C26 Chapter 26

"How was work today?" Jia asked.

Ever since they came back from their honeymoon they had agreed that they would always talk about their thoughts,their day every evening without fail. This will help them improve their relationship.

"It was okay....ill be going for a business trip when you start filming....for about a month."

"Am not sure if I'll get the role yet."

"I believe in you....you will definitely get the role." Wei Sihan assured her.

"Thanks."

"Dont worry, go do your best tomorrow....No more reading when we get back home have a good sleep."

"Mmmh."

The next morning, Wei Sihan drove Jia to the hotel where they would audition....despite Jia's refusal he insisted then said..

" Am your good luck charm...this is the least I could do...since I wont be there to accompany you." He kissed her cheeks then Jia got down from the car then he sped off.

Jinhai and Xiaobai drove Jia's car....the came out immediately they saw Jia then both walked in.

"There are so many people Jia....what should we do." Xiaobai asked worriedly.

"Lets just find a seat....its normal for many people to be here..... even the A-listed actresses are eyeing for a role in Revenge....Director Xu's movies are always the best."

"Okay...lets seat here."

Jia took out her script then continued reading.....

"Sister....Sister....you are also here ive been looking for you." Jiang yan walked towards Jia then spoke loudly drawing attention.

"Is that Jia Li?"

"Yeah....I think she is also auditioning."

"She is so pretty."

"She has never acted....all she has are just looks."

"Its such a waste."

Behind her was Lin Jiaze....who went to the same film school with Jia li...

She never liked Jia Li due to her beauty.

"Why do you look so shocked.....Cant I be here?" Jia mocked her calmly.

"Yeah you dont own this place...." Xiaobai added.

"Thats not what I mean....dont be mad I know your still upset about what I did.....im sorry please forgive me."

"Yeah Jia it was just a misunderstanding....you dont have to take it to heart plus Jiang Yan has asked for forgiveness." Lin Jiaze spoke.

"I dont think this concerns you." Jia replied looking at Lin Jiaze.

Lin Jiaze zipped her mouth in embarrassment.

"Sister why cant you just forgive me.....are you still mad because Zhang Yue fell in love with me....but your already married just let go." Jiang Yan shouted drawing everyone's attention.

"You mean she is married yet she still loves her younger sister's fiancee."

"No wonder she's mad."

"Jiang Yan is so pitiful."

"Jiang Yan your overthinking," she laughed softly then continued..."plus dint I announce the other day that I had forgiven you...dont bring the past...if you have nothing else to do please leave Im busy ."

After saying that she ignored Jiang Yan then went back to her script. Jiang Yan and Lin Jiaze went away fuming as they did not embarras her well enough.

"Now that ive heard Jia speak I remember she announced that she had forgiven her."

"Jiang Yan is so pretentious."

"Yeah...I better stay away from her."

Jiang Yan heard people gossipping about her she became angry.."Jiang Yan ignore them." Lin Jiaze tried comforting her.

"What role do you think Jia is auditioning for?"

" Ive seen her reading Xiarou's part....but thats the role you've been eyeing Jiang."

"Yeah,dont worry ive gotten the part."

"Are you sure?"

"Definitely."

After about two hours, Jia walked in immediately she heard her name...she stood before the judges then introduced herself.

"Hello..my name is Xia Jia Li...am going to audition the part where Xiarou is kicked out of the house."

This was one of the hardest parts as it hard alot of emotions to portray and that was what Jia wanted to aim at.

She called one of the extras to perform one of the lines.

"Okay go on." One of them said....they had spent the whole morning but could not find someone suitable for the role so they had zero expectations at this time.

Jia nodded then looked down for a few seconds then looked up....

"Please believe me I didn't do it....I promise....I really didn't do it."

"Get Out.... shameless brat."

"Fine I accept I'll take the blame for it, please forgive me.... I'll do anything but dont kick me out."

"Its too late.....Carry her out."

Jia laid on the floor crying bitterly...after 2mins she stood up then looked at the audience as it was written on the script that she was supposed to face the house then smiled bitterly.

"I Will be back mark my words." She said that with mockery then pretended to walk out....She came back then stood at the center of the stage waiting for remarks.

Director Xu and the others stared at her feeling very perplexed....they could not imagine her portray all the emotions rightfully.

Director Xu stood up then clapped happily.... Director Xu was known for choosing his own cast.

"Marvelous, Marvelous." He spoke excitedly.

"What is your name again?"

"Xia Jia Li."

"It would be a waste for you to act as Xiarou...

how about the female lead....here read these lines then come after thirty minutes for another audition."

"No...am okay with Xiarou."

"Really....just give it a try...your the best choice plus we dont have a female lead yet."

"Okay...."

Jia didn't want the female lead because.....her character was supposed to be devious and cunning which didn't attract attention.

"Do this we will add more lines and attention if you manage to bring out the you in the female lead." Director Xu spoke.

"Okay lemme get ready." She walked out.

She came out then saw Xiaobai and Jinhai looking at her nervously...

"Did you get it?"

"No"

"Young miss dont worry there are better roles." Jinhai tried to coax her.

"I got a better offer."

"Which is hurry and tell us."

"Female lead....im supposed to audition for it in 30minutes....."

"Wooow...Jia is the best."

Jia looked around then spotted a place.

"Lets sit there."

"Okay boss." Xiaobai skipped happily.
