Alexander raised a brow at the lady who just walked into the room and then turned back to his drink.

“Xander, baby,” she sang, beaming. She walked up to him and settled on the sofa beside him. Alexander was unmoved. “Why so quiet? Tell me you're not excited to see me and I'll know you're lying."
