C1 Cristantino's girlfriend

"Make peace with your brothers; especially your twin brother Silas and do not let your need for revenge cloud your common sense" Alejandro remembered the last thing his dying uncle Benjamin told him as he drove to his office. His uncle had requested him and his brothers presence at his villa as he had something to tell them before he joined his ancestors. He had no vivid memories of his uncle Benjamin, he only knew him to be his uncle.

Alejandro felt somewhat guilty because even though he nodded at his uncle's request, he wasn't sure to fulfill it. He and his five brothers; Tomas, Francis, Juan, Dario and Silas were estranged from childhood. His parents got divorced at his young age of five and he and his brothers got adopted by their different uncles. Since then it's been indifference and preoccupation between him and his brothers. He only met them once during the different times of their parent's funeral and they didn't utter a word to eachother then and even now. It was all awkwardness and office work between all of them.

Alejandro never even shared any bond with his twin brother Silas. Their relationship as twins was just like their relationship with the rest of his brothers.

So he didn't know if he could ever make peace with them or maybe time would tell.

Alejandro got down from his car and left his security guards to pack it well for him.

Then he went into his company. As usual, there were employees who stood parallel to him and paved his pathway as they all bowed their heads in acknowledgement.

His secretary Padma followed him behind to his office. "Update!" He requested as he walked

"There's good news and there's bad news" Padma said

"Start with the bad one" he said

"Miguel Cristantino snagged three of the investors to himself" said Padma

"Damn it!" He swore in frustration

"The good news is that you have one investor left"

He scoffed. Miguel Cristantino was at it again. Making a mockery of him and snatching his investors. Not like Miguel didn't have a sizable amount of investors, he just wanted to cause unnecessary trouble and stir up a fight with him.

He and Miguel Cristantino had been business rivals for as long as he could remember. He didn't know how it started, all he knew was that Miguel Cristantino was his foe and his adoptive father had always thought him to vanquish his foes.

It seemed Miguel was winning this time but all Alejandro needed was a regroup and a clap back. One that Miguel Cristantino wasn't going to recover from.

"Send some men to monitor his movements. I need a leverage on his weakness" he said

"Yes sir " Padma replied

The next day, Padma came back with a file containing some information

"Sir, here's what the boys gathered" he said as he handed Alejandro the file.

In it contained a picture of a woman coming out of Miguel's car and some information about the situation.

"What am I supposed to do with this?" He asked in confusion.

"According to my source, Miguel Cristantino meets with this woman twice we every week"

"For what reason" he asked

"It's unknown for now"

He glared at Padma. He had given him an instruction to dig dirt on Cristantino not show him the picture of a woman. What was he supposed to do with this now?

Well, Alejandro had known Cristantino enough to know that the man didn't do dates. At least not in public places. So if he met with this woman in a place where he was caught on camera, then she must be a special person to him.

As Alejandro put two and two together, a superb idea struck him.

He wanted revenge on Miguel. A clap back at the man for making a mockery of his efforts so any evil ploy could do.

He planned to take what belonged to Miguel, just this once and the perfect opportunity to do so presented itself.

He checked the file that Padma handed to him and it contained information about the woman.

He smirked at Padma who still stood where he was. "Good job. You can leave now" he said and Padma nodded and left.

He opened the file and began to go through it.

The woman's name was Elizabeth Terry. Twenty six, only child, her father, Wallace Terry was sick and owed a lot of debts, her mother, Quinn Terry took care of the dad as she struggled to raise money. Elizabeth worked at a logistics firm but she still juggled a lot of part time jobs. She did the most of the jobs in secret...

Alejandro shook his head after he was done with reading. From the picture of her that he saw, she was a very beautiful lady. Now he could tell why Cristantino was in a relationship with her. But what he didn't understand was why Elizabeth couldn't ask him to settle her dad's debt and take care of his treatments if they were in a relationship. Was she scared to ask or did he refuse when she asked? Maybe they'd just started off dating and she didn't want to impose anything on him yet.

Nevertheless, they weren't going to be together for too long because Alejandro was going to take her from him.

His mind racked with ways on how to do that and he smiled as a brilliant idea struck him.

Elizabeth had just come back by late evening from work. Her day had been so stressful as it wasn't easy juggling different jobs and trying to raise enough money for her dad's treatment. Her dad needed a kidney transplant and they had found a donor but there wasn't enough money to fund the treatment or pay the donor. Her mum was trying too but it just wasn't enough and as the only child, she had to put it upon herself to take care of her family.

She went straight to the kitchen after she returned from work because she was famished. But on entering the kitchen, she saw her mum seated on one of the chairs. Her chin rested on her palm as she was deep in thought.

"Mom I'm home" she said but her mom didn't reply. She didn't even think her mum heard her. "Mom!" She called again, louder this time and her mum jolted out of her thoughts.

"Oh I didn't see you enter. When did you come back?" She asked as she forced a smile

"Of course you won't see me enter because you're so deep in thought" Liz complained. "what's the matter? Tell me what is bothering you"

"It's nothing serious, my child" her mom said

"Mom!" She protested "we promised never to keep stuff from eachother, remember?"

Her mum hesitated for a while then she said. "someone bought your dad's debts"

"What?" Liz gasped. How was that possible? Her dad owed lots of people...

"The man bought the debts from all the people your dad was owing. We are owing only him now" her mum said

"Why?" Liz asked

"I don't know..." Her mum whispered. Then gave her a business card. "the man who came today left this. His address is on it"

Alej hegde fund? That was a very renowned company. Wait a minute... Was the man who bought their debts the owner of the company?

Okay she didn't want to jump into conclusions that quickly... she was just going to wait until tomorrow where she would barge into the place and ask Mr Alejandro Gonzalez why he bought her dad's debts and what his plans were...

"Don't worry about it mum" Liv said. "I'll go first thing tomorrow morning to find out what that man wants"
