Josh sat quietly in his office for several minutes after leaving Bright's room. The conversation kept replaying in his mind. Six people. He had not expected that answer. At first, he had only been curious. He wanted to know whether Sarah had really gone out with Mike, Alicia, Chris, and Laura. But after speaking to Bright, his curiosity had slowly turned into concern. He leaned back in his chair and rubbed his forehead. "Something is definitely going on," he muttered.

He remembered Laura's words from their conversation. She had mentioned going out with Bright. She had also mentioned Mike and Alicia. But she had never mentioned who director Sarah went with. And she certainly had not mentioned Chris. Josh stared at his computer screen without actually reading anything. "Why would they keep it a secret?" Then another thought came to him. Maybe I wasn't supposed to know. That thought made him uncomfortable. He shook his head and forced himself to concentrate. "Whatever they are planning, it has nothing to do with me."

He tried to convince himself of that. But deep down, he knew that was probably not true. Sarah was his director. Chris is Mike's friend. And Mike was someone who seemed to be connected to almost every important event happening around them lately.

Josh sighed. "What if Chris and Director sarah went together?" "Wait..." "If Chris and director Sarah are together then what if they tell her the things I did to Mike?" "What if they upset her and she decide to fire me?" "And what will I do if Mike beg her to aveng for him?" He shook his head. Every question he had somehow leads to another question. Bids of sweat were visible in his forehead. For the next few hours, he deliberately pushed his questions aside.

Surprisingly, the morning passed quickly. By the time the clock reached twelve, Samantha finally stood up from her desk. She stretched her arms before walking toward Sarah's office. After knocking lightly, she opened the door. "Sister?" There was no answer. Samantha stepped inside. She immediately noticed Sarah sitting on her chair head down, fast asleep. She stared at her sister for a few seconds before smiling. "Seriously?" She walked closer. "Sarah." Sarah moved slightly but did not wake up.

Samantha shook her head. "Sarah." This time Sarah opened her eyes. She rubbed them slowly and looked at Samantha. "Sam?" "Are we not going to Lucia Goods?" Sarah immediately looked at the clock. Her eyes widened. "What? It's already twelve?" Samantha laughed. "You were sleeping so peacefully that I almost didn't want to wake you." Sarah quickly stood up. "Give me a few minutes. Let me wash my face." Samantha nodded.

Sarah walked toward the bathroom, Samantha followed her with her eyes. Then she smiled. "Sister, don't you think you should get yourself a secretary?" Sarah stopped and looked back. "A secretary?" "Yes. Someone who can remind you about meetings, appointments and things like that." Sarah laughed. "Do you honestly think there is anyone who can survive Chris?" Samantha immediately burst out laughing. "That's actually true."

Sarah shook her head. "Chris doesn't even let me breathe sometimes. Imagine giving someone else the responsibility of keeping track of my schedule." Sarah laughed again. "What happened to your previous secretary?" Samantha shrugged. "I wanted some privacy you know how emotional I was back then, so I helped her find another position." Sarah raised an eyebrow. "You fired her?" "I didn't fire her." Samantha smiled. "I simply gave her a chance to live a peaceful life." Both women burst out laughing.

A few minutes later, they left the office together. Instead of immediately heading to Lucia Goods, they first went to Chris's office. Sarah opened the door without knocking. Chris, who was sitting behind his desk, immediately looked up. Amanda was also inside, working through some documents. The moment she saw Sarah and Samantha, she stood. "Director. Vice Director." Sarah nodded. Samantha smiled politely.

Sarah then looked at Chris. "Big Head, let's go." Samantha immediately covered her mouth to hide her laughter. Amanda did the same. Chris stared at Sarah. "What?" Sarah looked innocent. "What?" Chris pointed at his head. "What did you just call me?" Sarah smiled. "Big Head." Chris frowned. "Is my head big?" Nobody answered. Instead, laughter filled the room. Chris looked at his wife. "Wife, you are deliberately provoking me." Sarah laughed. "What did I do?" "You came into my office and insulted my head." "Your head is perfectly fine." "Then why did you call it big?" "Because it is."

Samantha couldn't hold her laughter anymore. Even Amanda turned away, trying not to laugh. Chris shook his head. "One day, wife, I am going to get revenge." Sarah smiled. "I'll be waiting." Amanda finally spoke. "Director, aren't you supposed to be his mysterious wife?" Samantha looked at her. "Why?" Amanda smiled. "Our Administration department kept asking to be Mr Chambers girlfriend." "He turned everyone down and said he has his mysterious wife."

Chris leaned back in his chair. "She can't stay hidden forever." Sarah smiled at him. "And who said I wanted to stay hidden?" Chris grinned. "You said it yourself when we got our marriage certificate." Samantha shook her head. "You two are impossible." Sarah laughed. "Come on. We are going to Lucia Goods." Chris stood up. "Let's go." Soon, the three of them left the office and drove separately toward Lucia Goods.

At Wood Residence, Ben remained at home. He sat quietly, thinking about everything his mother had told him earlier. Tracy's words continued to echo in his mind. You have a wife. Try to fix things with her. Ben lowered his head. "How am I supposed to fix things with Samantha?" He leaned back. "We barely spend any time together." "I only see her during Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner." "That is almost our entire relationship now. He sighed.

Then another thought entered his mind. "Mom said Samantha never found someone else." Ben frowned. "Wait..." He slowly sat upright. "Isn't that because her heart is still with Mike?" The thought immediately irritated him. He shook his head. "No. I can't keep thinking like this." But the more he tried to push the thought away, the more it returned. He remembered how Samantha had defended Mike. How she had recently decided to become friends with Mike and Alicia again. And now she was planning to join their group.

Ben clenched his fists. "How am I supposed to compete with someone who has been part of her life for so long?" He remained silent for a while. Then suddenly... His phone rang. Ben reached for it. The moment he saw the caller's name, his expression changed. Jack. Ben froze. For several seconds, he simply stared at the screen. He didn't answer. The phone continued ringing. Ben's thumb hovered over the screen. He knew he shouldn't answer.

After everything that had happened, Jack was the last person he wanted to speak to. The phone eventually stopped ringing. Ben exhaled. "Good." He placed the phone down. A few seconds later, it rang again. Ben stared at it. Jack was calling again. This time, Ben hesitated even longer. Finally, he answered. "Jack." Jack's voice came through calmly. "My friend." Ben remained silent. Jack continued. "You don't even thank me for doing you a favor."

Ben's expression hardened. "What favor?" Jack laughed softly. "You know exactly what I'm talking about." Ben's heart began beating faster. Then he asked the question that had been troubling him since the news broke. "Jack..." He paused. "Did you assassinate the Maguire family?" Silence. For several seconds, neither man spoke. Ben waited. Jack finally answered. "You owe me two favors." Ben's eyes narrowed. "That doesn't answer my question."

Jack ignored him. "I'm at the mall. Come here." "Why?" "We need to talk face to face."Jack's voice became more serious. "You know phones can be tapped." Ben looked around the room. He lowered his voice. "What exactly do you want to talk about?" "You'll find out when you get here." Jack ended the call. Ben stared at his phone. He knew this was dangerous. Every instinct inside him told him not to go. But he also needed answers. He needed to know whether Jack had really killed Natalie and her family. And if he had, Ben needed to know why.

He stood up. "I have to know." Ben quickly changed his clothes and headed downstairs. Tracy and Kelvin were sitting in the living room watching television. The moment Ben rushed down the stairs, both of them turned toward him. Tracy immediately noticed his hurried expression. "Ben?" He stopped briefly. "Mom." "What happened?" Ben hesitated. Then he decided there was no point hiding it. "Jack just called me." Kelvin's expression immediately changed. "Jack?"

Ben nodded. "He wants to meet me. He's at the mall." Kelvin stared at his son. "And you agreed?" Ben nodded again. "I need answers." Kelvin stood up. "Ben, think carefully before you do anything." Ben looked at his father. "I want to know if he really killed them." Tracy became visibly worried. "And if he did?" Ben looked down. "Then I need to know why." Kelvin shook his head. "You don't listen, do you?" Ben didn't respond. Kelvin continued. "We have warned you repeatedly about that man. Every time something happens, you find yourself deeper inside his problems."

Ben sighed. "Dad, I understand." "No, you don't." Kelvin's voice became firmer. "If Jack is connected to the Harris family, meeting him alone is dangerous." Ben looked at him. "I won't stay long." "That's not the point." Kelvin stepped closer. "The point is that you don't know what he wants from you." Ben remained quiet. Finally, he said, "I'll be careful." Without waiting for another argument, he walked toward the door. Tracy watched him leave.

The moment the door closed behind him, she turned to Kelvin. "Husband..." Kelvin sighed. "What?" "What are we going to do?" Kelvin remained silent for a moment. "We warned him." Tracy looked toward the door. "But he doesn't listen." Kelvin nodded slowly. "Exactly." Tracy's expression remained worried. "But what scares me is that everything is becoming connected." Kelvin looked at her. "What do you mean?" "Ben is still connected to Jack." She paused. "Sarah and Chris are getting closer to Mike and Alicia."

Kelvin's expression darkened. "And Samantha has now decided to join them." Tracy nodded. "Exactly." She lowered her voice. "If Ben doesn't end his friendship with Jack, while Sarah and Samantha become closer to Mike and Alicia, then sooner or later..." She stopped. Kelvin finished the sentence for her. "The two sides could end up standing against each other." Tracy swallowed nervously. "And if that happens, our family could be caught in the middle."

Kelvin looked toward the door through which Ben had just disappeared. Neither of them knew what they could do to protect their children. Outside, Ben climbed into his car. He started the engine. His hands remained on the steering wheel as he stared ahead. "Jack..." He took a deep breath. "Just tell me the truth." Then he drove toward the mall.
