C356 Explain

Sarah slowly stepped out of Samantha's office and quietly closed the door behind her. For a moment, she simply stood in the corridor. Her thoughts were in complete chaos. She looked down at herself and rubbed her forehead. "Is Samantha a lesbian?" "How did Faith even get into her office?" "When did this start?" "Did they know each other before the training?" "Did my brother somehow cause this?"

Question after question flooded her mind. The more she thought about it, the more confused she became. Shaking her head repeatedly, she slowly walked back toward her office. When she entered, Chris was already waiting with lunch. He smiled. "Why did you come back alone?" Sarah forced herself to remain calm. "She already ate." Without giving him a chance to ask more questions, she sat down. "Come on, husband. Let's eat." Chris looked at her strangely but nodded. "Alright." The two of them began eating.

Meanwhile, inside Samantha's office, the atmosphere had become painfully awkward. Faith was still standing there. The image of Sarah opening the door kept replaying in her mind. After a long silence, she finally looked at Samantha. "It seems the only thing I'm good at is causing trouble for you." Her voice was filled with guilt. "I'm sorry." Samantha was still trying to figure out how she would explain everything to Sarah. After a moment, she nodded faintly. "It's okay." She sighed softly. "It already happened." Faith lowered her head. "Thank you." Without saying another word, she turned around and left.

On the drive back to Lucia Goods, Faith couldn't stop smiling. The regret that had haunted her the previous night had completely disappeared. She touched her lips lightly. "Does she like me?" A smile appeared on her face. "She didn't push me away this time." Her smile widened. For the first time, she felt hopeful. Then another thought suddenly appeared. "What will Director Alicia do if she finds out?" Her hands tightened around the steering wheel. "What if she removes me from the group?"

Her expression immediately became worried. A second thought followed. "Wait..." "Mrs. Wood is married." Faith froze. "What if her husband finds out?" "What if he comes after me?" One troubling thought after another filled her mind. Yet despite all of them, she couldn't bring herself to regret what had happened. Not even a little. She touched her lips again and smiled. "Mrs. Wood's lips are so sweet." Then she continued driving.

Back at Wood IT Company, lunch felt unusually awkward. Inside Sarah's office, Chris spent most of the time talking and joking as usual. Unfortunately, Sarah barely heard a single word. Her mind was still trapped inside Samantha's office. Chris eventually noticed. He grinned. "Wife, what's wrong with you today?" Sarah blinked. "What?" Chris pointed at her. "See?" "This is exactly what I'm talking about." "You've been somewhere else this whole time." Sarah smiled apologetically. "I'm sorry, husband."

Wanting to avoid further questions, she quickly changed the topic. "I was thinking..." She paused. "I'm almost due to give birth." Chris nodded. "So?" Sarah smiled softly. "We never discussed our child's name." Chris immediately laughed. "Why would we name my daughter before she arrives?" Sarah frowned. "What do you mean?" Chris continued laughing. "What if we bring bad luck?" Sarah nearly choked. "What bad luck?" Chris stood up. "Ask your mother if people do that." He stretched his arms. "I'm full." "I'll finish my work before we head to Lucia Goods for training."

Sarah nodded. "Okay." Chris leaned down and kissed her forehead before leaving. The moment he was gone, Sarah's smile disappeared. She stared at the food on her desk without touching it. Her thoughts immediately returned to Samantha. A few minutes later, a knock sounded. Before she could respond, the door opened. Samantha walked in. The moment Sarah saw her, she stood up. Without saying a word, Samantha rushed forward and hugged her tightly. "Sister..." Her voice cracked. "I'm sorry."

Tears immediately began falling from her eyes. Sarah froze. For several seconds, she didn't know what to do. Eventually she placed a hand on Samantha's shoulder. The room became quiet. After a while, Samantha spoke again. "I don't know what happened." She wiped her tears. "Please don't tell Mom, Dad, or Ben." Sarah slowly pulled away and looked directly into her eyes. "What do you mean you don't know what happened?" Her voice became firmer. "I clearly saw you kissing." "You are married to my brother, Samantha."

Samantha lowered her head. "I know." Tears continued flowing. "But, Sister..." She took a shaky breath. "You know how lonely I've been." Sarah remained silent. "You know I never truly loved Ben." "I stayed because of Monica." She wiped her eyes. "When Faith kissed me..." Her voice became quieter. "It made me feel things I had forgotten a long time ago." Sarah turned and looked out the window. For a moment, neither woman spoke.

Then Samantha continued. "Sarah, please." "I'm begging you." "Don't tell Mom, Dad, or Ben." Sarah closed her eyes. Then she slowly turned back. "What were you thinking?" "What if it wasn't me who walked into that office?" "What if it was someone else?" Samantha shook her head helplessly. "I don't know." Sarah sighed deeply. "I understand you've been lonely." She paused. "But what I don't understand is this." Her eyes narrowed slightly. "Are you attracted to women?" "Are you a lesbian now?"

Samantha immediately shook her head. "Sis, I don't understand it either." She sat down across from Sarah. "Please." "Let me explain everything." Sarah stared at her for several seconds. Finally, she sat down. Crossing her arms, she looked directly at Samantha. "Fine." "I'm listening." Samantha's hands were clasped tightly together, and for the first time in years, she looked completely lost. Finally, Samantha took a deep breath. "Sister... this all started yesterday." Sarah stared at her. "What?" she asked sharply. "So you really are cheating?"

Samantha immediately shook her head. "No. At least... I don't think so." Sarah frowned. "You don't think so?" "Sister, please let me explain everything first." Sarah crossed her arms and leaned back in her chair. "Fine. Explain."
