"Do you realize you're playing with fire? Let me go!" The man struggled and growled. "Hahaha, Young Master Yu, we can't release you. We're thinking of your future offspring!"

"Exactly, exactly. This is a serious matter. We're doing this for your own good."

"Young Master Yu, you've been in pain all day. You can't afford to wait any longer." One of the burly men turned to Lee Bingqian. "Doctor, my friend here... Oh! A female, female doctor?"

At the mention of 'female doctor,' the men at the door ceased their actions and gazed at Lee Bingqian, stunned.

The man at the center caught a clear glimpse of Lee Bingqian's face, his deep-set eyes narrowing slightly. A closer look would reveal a trace of surprise in his expression.

Meanwhile, his companions continued their teasing, and the man's face grew increasingly grim. With a forceful elbow strike to a companion's chest, he sent him stumbling backward in pain.

Seizing the moment, the man attempted to break free, but his companions quickly regained their composure.

Outnumbered and already injured, he was swiftly subdued by his companions once more.

"Let me go. You guys are dead meat once we're back home!" he gasped, his face contorted with anger as he glared at them.

Seeing his genuine fury, his companions offered sheepish smiles. "Young Master Yu, our mission is complete. You can't keep putting this off."

Young Master Yu turned to Lee Bingqian. His lips parted as if to speak, but he ultimately frowned and said coldly, "Fine, I'll listen to you. But isn't there another doctor in this hospital? Get me a male doctor! I don't want a female doctor!"

"Okay, okay, Young Master Yu, please calm down. I'll arrange for a male doctor to see you right away."

The men had been causing a commotion since they arrived, and now they even had the nerve to complain about her.

Lee Bingqian, who had a keen eye for attractiveness, couldn't deny that Young Master Yu was quite handsome and met her standards of beauty.

Lee Bingqian felt a surge of anger rise within her as she was met with a disdainful look from the other party. Her pride wouldn't allow her to be dismissed so easily, and she knew from their brief exchange that they too hailed from Lunamis.

"In our profession, we see only patients, not genders," she stated firmly.

Huang Wenyu had no interest in engaging with Lee Bingqian. With a cold gesture, he shook off his companion's hand, "Go, register again."

Lee Bingqian's smile faded as she raised an eyebrow and retorted, "What does it matter if I'm a female doctor? I happen to be the top urologist in this hospital. Just look at the long queue outside; that's how many people seek me out for treatment."

At her words, Huang Wenyu hesitated, his gaze lingering on her clear, bright eyes, and his expression soured even further. She apparently didn't recognize him.

Her companion chimed in, "Exactly, Young Master Yu. When I was registering you, I inquired, and many praised Dr. Lee for her exceptional skills and compassionate care. Why not stick with her? Let Dr. Lee take a look!"

Their comments prompted stifled chuckles and averted gazes from the others, all struggling to contain their amusement at the thought of Lee Bingqian treating Huang Wenyu. Yet, considering his reputation, they suffered through their restraint.

To Huang Wenyu, their reactions seemed mocking. And this woman...

With a scowl, he declared, "I simply do not want a female doctor."

Lee Bingqian frowned at his response. "Sir, that's gender discrimination."

"I assure you, I have no such intent. I merely prefer a male doctor. Since Dr. Lee has a full schedule, we won't impose any further." With that, Huang Wenyu turned to leave.

"Avoiding treatment is hardly commendable. For your information, I am the best option for you in the entire Capital, bar none," Lee Binglian said, her voice cold with a touch of pride as she gave them a sidelong glance.

"I'm sorry, my friend is just shy; he doesn't harbor any gender bias," Huang Wenyu's friend quickly apologized to Lee Bingqian.

Despite having encountered such situations numerous times, Lee Bingqian couldn't help but feel uncomfortable each time. Nevertheless, appreciating the offered olive branch, she gestured dismissively and said, "Do as you please."

As they followed Huang Wenyu, his voice floated back to them: "Can you believe a woman is a urologist? Has she lost her mind?"

Unable to contain her frustration, Lee Bingqian rose from her seat and swiftly approached the doorway, blocking him as she called out, "What's wrong with a woman being a urologist? Knowledge has no hierarchy; the most accomplished is the teacher! Are you belittling women?"

Huang Wenyu, taken aback that she had actually confronted him, furrowed his brow and responded, "I have no disdain for women."
