C18 Snake Venom
Zhang Yue looked around anxiously. The villa was located deep in the mountains, and trees could be seen everywhere, blocking her line of sight. There was no way for her to tell where Su Yan was.
What should he do! Zhang Yue was apprehensive. According to Gu Chengyu's personality, if she lost Su Yan, he definitely wouldn't let her off. Although he wasn't here right now, he would come to get her sooner or later.
Right now, all she could do was pray for Su Yan's safety. Zhang Yue took a deep breath and looked around, looking for Miss Su. "Miss Su?" "Where are you?"
Zhang Yue shouted for a long time, but no one replied. Just when she was extremely anxious, a phone's ringtone quickly attracted her attention.
She looked at her cell phone and saw the caller ID: Gu Chengyu. It made her hesitate whether she should pick up the phone or not. After a brief moment of consideration, she still picked up the phone.
"How is Su Yan?" Gu Chengyu's voice was very low.
"Miss Su, she …" Zhang Yue hesitated, unsure of how to explain it. She couldn't possibly say that Su Yan had run off on her own, right? Gu Chengyu was not a three year old child, so he would definitely not believe Gu Chengyu. After all, it was rumored that they had a good relationship with each other. Although Gu Chengyu did not know what Su Yan had experienced, he would not take the initiative to run away.
There was a moment of silence on the other end of the line, but she couldn't think of any other reason to explain herself. She opened her mouth and was about to say something when she suddenly heard a blurrish sound coming from the other end of the phone.
Only then did Zhang Yue look at her phone and realize that it was not the other party who hung up, but the system that hung up. There were no more signals.
"Miss Su, where are you?" Zhang Yue put away her phone and walked along the dirt road through the forest.
A loud rumble of thunder could be heard, startling Zhang Yue. Her heart clenched, Su Yan still hadn't found her way out. The weather in the mountains had changed, and it was probably going to rain soon.
She had to find Su Yan before it rained. Otherwise, if it rained, the road would be even harder to walk on.
"Miss Su, where are you?!" Zhang Yue followed the dirt road down the mountain. Halfway up the mountain, a bolt of lightning streaked across the sky.
After a while, the sky started to rain and the mountain road became harder to walk on. Zhang Yue frowned. It was raining before she could find the person she was looking for. It was truly raining that night.
Because of the rain, the dirt road was muddy and it was even more difficult to walk. Zhang Yue's shoes were already covered in mud, but she still didn't stop. She seemed to have become even more determined to find Su Yan.
The rain gradually soaked her clothes, making her look like a drowned chicken as she continued to shout Miss Su's name.
It wasn't until her voice turned hoarse, but she still couldn't see Su Yan. Just when she felt hopeless and wanted to give up the search, and call Gu Chengyu for help to get him to send someone over, she finally saw Su Yan.
Su Yan fell onto a small mound. Rather than calling it a small mound, it would be more accurate to say that it was a grave.
The rain had soaked her hair and stuck it to her face. Her lips were blue, and her face was terrifyingly pale.
"Su Yan, how are you?" Zhang Yue nervously stepped forward to check her condition.
Closing her eyes, Su Yan didn't answer her, which immediately made Zhang Yue realize that something was wrong.
The rain became heavier. Zhang Yue carried Su Yan on her back as she struggled forward. Su Yan, who was on her back, was abnormally pale.
By the time Zhang Yue had carried Su Yan back to the villa, the sky had already darkened. Zhang Yue changed her clothes, wanting to change Su Yan's clean clothes as well.
Undoing her clothes bit by bit, helping her dry her body. Zhang Yue did it with great care, and Su Yan never woke up from this process.
It wasn't until she had taken off Su Yan's pants that she discovered the cause of Su Yan's unconsciousness. Her gaze was fixated on the two bloody holes in her legs.
The blood on the wound had probably been washed off a little by the rain, and she hadn't looked at it closely. Su Yan had been injured in the first place, and it was on her leg.
Looking at the wound, Zhang Yue couldn't shift her gaze away. The wound looked like it had been bitten by a snake. The wound was already purple, and there were some bruises on it, making it look a bit sinister.
She and Su Yan were the only two people in this huge villa. If she didn't take care of Su Yan's wounds in time, her life might be in danger.
Thinking of this, Zhang Yue dialed Gu Chengyu's number. After all, it was a matter of life and death.
The call was quickly connected. The other party was silent, as if they were waiting for her to speak first.
"Young Master Gu, Su Yan, something happened to her …" Without waiting for her to explain the situation, the other party immediately hung up the phone.
No way … Could it be that Gu Chengyu doesn't care about Su Yan at all? Thinking of this, Zhang Yue's heart sank. She once again shifted her gaze to Su Yan, only to see her face devoid of any color. It was exceptionally pale.
However, this was a life after all. Right now, she wished that she was a doctor with the medical skills to bring people back to life.
She wandered around Su Yan's bed, thinking of a way to save her, so she had to take Su Yan out. There were so many people here, and very few people should know about it.
After some thought, Zhang Yue's eyes lit up. Gu Cheng'en! Thinking of this, she immediately dialed Gu Cheng'en's number as if she was grabbing onto a lifesaving straw. The phone rang for a long time but was not picked up. This made Zhang Yue's heart drop to the bottom.
Why didn't he answer the phone? Although she didn't know why, Zhang Yue still didn't give up and wanted to call another one.
Just as she was about to make a phone call, the door to her room was suddenly kicked open. Zhang Yue turned pale with fright and subconsciously looked toward the door.
Gu Chengyu appeared at the door with rapid breathing. It was obvious that he was too anxious to run over, so his breathing was not steady.
"How is Su Yan?" Gu Chengyu walked quickly to Su Yan's bedside without even looking at Zhang Yue.
"She has been bitten by a snake. Right now, the poisonous blood is spreading and she needs time to heal."
Gu Chengyu looked at Su Yan's wound and suddenly frowned. He knelt down beside the bed and moved his lips closer to Su Yan's wound, causing Zhang Yue to be shocked, "What are you trying to do?"
Gu Chengyu did not pay any attention to her and directly sucked out Su Yan's poisoned blood, directly spitting it out onto the ground. Only when he saw the blood on her legs return to its normal bright red color did he feel relieved, as if he did not notice that his lips were already swollen.
"What do you think of them?" In a split-second, killing intent filled Gu Chengyu's eyes. It was as if a layer of frost had formed in the room.
"I … I just wanted to take her out for a walk. Who knew that something like this would happen …" Zhang Yue swallowed her saliva as her heart leaped into her throat.
Picking up Su Yan, Gu Chengyu's sharp eyes swept across Zhang Yue as he said coldly, "I'll deal with you in the future!"
