C135 I Have A Granddaughter

For a moment, complete silence filled the corridor. A daughter. Samantha had given birth to a daughter.

The Wood family’s newest member had arrived. And with her arrival, many futures were about to change. The atmosphere at the hospital was completely different from what everyone had expected.

The moment the doctor announced that Samantha had given birth to a healthy baby girl, Kelvin Wood burst into joy. “A granddaughter! I have a granddaughter!” His voice echoed throughout the corridor.

Tracy laughed as tears formed in her eyes. “I told you a girl would be wonderful.” The couple immediately went to see Samantha and the baby.

The tiny child was wrapped in a pink blanket, sleeping peacefully in her mother’s arms. The moment Kelvin saw her, his heart melted. “She looks just like her mother.”

Tracy smiled. “Of course she does.” Kelvin carefully touched the baby’s tiny hand. The little girl immediately grabbed one of his fingers.

That simple action nearly made him emotional. “My granddaughter is so smart already.” Tracy rolled her eyes. “She’s only a few minutes old.” “She’s still smart.”

The old couple laughed happily. Samantha watched the scene quietly. A warm feeling rose in her heart. At least one thing was certain. Her daughter would never lack love from her grandparents.

Unfortunately, not everyone shared the same happiness. Standing in the corner of the room, Ben’s expression remained gloomy. A daughter. Not a son. A daughter.

Everything he had imagined about his future heir running the company one day seemed to disappear. The more he looked at the baby, the more complicated his emotions became.
