C9 Bitch

As Priya mocked her, Skylynn's expression instantly changed, revealing her anger. "Watch your mouth! Anatol and I truly love each other. If it weren't for that woman, we would have been together long ago!"

Priya rolled her eyes and disgustedly replied, "All the bitches like you use the same excuses to justify their actions. This talk of true love is nothing but nonsense. Seducing your best friend's fiancé is inherently despicable!"

Angrily, Skylynn glared at Priya. "Who are you calling bitch?"

"You know exactly who you are! You sicken me!"

Priya retorted, refusing to back down.

Their argument drew the attention of onlookers. I swiftly grabbed Priya's arm and urged, "There's no point in getting into it with her. Let's go."

"Baby, they're bullying me, and you're just going to let it slide?" Priya protested.

Just as we were about to leave, Skylynn clutched Anatol's arm, looking wronged.

"Anna."

Anatol furrowed his brow, seemingly unable to bear seeing Skylynn upset, and called out to me directly.

Hearing him say my name, an unexpected surge of pain pierced through my heart. Suppressing the urge to cry, I turned around and stared at him coldly.

"Shouldn't you apologize to Skylynn for the hurtful things your friend just said?"

Anatol's tone was cold and devoid of emotion as he stared at me.

His indifferent demeanor tore at my heart. The man who had once promised to love and protect me was now questioning me because of another woman. Our years together meant nothing to him.

"Priya didn't say anything wrong. It was you who cheated on me first, betraying me for seven long years. And now you want my friend to apologize to her? On what grounds? And who are you to ask me for an apology?" I retorted loudly, no longer caring about the gazes of those around us.

I stepped closer to Anatol, fiercely challenging him.

I had tolerated his infidelity for far too long. Now he expected me to apologize to his girlfriend. Was I truly such a pushover?

Upon hearing my words, the people around us began to discuss, mostly condemning Anatol for his infidelity.

I had always been a weak person, and in the past, I would never have spoken to Anatol with such conviction. But today, I was seething with anger.

Clearly, Anatol didn't anticipate me exposing his infidelity so boldly. He appeared embarrassed, his gaze reflecting guilt.

"Why are you shouting like this? Who do you think you're fooling with your pitiful act? It's evident that you're the one who has been clinging onto Anatol!"

Skylynn approached Anatol, tightly gripping his arm, glaring at me with anger.

"Clinging onto him? As for this cheating scumbag, even if you gave him to me for free, I wouldn't want him. I find him utterly repulsive!" I smirked sarcastically, observing the intimate closeness between the two of them with cold detachment.

I couldn't bear any more deceit, particularly when it concerned matters of the heart.

No matter how much I had loved Anatol in the past, witnessing him in bed with my former best friend shattered any remaining affection. It was over between us.
