C444 Do You Want To Avenge Your Uncle
At the Wood family residence, Sarah and Samantha were already sitting at the dinner table when Ben finally returned home. Sarah looked up as soon as she saw him. “Brother, I have always wanted to ask you something.” Ben pulled out a chair. “What?” “Why do you always come back so early?” Ben looked at her. Sarah continued, “Isn't the club busy? Who is taking care of everything when you leave?” Ben smiled. “My assistant.” Sarah giggled. “What? You found yourself a Natalie version two?” Samantha suddenly choked on her drink. She coughed several times, trying not to laugh. Tracy also coughed, though it was clear she was trying to hide a smile. Ben, however, remained completely still. “No.” He sat down. “She is helping me because it's part of the contract.” Sarah raised an eyebrow. “So you won't sleep with her like you did before?”
The table immediately became quiet. Ben didn't answer. Instead, he pulled his chair closer to the table and began eating as if he hadn't heard the question. Sarah giggled again. Samantha looked away, trying not to laugh. Ben finally looked toward her. “Wife, you only trained for two months. How did you become so strong?” Kelvin, who had been listening quietly, looked at Ben and then at Samantha. He frowned. “Ben, what are you talking about?” Ben put down his fork. “Dad, Sarah and Samantha dealt with the two people who were causing trouble at the club.” Tracy looked at Sarah. “My child, you cannot go around beating people just because you trained.” Sarah smiled innocently. “Mom, I don't know what he's talking about.” Samantha laughed. “If we knew what he was talking about, we would have told you the moment we came back.” Sarah nodded seriously. “Exactly.” She then looked at Ben. “I'm probably drunk. I think I'll go and rest.” She stood up. Samantha immediately followed her.
As they began walking toward their rooms, Ben called after them. “I wanted to thank you again for helping me.” Samantha turned around and smiled. “It is our club too. We wouldn't have let anything happen to it.” She then followed Sarah upstairs. The moment they disappeared, Kelvin frowned. “Wait.” He looked at Ben. “So something did happen?” Ben smiled. “What happened? Why aren't you telling us?” Tracy also looked at Ben. “Ben, tell us what happened.” Ben leaned back in his chair. “They had a meeting with their friends. But before they arrived, Antonio and Steve were planning to attack the club with a group of local thugs.” Kelvin's expression changed.“How many?” Ben smiled. “About thirty.” Tracy's eyes widened. “Thirty?” Ben nodded. “And the eight of them dealt with all of them.” Kelvin stared at him. Ben laughed. “I've never seen anything like it.” Tracy looked confused. “You mean Sarah and Samantha were involved too?”
Ben shook his head in disbelief. "Yes." “The two of them dealt with Antonio and Steve themselves.” Kelvin slowly leaned back. “I thought they had only been training for two months.” Ben laughed. “I'm sure Antonio and Steve will never set foot in my club again.” Then Ben's smile faded slightly as he remembered what he had witnessed. “Mom…” Tracy looked at him. “Sarah broke Antonio's arm.” Tracy's mouth fell open. “And Samantha beat Steve so badly that the poor man actually wet himself.” Kelvin and Tracy exchanged shocked glances. “They're very strong now,” Ben added. For several seconds, neither parent said anything. Finally, Kelvin sighed. “I'll ask them about it in the morning.” He looked toward the stairs. “But for tonight, everyone should rest.” Tracy nodded. The family slowly returned to their dinner. But Ben couldn't stop thinking about what he had seen. His younger sister was no longer the same girl he remembered. Neither was Samantha. And he was beginning to realise just how much those two months of training had changed them.
Early the next morning, Charlie woke up with one thought on her mind. She needed answers. She remembered the card Hanna had given her the previous night. For several minutes, she stared at it. Then she made her decision. She would go. Alone. Charlie left her home and travelled to the hotel. When she arrived, she went to the reception area and asked them to inform the person leaving in this room that she had arrived. She was told to wait. Hanna was still asleep. Charlie sat down and waited. One hour passed. Eventually, Hanna woke up. She refreshed herself and left her room. Destroyer followed her. The moment Charlie saw them, she stood. “Good morning.” Hanna looked at her. But something was different. The polite woman Charlie had met the previous night was gone. There was no warm smile. No gentle voice. No attempt to make Charlie feel comfortable. Instead, Hanna looked cold. Her expression was almost frightening. Charlie immediately understood that the woman standing in front of her was far more dangerous than she had appeared the night before.
Hanna simply gestured toward the exit. “Come.” Charlie followed. Destroyer led them outside. He drove them away from the busy parts of the city and toward a quieter location. Hanna had already arranged the place. It was isolated enough that nobody would accidentally interrupt their conversation. They eventually stopped. Charlie stepped out of the vehicle. The three of them entered the quiet location. For several moments, nobody spoke. Hanna sat opposite Charlie. Destroyer remained nearby, watching silently. Finally, Hanna broke the silence. “Charlie.” Charlie looked at her. “Do you want to avenge your uncle?” Charlie didn't answer immediately. Instead, she asked the question that had been troubling her since the moment Hanna arrived at her house. “Did Alicia Mooney and Michael Smith kill him?” Hanna smiled. “Charlie, I will tell you the truth.” She leaned slightly forward. “Alicia and Mike have become cruel. They are no longer the same people you once knew.” Charlie remained silent. “And yes,” Hanna continued, “they killed your uncle.” “But there is no evidence proving their crime.” Charlie's eyes widened. Hanna watched her carefully. “Why did you think it was them?”
Charlie took a breath. “The day before my uncle was killed, Alicia Mooney and Michael Smith came to my house.” Hanna listened. “They were asking questions about him.” Charlie shook her head. “And they were wearing strange military clothes.” She looked directly at Hanna. “I didn't understand why at the time.” A pause followed. “But now…” Charlie swallowed. “You've just told me they killed him.” Hanna smiled. “So your suspicion was correct.” Charlie stared at her. Hanna leaned back. “That brings us back to my earlier question.” She spoke slowly. “Do you want to avenge your uncle?” Charlie looked at Hanna for a long moment. She didn't know whether to trust the woman sitting across from her. But she knew one thing. Hanna knew things that nobody else seemed to know. Finally, Charlie asked the question that mattered most. “Who are you?” Hanna remained silent. Charlie continued. “And how do you know Alicia and Michael?”
