C300 Blood For Blood
Sarah smiled warmly. "Dad, I'm fine. I just wanted to check on everyone." Kelvin smiled with relief. "We've just returned to our bedroom." Tracy's cheerful voice came from beside him. "Sarah, my daughter, I miss you already." Instead of replying immediately, Sarah asked, "Mom... is Ben okay?" Kelvin looked puzzled. "Yes. Why do you ask?" Sarah hesitated before saying, "Well... let me add Samantha to the call first."
A few moments later, Samantha answered. She smiled teasingly. "Sister, do you already miss us?" Sarah giggled. "No, but I think I've figured out something very important." Kelvin's expression immediately became serious. "What is it, my child? Are they treating you badly over there?" Sarah laughed and shook her head. "No, Father. You wouldn't believe me if I told you that my mother-in-law didn't even go to work today. She said she wanted to stay home and spend time with me." Tracy chuckled. "That sounds exactly like Valeria." Samantha smiled. "Then what's bothering you?"
Sarah took a deep breath. "I think I've connected something about Jack." Kelvin straightened in his seat. "What do you mean? Stop going around in circles and tell us." Sarah glanced at Chris, who was lying on the bed, looking completely uninterested in the conversation. Then she continued, "The Mooney family told us they're being targeted by a very dangerous drug syndicate." She paused before adding, "That reminded me of everything you told me about Jack." Silence filled the call.
Finally, she asked, "Could Jack be connected to that syndicate?" Kelvin's eyes widened. "You mean... they're targeting the Police Minister's family?" Sarah nodded slowly. "I wanted to ask them more questions, but since none of us knows the full story yet, I'll explain everything tomorrow after I've figured things out." After exchanging a few more words, Sarah waved goodbye and ended the call. Chris, who had stopped paying attention halfway through the conversation, suddenly remembered something.
Without wasting time, he immediately called Mike. After a few rings, the call connected. I laughed the moment I answered. "Brother, don't tell me you're already done." Chris ignored the joke. "Brother, you promised to explain everything about that training facility." I smiled. "My wife is still reading. We were actually supposed to talk about it during the video call." Chris wasn't interested in waiting. He immediately added Alicia and Sarah back into the call.
Alicia answered with a helpless smile. "Brother, don't you ever get tired?" Chris shook his head. "You said you'd explain everything." Without another word, I shared my screen. "I'll show you instead." The recording from the hidden camera began to play. Both Chris and Sarah stared at the screen without blinking. Sarah was the first to react. "Wait..." Her voice trembled slightly. "Why are they carrying guns?" She looked at me. "Who are those people?" Chris suddenly leaned forward. "Wait... isn't that your old house?"
I nodded. "Yes." "When we first arrived at the company, we noticed several suspicious things." "So I started investigating." I sighed. "Unfortunately, I was traced before I could finish." "I stopped immediately, but it was already too late." "Willy's men had already found me." I looked at Chris seriously. "Honestly... I think they already know who I am." I paused. "So the war we talked about..." "...is definitely coming." Sarah swallowed nervously. "So... this is the drug syndicate you mentioned?"
Alicia nodded. "Yes." "The Harris family." Her smile slowly disappeared. "They were after my grandfather many years ago." "When they couldn't reach him..." "They murdered my mother." She paused. "...and my aunt." Complete silence filled the room. Neither Chris nor Sarah knew what to say. After a long moment, Sarah spoke softly. "I'm... so sorry." "But..." She looked at Alicia. "Why do you sound so calm?" Alicia smiled faintly. "Because crying won't bring them back." "I want to become stronger."
She looked straight into the camera. "That's why I'm building my own team." "They'll train." "I'll train with them after giving birth." "And when the time comes..." "...we'll fight together." Her voice became cold. "Blood for blood." "My mother was innocent." "My aunt was innocent." "They died simply because someone wanted revenge against my grandfather." "They will answer for what they did." Once again, silence filled the call. Finally, Chris broke it. "So..." He took a deep breath. "Which contract am I signing?"
He smiled. "I can't let you two fight dangerous people alone." Alicia smiled gently. "Brother..." "That isn't a decision you should make alone." "You're married now." "And you're going to be a father." "You and Sarah should decide together." Before Chris could respond, Sarah spoke first. "No need." She looked at Chris before continuing. "He'll sign the second contract." "As for me..." "I'll sign the first one while I'm pregnant." "After I give birth..." "I'll join him and sign the second."
She looked at Alicia with determination. "If this family is really as dangerous as you say, then they won't hesitate to target your friends if they can't reach you." "So we also need to be prepared." Alicia smiled proudly. "Exactly." "That's why I wanted both of you to see everything with your own eyes." "I even thought about inviting Bright." Chris immediately shook his head. "No." "We don't need him." Alicia simply smiled. "Alright."
Chris stretched his arms before standing up. "Well, that's enough for tonight." "We'll talk again tomorrow." "Good night." The call ended. Chris placed his phone on the bedside table before turning toward Sarah with a smile. This time, Sarah didn't object. Instead, she smiled back and quietly moved into his embrace as the two of them settled in for the night together. The torture he had wanted finally began.
Late that night, Jack was resting in a shabby hotel room when his phone suddenly rang. He opened his eyes, reached for the device, and immediately sat upright the moment he saw the caller ID. "Uncle... it's been a while," he said respectfully. Willy's voice was unusually serious. "Nephew, I have an urgent job for you. If we don't act quickly, we'll be exposed and arrested. Our entire family will be destroyed."
Jack's expression hardened. "What do you mean? Tell me what happened. How can I help?" Willy replied coldly, "The Mooney family is coming after us, and they have the police on their side."
