C8 You Lost!

Tang Yexi said, "You choose; I'm not familiar with this area."

Gu Shimu nodded in agreement, "Okay."

He took Tang Yexi and her two sons to his regular martial arts dojo.

Once they were ready, the sparring began.

Tang Yexi, having been trained by a renowned master, executed her moves with seamless grace and powerful explosiveness, her techniques both precise and stunning.

Tang Xiaochu and Tang Xiaoci enthusiastically applauded, rooting for their mother.

To Tang Yexi's astonishment, Gu Shimu was quite formidable!

Despite his distinguished and refined appearance, suggesting a man unaccustomed to manual labor, each of his moves was delivered with overwhelming force, effectively overpowering her.

A single misstep, and she was struck on the shoulder, her body reeling backward toward the ground.

Amidst the worried cries of her children, Gu Shimu's arm securely caught her waist.

He spun her around to regain her balance and quickly released her with a gentlemanly gesture, his lips curling into a slight smile, "How about it? Do you want to continue?"

After several exchanges, Tang Yexi began to realize something – she might not be able to defeat this man.

Yet, she refused to concede.

She didn't want this man to have any further contact with her son!

She had to win this match to ensure this man would vanish from her and her son's lives!

This man was impressive, but she wasn't entirely without a chance of victory.

Determined to fight with all her might, the outcome was still uncertain!

Biting her lip, she nodded, "Let's go again!"

They engaged in combat once more.

And then... Tang Yexi was defeated.

When Gu Shimu held her throat with three fingers, disbelief flooded Tang Yexi's mind.

She had always considered herself a martial arts prodigy, unbeatable by anyone.

But today, she had been bested!

And she was thoroughly convinced of her defeat.

Whether it was speed, power, technique, or stamina, that man surpassed her in every aspect.

It had been a long time since she had felt the sting of defeat, and it was an uncomfortable sensation.

But she wasn't one to sulk over a loss. She conceded gracefully, "I've lost."

Gu Shimu released her and courteously steadied her, "You've already proven yourself to be quite formidable."

His words were heartfelt.

In this world, there were few men who could match him in combat, let alone a girl who appeared so delicate that a gust of wind might knock her over.

He would never have believed that such a fragile-looking, beautiful girl could possess such fearsome combat abilities had he not experienced it firsthand.

"There's nothing impressive about it. A loss is a loss," Tang Yexi said as she stepped back, gazing intently at Gu Shimu. "You can take Xiaochu's hair, but regardless of the paternity test results, Xiaochu and Xiaoci are my sons alone. I won't let anyone take them from me. As long as I draw breath, no one will snatch my sons away!"

"I understand," Gu Shimu nodded. "No one can take your children, but if the paternity test confirms they are indeed my sons, I'll need you to explain how you obtained my sperm and gave birth to them."

Tang Yexi's eyes dropped, and she lapsed into silence.

That was a chapter of her life filled with anguish.

She had no desire to relive that pain and humiliation.

Yet, if Xiaochu and Xiaoci truly were this man's sons, his request was not unreasonable.

All she could do now was hope that Xiaochu and Xiaoci had no connection to this man.
