C18 Be Exposed
Michael was determined to get rid of Keshia, but that made sense. How could a rich and powerful man like him stand a woman cheating on him?
Now I could understand why he was so heartless to Keshia. Just like me, I couldn't stand the sand in my eyes. Anatol had betrayed me, and no matter how painful my heart felt, I would end the relationship with him, let alone a man like Michael.
"Michael, can't you really forgive me?"
Tears dripped down from Keshia's face. Her pitiful appearance was heartbreaking, but after listening to the conversation between the two of them and knowing that Keshia had betrayed Michael, I no longer felt any sympathy for her. Instead, I felt that she had brought this upon herself.
"Get out of here before I change my mind!"
Michael was completely impatient, and he even cursed out loud. His voice was so intimidating that I could clearly see Keshia's body tremble violently.
That conflicted expression of wanting to explain but not daring to do so.
After a moment of silence, Keshia turned around and left while crying.
With Keshia gone, the show came to an end. I turned around and continued to drink, pretending that I did not see what happened just now.
I thought Michael would leave soon, but I seemed to have overestimated my ability to disguise myself.
"I've just been watching a good show for so long. Now that the show is over, is there anything else you want to say?"
Michael's deep, sexy voice reached my ears, and my heart skipped a beat. I quickly looked around, and when I saw that I was the only one around, I was sure that he was talking to me.
I thought that I had hidden myself very well, but I didn't expect him to have recognized me long ago. It seemed like I had underestimated this man.
When I looked at him, his dark eyes were staring at me. There were complicated emotions in his eyes that I couldn't see clearly.
"Are you talking to me?"
I smiled awkwardly and looked at Michael with a guilty expression. After all, eavesdropping was not a glorious thing.
"I'm not talking to you. Could it be that I'm talking to a ghost?"
Michael frowned and walked towards me with large strides.
Every step he took caused my heart to beat wildly. I didn't know why.
And this man, can you not say the word 'ghost' in the middle of the night? Don't you know that I like to read supernatural novels?
Thinking about this, he felt a chill on his back. If it wasn't for Michael, I would have gotten up and run away.
"What are you doing here alone in the middle of the night? Why are you still drinking?"
Michael was getting closer and closer to me. He looked at the beer bottle in my hand and frowned. He guessed that it was a woman who didn't like to drink.
"That, I... I just happened to be here. I really didn't mean to eavesdrop on your conversation with Keshia."
I thought Michael was going to question me about the conversation I had just overheard between him and Keshia, so before he could say anything, I was already feeling guilty.
"Since you saw it, don't you have anything to say?"
Michael had already come to my side. I was sitting on the ground, and he was standing. He was no less than 180 centimeters tall, so I could only look up at him.
