C11 Chapter 11

At exactly six o'clock,everyone was settled..

..Allen instructed the co-ordinator about the lineup then walked elegantly on stage.

She took the microphone then spoke..."Good evening Ladies and gentlemen...My name is Allen Clay the founder and chief designer of Glamour....Today we launch our 33rd set....hope you will enjoy the evening."

After saying that she looks at the PA instructor on her right then nodded her head calmly...she went and sat off stage on one of the front seats.

The lights facing the audience were dimmed leaving the stage..

Wei Sihan looked up eargerly patiently waiting to see his little wife modelling beautifully....he could not take his eye off even for a minute as he did not want to miss the chance.

Before hand he had instructed Wang li to prepare a skilled photographer to take Jia li's pictures.

A few seconds later,the first model walked in gracily.....hand in hand with a male model...they followed until it was Jiang Yan's turn....Seeing people nod as they looked at her made her blush extremely as she began twisting her waist side by side feeling proud.

But what she din't know she had long lost her vibe and elegance..

Then came Jia li.....Wei Sihan sat upright being keener than before....he had long lost interest when he heard Wang li say that....Jia li will be the last.

Jia li walked and stood in on the red carpet smiling confidently...her shoulders upright and flawless giving people the time to admire both her gown and her body....

Wei Sihan gulped down nervously looking at his wife.....She was extremely beautiful that he wanted to go on stage and hide her.

"Wow...she is so beautiful...ive never seen anyone look this good in a red gown as her i cant take my eyes of her."

"I want to sign this model."

Wei Sihan became extremely jealous hearing their comments.

Jia had already noticed Wei Sihan the moment she came on stage....She began walking elegantly twirling around showing her beautiful legs....She then stopped at the middle as planned.

She was to stop so that Allen can come on stage and introduce the design.

Allen stood up then went on stage feeling very proud....when she was told to consider Jia she had her doubts since Jia had never modelled but now she felt that she had found a gem...Yes a gem she must sign her up.

"Ladies and gentlemen....this gown is called 'beautiful swan'...Many people asked me why I named it beautiful swan i hope your questions are now answered." She held Jia's hand then walked with her hand in hand then walked backstage.

Everyone stood up and clapped....

"this is the best run way show ive ever attended in glamour."

"Who is she?"

"Did you see yesterday's photoshoot pictures on glamour's site?"

"She's so beautiful i had that she's a newcomer and only 20years."

"Wait,she looks farmiliar."

"She's the xia's eldest daughter."

People begin gossipping trying to guess Jia's identity.Jiang Yan was extremely envious seeing everyone's attention on Jia li.

She goes to Jia's room then speaks..."Sister...you were so beautiful today."

"Your not bad yourself." Jia mocks her.

Xiaobai comes in with a bottle of water then sees Jiang Yan....She reprimands her.."Miss Jiang your blocking the way...dont disturb Jia she's tired after all she was the main focus today...she had too much pressure please leave before i call security....have some dignity."

The other models laugh hysterically hearing Xiaobai...

"Serves her right."

"She thinks she can bully everyone...hmph she's totally a fake."

"She's not even a D-list model yet she bullies people."

Jiang yan stomps out angrily feeling defeated.

"Jia you were so beautiful...its like the dress was meant for you."

Jia then quickly removes the dress...then tells xiaobai..."am going out..clear the area then inform the manager ."

"Dont worry boss ."

Outside Jia goes with Jinhai to look for Wei Sihan...they find him still rooted facing the stage....he seemed to still be in daze.

Jia went and sat next to him then said..."You are here."

Wei Sihan turns to Jia then said proudly.."Ofcourse how can I miss my wife's first debut.... Congratulations Mrs Wei." He hands her a bouquet of flowers.

"Thank you...Mr Wei." Jia replies.

Wei Sihan looks at her in shock not believing...he was used to Jia replying one or two words or just nodding. He regained his senses then continued..

"You were so beautiful today.....but dont dress up too beautifully in future."

"Whatever you say husband."

He looks at her in shock then says..."what did you say repeat." Wei Sihan was extremely happy that he couldn't help but giggle silently.

Wang li and Jinhai looked at their boss in shock.

"Lets go for dinner.....we need to celebrate."

She thought for a while then replied....

"Mmmh I know a place." Jia replied.

Wei Sihan held her hand then walked out....Leaving the two rooted men wondering what just happened.

"You can park here....let walk its just ahead." Jia speaks softly then alights from the car.

As they walk Jia explains...."I used to come here after school...Grandpa Lee cooks the best dumplings.....each time i was upset i found myself here and after eating his dumplings.... i forget all my problems.

"From now on am here....You dont have to carry all your problems alone am here for you." Wei Sihan looks at her gently holding her cheeks.

Jia nods...then walks ahead.

Grandpa Lee Jia smiles happily...."Jiajia come here...grandpa has missed you visit me more often....the usual?.."he asks....He then looks behind Jia and sees a really handsome man....by the looks of it he seems rich and pretty complicated.

Jia notices his gaze then introduces him...."Grandpa Lee...this is my husband Wei Sihan."

Wei Sihan looks abit shocked as he din't expect Jia to declare him his husband openly.

Wei Sihan moves forward then bows and says..."Grand pa Lee nice to meet you."

"You better take care of my Jia dont you dare bully her....dont think she's alone." Grandpa Lee declares seriously.

He then smiles and tells them to wait for him.

After a few minutes,he comes out with two bowls of dumplings and chopsticks then hands them to Jia and Wei Sihan.

"Mmmh... delicious." Jia looks up and smiles at grandpa Lee.

"Its good." Wei Sihan comments.

Wei Sihan was happy seeing Jia smile brightly....After investigating her background he realized that Jia had a tough up bringing which leads to her shunning away other people.....She stopped expecting people to love her as the people who could love her didn't really care for her.

Wei Sihan realized that Grandpa Lee treated Jia as her own granddaughter.

Wei Sihan's thoughts are disrupted after his phone rings...he looks at it then answers the call.

"When do you plan to bring my granddaughter in law.....mmh you cant hide her forever." Old Master Wei angrily shouts.

"Quickly bring her for a meal.....hmph! your so stubborn."

"Fine...let me ask my wife." Wei Sihan then hangs up.

"Grandpa wants to meet you." Wei Sihan looks at Jia....seeing her hesitate he continues...."If your not ready to meet him...its okay ill just tell him."

"No need." Jia answers back.

"How about next weekend?"

"Sounds good to me."

Old Master Wei has been bragging about her granddaughter to the extent that no one believes him anymore so he wanted to show off.

After eating they bid goodbye and Grandpa Lee din't forget to tell them to come often.

"Have you thought about the role? " Wei sihan suddenly asked on their way home.

"You can practice more since you don't have any projects lately then give it a try...dont worry you have about two weeks before the audition.... I'll bring the script after work tomorrow.

"Okay."

Wei Sihan thought for a while then said..."Come with me to work tomorrow."

"Okay." She agreed decisively.

"Enough Xiao Jiang." Fenhua tried calming Jiang Yan but to no avail....her younger daughter was so spoilt as soon as she arrived home...she has been throwing tantrums and breaking things.

Xia Ren was tired of the noise that he angrily left and locked himself in the study...."See how spoilt your daughter is....she cant even handle a little bit of dissapointment...deal with it yourself." After saying that he shut the door angrily leaving Fenhua rooted on the ground.

She was so angry that she took her phone then called Jia...as soon as the call connected she began ranting..."how can you be so selfish as to bully your younger sister....hhmmph....hurry tell your husband to use his connections to get Jiang Yan a better role....Your sister has been throwing tantrums she wont even eat."

Jia the replied calmly..."How is that my problem...deal with it yourself." After saying that she hanged up the call.....not wanting to listen to her mother's nonsense.

Wei Sihan heard the conversation..he turned worriedly then asked..."Are you okay?"

Jia nods calmly.

After twenty minutes they arrive at the mansion.

"Young Master,Young Miss welcome back." He takes off their coat then follows them inside.

"Dont prepare food we've eaten...warm up milk for the Young Madam."

"Yes Master."

After saying that they both go upstairs. After taking a shower Jia drinks the glass of milk then goes to bed as she has to get up early to catch-up with Wei Sihan.

Wei Sihan goes to his study to finish his pending afternoon work then went to bed at around 12:00am

The next morning, Jia wakes up early....she showers then puts on an elegant white dress paired with a black fur coat and boots....then goes to the opposite room and picks a matching bag.

Downstairs, Wei Sihan was elegantly drinking his tea reading a newspaper....he looked up then smiled and said "Good morning."

"Good morning."

"You look stunning as usual."

" Thank you." Jia blushes abit.

"What do you want eat. " He looks at the dishes then hands her a cup of milk.

"Anything."

Wei Sihan serves her toasted bread and eggs.

After eating they both walked out.
