C16 Michael's Private Life
Perhaps my attitude angered Anatol, for he suddenly turned to look at me, his eyes full of anger and reproach.
"Anatol, what right do you have to call me a bitch?! You are worse than I am. You are a scum. You are cheating on me with my best friend, and in our new house, what right do you have to scold me now, who do you think you are, you can sleep with other women and I can't sleep with other men? "
I roared at him, not caring if anyone around me heard. I could clearly see that Anatol was a little embarrassed after hearing me.
"I know I hurt you about Skylynn, but you can't just go to bed with another man. Do you know who Michael is?"
Anatol's tone became much softer, but it was still filled with reproach.
"You don't have to tell me what kind of person Michael is. Anatol, I have nothing to do with you anymore."
I suppressed the anger in my heart and said those words coldly. I let him go.
He did not pursue me, and I had just made up my mind that if he continued to speak to me in such a questioning tone, I would not hesitate to slap him in the face, for he deserved it.
Luckily, he didn't chase after me.
All my good mood was ruined by Anatol. I have been living too much recently, so I decided to indulge myself for the last time tonight.
I bought beer from the supermarket and a big bag of snacks. When I arrived at the moat, it was already evening.
I called Priya and asked her to come and drink with me, but Priya was still working overtime and could only come to see me after work, so I had to drink alone.
A breeze blew from the river. It was cold and very comfortable. I kept drinking by myself. I was already drunk, so I soon felt dizzy.
I didn't know when I saw a man and a woman arguing. The man seemed to be... Michael.
As for the woman, she seemed to be a popular celebrity - Keshia.
Why was he here? Moreover, he was a popular celebrity.
Michael knew a lot of people. He even knew a famous celebrity.
Just as I was wondering what the relationship was between the two of them, Michael suddenly looked in my direction. Startled, I quickly turned away so that he wouldn't see my face, but I still pricked up my ears to listen to what they were saying.
"Michael, I know I was wrong. Please forgive me, okay? I promise I won't do it again."
The one who spoke was Keshia.
"I've already made it very clear to you that it's over between the two of us. Don't bother me anymore in the future.
Michael's voice sounded impatient.
"Michael, please don't do this to me, okay? If you think there's something wrong with me, I'll change. I'll change myself the way you like, okay? As long as you don't separate from me."
Out of the corner of my eye, I stole a glance in their direction. Michael's back was to me, so I was emboldened.
