C4 The Final Exam Results

Whenever I had free time, I would visit internet cafés, connect to their Wi-Fi and spend hours watching tutorials about computers, programming and hacking.

I didn’t realize it then but those late nights in front of a screen shaped the rest of my life.

While the rumors continued to spread around school, I paid little attention to them. I had bigger things to worry about.

Every day after school, I spent hours studying and teaching myself new skills on my laptop. I watched tutorials, practiced programming and learned everything I could about computers.

While most students were enjoying their free time, I was busy building a future for myself.

When the final exam results were released, something unexpected happened. I lfinished at the top of my class.

For the first time in my life, I felt proud of myself. Unfortunately, not everyone shared my happiness.

Ben took the results badly. Instead of accepting that I had worked hard, he told his parents that I had stolen one of his textbooks before the exams.

According to him, that was the reason his grades had dropped. The accusation was completely false.

Christopher couldn’t believe what he was hearing. He confronted Ben and tried to make him tell the truth, but it was already too late. Ben’s parents had already informed my parents about the story.
