to her.

“Laura talked to Audrey and she found out that it was Audrey that told her parents to arrange a business relationship with Jeff’s parents because she had a crush on him and she thought Laura wasn’t worth Jeff” Penny replied and Ria looked at Penny in horror.

“You must be joking” Ria said and Penny chuckled.

“It’s all over the forum” Penny replied and Ria brought out her phone and went to the school forum. She scrolls through her phone and bit her lips lightly.

“You’ll smuggle your lipstick” Ava said to Ria.

“I still want to take pictures later” Ava added and Ria smiled.

“I’ll just reapply it then” Ria replied.

“No, it has to dry for it to have the kind of effect I want” Ava said and Ria nodded.

“Aye aye” she said and everyone burst into laughter.

“Audrey Wick is such a bitch” Zara said scoffing.

“How could she do that to her best friend?” Penny asked and Janet shook her head.

“Jealousy is scary” Janet said as she rolled her eyes.

“Even using her own parents. I must say she’s a big coward” Janet added and they burst into laughter.

“I should put that comment up” Zara said and Ria sighed.

“I just wonder what Jeff is gonna do. This concerns his parents’ business” Ria said and Penny scoffed.

“The Wicks are the ones making a deal with the Guarffs’. They asked for the business relationship just for you know…...” Penny said and chuckled.

“This Audrey of a girl needs to be taught a lesson” Ava said and Zara shook her head.

“People can be really scary, I’m glad I have friends like you guys” Ria said with a smile.
