C2 Who Told You That My Daddy Is Dead?

Hazel's mouth twitched when she saw the little radish blinking at her.

"Ah?" Ms. Bradford was stunned. Seeing the child cry so miserably, Hazel's face turned even more awkward. Ms. Bradford felt guilty in her heart. "Sorry, Ms. Miles. I didn't know... Hey, Logan, don't cry either..."

Logan sniffled. His small face was so delicate that it looked like it was carved out of jade. He was so cute that no one could help but feel pity for him.

He sobbed and said, "Teacher, it's not easy for Mommy to raise me alone. She has to go to and from work every day and send me to school. Mommy is not deliberately late. Teacher!"

As he spoke, he seemed to be about to cry again.

The mother and son looked extremely pitiful. Ms. Bradford felt a little sympathetic and patted Logan's head. "Teacher, I understand!"

After saying that, Ms. Bradford looked at Hazel with tears in her eyes and said, "Ms. Miles, if you don't have time at the parent-teacher conference, you can call and ask for leave. Logan's academic performance has always been the top in the class. Actually, you don't have to worry too much about him!"

Although Hazel was speechless at her son's words, she still nodded her head. "I understand! Thank you, Ms. Bradford!"

Ms. Bradford touched Logan's head sympathetically and went downstairs.

After walking down half the stairs, Ms. Bradford saw the two handsome men, Jacob and Grayson, and was stunned for a moment. Seeing their eyes staring at Hazel, she didn't say anything and walked away.

It was also true that this mother and son pair were too pitiful.

After Ms. Bradford left, Hazel squatted down and looked at her precious son. "Logan, who told you that your father passed away?"

Logan blinked mischievously. "If I didn't say that my father passed away, would you let me go?"

Hazel covered her aching forehead. "But you can't lie!"

Seeing this child's excellent singing and writing, she almost believed that her husband had died.

"Pfft …" Grayson couldn't help but laugh. He turned around and looked at Jacob and Ezra, who were silent.

He compared Logan to the boy and said, "He's a living treasure!"

When Jacob heard this, he didn't stay any longer and walked down the stairs.

Grayson followed him and went downstairs.

...

On the stairs.

Hazel and Logan were still staring at each other.

After a while, Logan compromised and held onto the corner of Hazel's clothes, "Alright, Mommy! I know, even if I have never seen daddy, I shouldn't curse him to death!"

Hazel was still staring at him, not saying a word.

Logan pouted and stretched out three small fingers, swearing, "Mommy, I won't lie anymore!"

"Yes!" Hazel was satisfied and touched Logan's head, "This is my obedient child!"

Hazel held Logan's hand and walked down the stairs.

However, he did not know that not far from the school gate, a pair of mysterious eyes were staring at the mother and son as they left the school.

Grayson looked at Jacob curiously. "Brother, what are you looking at? Just now, you were already very strange upstairs…"

Jacob watched the conversation between the mother and the teacher from the side. Grayson had been curious about it for a long time, but his elder brother was not interested in such a lively scene.

Suddenly.

Grayson widened his eyes and opened his mouth. "Brother, are you really interested in that woman? She has a child! Besides, you heard that the child's father is not really dead. Are you trying to steal someone else's wife?"
