Jeri arrived home, tears streaming down her cheeks. She banged on the door several times until Sophia opened it.

Immediately the door was opened, Jeri pushed Sophia aside and dashed into the house. She threw her purse to the ground and collapsed on the couch, palms clasped against her face.

“What happened, Jeri? I was expecting good news, not this," Sophia said as she sat beside Jeri
