C432 I Will Play Games With Mommy
At the Wood Residence, everyone was surprised to see Sarah and Samantha returning home, with Chris following behind them. Monica was the first to notice them. “Mama! Mama!” Samantha immediately rushed toward her daughter and pulled her into a tight hug. “My child, I am back! I missed you so much.” She lifted Monica into her arms and carried her around the room, tears filling her eyes. Sarah was no different. She excitedly picked up Tristan. “Son, have you been good to your grandparents?” She looked toward the others. “Did he cause any trouble?” For a moment, everyone in the house remained silent. They were surprised by the sudden return of the three of them, but even more surprised by the military clothes they were wearing.
David was the first to speak. “Son, you are back.” Chris laughed. “Father, I am a grown man now. Look at me. I am a die-hard soldier.” Valeria smiled as she hugged him. “You haven't changed.” Tracy stood up from her seat. “Sarah, Sam, you are all back?” Sarah nodded. “Yes, we have finished our training.” Tracy looked at Kelvin. “They're safe.” Kelvin, however, was still examining the military clothes they were wearing. “Should we still call you by your real names, or are you using your strange code names for good?” The three exchanged looks. Sarah shrugged. “I don't know.” Kelvin patted the seat next to him. “Sarah, my child, come sit down. Tell us everything.” Valeria nodded eagerly. “I also want to hear everything. Come on, tell us.” Sarah smiled. “Sam said she would be the one explaining everything.” Samantha immediately froze. She slowly shook her head. “Sarah, you are doing this again.” Chris quickly supported Sarah. “She was nagging the entire journey home, saying she wanted to tell everyone.” Samantha shook her head in disbelief.
Before she could respond, Ben entered the room. For a moment, he froze. The people standing before him looked different from the people who had left three months earlier. Their posture, confidence, and military clothing made it clear that something significant had happened during their absence. Nevertheless, he greeted everyone. “Good evening, everyone.” He walked over and sat down. “Everyone is back?” Tracy smiled. “They just arrived.” Ben looked at Monica, who was still in Samantha's arms. “Monica, you're not sleeping with me tonight?” Monica firmly shook her head. “No. My mother is back. I will sleep with Mommy. I will play games with Mommy.” A warm smile appeared on Samantha's face. Kelvin looked at the three returning soldiers. “So, are you returning for good, or will you be going back again?”
Chris answered confidently. “We have finished training. Now it is time for the real fight.” Everyone immediately went quiet. Chris smiled. “Samantha will tell you everything. I am going to take a shower.” He picked up Tristan and began walking toward the door. Valeria called after him. “Chris, wait until we hear the story. Then we can all go back together.” But Chris continued toward the Chambers Residence next door. Sarah paused. “Chris, I want to spend time with Tristan as well.” Chris laughed. “Then follow me.” Sarah looked at everyone, then toward the stairs. Before she could move, Tracy interrupted her. “Don't even think about it. First, tell us what happened. And what did he mean by a real fight?” Samantha took a deep breath and tried to calm herself. “We trained for two months. We went through different types of training, shooting, hand-to-hand combat, survival exercises, and working together as a team. We even went hunting.”
Sarah quickly added. “There wasn't even a proper bathroom there. We had to run two kilometres to the river to shower and then run all the way back.” Everyone stared at them. Samantha continued. “We trained hard. Then Alicia's cousin sent a team to kill us.” The entire room froze. Even Ben looked stunned. Sarah immediately tried to warn her. “Sam...” But it was already too late. Samantha was no longer shy. She continued without thinking too much about their reactions. “We killed them all.” Kelvin nearly choked. “What?” Tracy stood up. “You killed people?” Samantha remained calm. “Sarah was weak at first. She froze in front of the enemy, and Alicia killed the man who was about to attack her. Anyway, we finished our training.” Kelvin shook his head. “Why are you talking as if killing someone is something easy?”
Samantha laughed nervously. “Well, we did it. But we couldn't sleep that night.” David looked concerned. “So now you have another enemy?” Sarah quickly interrupted. “It is Alicia's personal matter. I don't know why Sam is telling everyone about it.” She looked around the room. “But yes, that family is our enemy. Alicia's cousin went back to war, which is why we are using this opportunity to return home to kill Willy Harris.” Kelvin choked again and spilled some of the tea he was drinking. “To kill Willy Harris?” Sarah nodded. “Dad, you all don't know?” “Know what?” Kelvin asked. Sarah took a deep breath. “Willy Harris knows that we faked our disappearance.” Ben immediately interrupted. “I knew it. I warned you all.” Sarah continued. “He even chased after Police Minister Mark Mooney. Mark was injured, and Alicia decided that we had to face Willy head-on before he could think about attacking any of our families.”
Valeria looked confused. “What is going on? Mark Mooney was attacked?” Samantha nodded. “Yes. But you will know everything tomorrow. Right now, we need to take showers and rest.” Tracy looked at them. “Aren't you going to eat first?” Sarah and Samantha shook their heads. “No, we are exhausted.” They headed upstairs. For the first time in months, the Wood family finally had their daughters home. But the happiness of their return was mixed with the growing realisation that the two young women who had left were no longer the same. When we returned to the Mooney Residence, Alicia immediately rushed toward her father. “Dad, where can I hire a boat? We need one quickly.” Mark laughed. “How would I know? Go to the coast. There will be people there who can help you with that.” Alicia shook her head. “Dad, can you organise it for us? We need it early in the morning, around five.” Mark looked at her carefully. “What is going on?” “You said you wanted to be there, right?” Alicia replied. “Inform your team. We are going to raid Willy's place tomorrow morning.”
