C14 Home Address

When the bell rang, Su Ruan was packing up her textbooks.

Tang Wanqing walked up to Su Ruan's table with a mocking expression. "What, you can't find anyone to adopt your lousy cat?" "That's right, maybe your cat is sick, otherwise why did it have to give it away."

The corner of Su Ruan's eyes twitched as she warned herself not to bother with someone like her.

However, the more she refused to respond to Tang Wanqing, the more excited she became. "Looks like I'm right. Tell me, what's wrong with your cat? If I'm in a good mood, I might be able to raise it and cure it!"

Soong Siqiao and Yu Yuanqing packed up their stuff and ran off as soon as the bell rang. No one spoke up for Su Ruan. Su Ruan, of course, did not think that Lu Hee would help her.

Tang Wanqing was like an angry, neglected clown. She reached into Su Ruan's drawer to pick up the kitten, "Don't be so mean to give me face. I'm willing to give you face. Don't be so mean!"

The table behind them made a loud noise. Lu Hee stood up and Su Ruan put away her small hands that were ready to move.

The students in the class who hadn't left were all watching the show. Each and every one of them had their eyes glued to the spot, hoping that the world would be in chaos.

Usually, after school, they would only wish they could sprint a hundred meters forward, but now they were no longer in a hurry.

With a serious face, Lu Hee put away the glasses on the table. He narrowed his eyes and looked at Tang Wanqing with a dangerous gaze. "Get out of my way!"

Tang Wanqing's face turned pale. Why couldn't she hold it in? She had shown him such a bad side!

After thinking about it, he felt a little apathetic towards it. In any case, he didn't care, right?

If she could attract some of his attention, he would be satisfied even if he only hated her.

But now, she suddenly realized that she still didn't like his disgusted gaze. It was like a knife stabbing straight into her heart.

She was in so much pain that she felt suffocated.

Not daring to look at his eyes any longer, Tang Wanqing fled in panic, not forgetting to throw a threatening look at Su Ruan.

Seeing that there was no liveliness, the students dispersed one by one. Su Ruan lowered her head and took out her schoolbag. She hadn't finished zipping it, so she didn't forget to leave a gap for the candy to breathe.

Su Ruan originally wanted to slip away secretly, but she noticed that Lu Hee didn't seem to have any intention of leaving. His pair of long legs blocked her path.

Su Ruan stared at his leg for a few seconds. It was also a school uniform, but the feeling of him wearing it was too different from the other boys'. It didn't seem like he had a yard to himself.

Su Ruan sighed. A delicate person might even have exquisite toes.

Su Ruan returned to her senses, feeling helpless. On her left was the wall, and on her right was him.

She could only look up at him, her misty eyes glowing.

Lu Hee handed his hand over to Su Ruan.

Su Ruan did not react for a long time. With her red lips slightly open, she had a puzzled look on her face. "What?"

Lu Hee frowned. There was a hint of awkwardness mixed in his voice, "Cat, give it to me."

Su Ruan subconsciously stroked the cat's head with her fingertips.

Wasn't Lu Hee afraid of cats?

Su Ruan was a little scared and kept her words after opening her mouth.

Lu Hee saw Su Ruan's doubt and said coldly, "Don't worry. Since I want it, I will take good care of it."

Su Ruan wrote a few words on his face, "Are you not afraid?"

Her mind was on her face, and she didn't try to hide it.

Lu Hee gritted his teeth and stared at Su Ruan's slender white neck. It was so white and tender that he wanted to leave a mark on it.

Realizing what he was thinking, Lu Hee's eyes darkened.

He had grown up with a certain resemblance to his father, and although he desperately didn't want to be associated with that man, he had to admit that there was a certain resemblance.

It was that they had to get what they wanted, but they didn't look like it at all.

That man wanted something that he had to steal, but Lu Hee preferred to take step by step, like a hunter taking in his prey.

He looked at Su Ruan, the corners of his eyes slightly curving. However, this prey needed to be carefully cared for. After all, she looked like a fragile crystal doll.

Su Ruan felt a chill run down her spine. Could it be that someone was plotting against her from behind?

Her small hand tugged on Lu Hee's school uniform's sleeve, "Aren't you afraid of cats?"

As expected, his words felt much more comfortable.

Lu Hee came back to his senses and lowered his head. Su Ruan looked up at him with a serious face.

It was kind of funny, Lu Hee finally got some patience, "How about, I give you the authority to supervise?"

Su Ruan's eyes lit up. "How do we supervise?"

Su Ruan heard a deep laugh that sounded like water dripping onto marble.

When she was still immersed in his laughter, he had already taken the candy out of her bag and was walking out with her neck in his arms. He left a string of mysterious words that seemed like an address, and when he reached the door, he turned around and said with a smile that was not a smile, "The address of my home."

Lu Hee was holding the candy in his hands, but the cat had a satisfied expression on its face. It seemed like Lu Hee was happy to carry it.

His home address?

Su Ruan's face turned red. She didn't have any intention of getting his address!

However, her damned brain still remembered the address clearly.

Feeling vexed, he hit his little head. She had fallen! Fallen!

Lying in bed at night, Su Ruan covered her face with the quilt, revealing her big flickering eyes.

He wondered how Lu Hee and the candy were getting along. He wondered if Lu Hee would throw it away with his tail if the candy was seduced by a beauty to crawl into Lu Hee's bed at night.

As Su Ruan thought of that scene, she couldn't help but find it laughable.

After she finished laughing, she stared at the ceiling in a daze. She didn't seem to worry about Lu Hee torturing the candy.

For some reason, she just didn't think he would.

She was clearly not very familiar with him, and they had not known each other for long, yet she actually trusted him.

Su Ruan couldn't sleep. She stood up and walked to the desk, afraid that she would disturb her mother. She turned on the small lamp.

Under the warm orange light, Su Ruan took out her diary. After being stunned for a long time, she only wrote two words.

Lu Hee.

In his dreams, Lu Hee frowned, as if something was pressing on his chest, pushing it into his arms bit by bit.

Lu Hee was very angry when he got up, not to mention that he had just slept for a short while.

He stretched out his hand and touched the fur on his palm. The cat even licked his palm with its tongue.

He paused for a moment.

Lu Hee instantly became clear-headed and almost flipped the candy on the floor.

Turning on the lights, the cat and the man stared at each other for a long time. Lu Hee rubbed his messy hair and resigned himself to his fate in the eyes of the cat. He stood up, stiffened for a moment, picked up the candy and threw it on the sofa outside.

He turned around and walked a few steps before turning around. He followed behind her with his head slightly tilted, thinking that he didn't know.

When she saw him turn his head, she immediately jumped onto the sofa as if she was looking up at the sky.

After he left, Candy continued following him immediately. A few times, Lu Hee picked up Candy's neck irritably and wanted to lock her up in the guest room. For these furry animals, Lu Hee had a shadow.

Ye Zichen carried her to the door of the guest room, and saw that Baked Sugar's listless look was a bit pitiful.

Su Ruan's pair of big red eyes appeared in his mind out of nowhere, accusing him of mistreating her cat. A trace of warmth appeared in her ice-cold eyes.

In the end, the candy was still in Lu Hee's room. Lu Hee made a small nest for it with his pillow.

After warning TangTang not to climb onto the bed, Lu Hee went to bed. TangTang also obediently laid on the pillow and turned her head towards where Lu Hee's bed was.

A dreamless night.
