C3 Test results

Coming out of the fifth hospital with the same result, Alexis was lost in a sea of thoughts. "Are all hospitals really not as good as I thought?" she wondered, her mind racing with doubts. To clear all her doubts, she finally decided to take the test... and was dumbfounded by the results. "Holy shit! Is this the second coming of the baby JESUS? Am I the second Mother Mary? Or was I Mother Mary in a previous life?" Alexis had totally gone crazy. She did not know what to do, her emotions swinging like a pendulum between shock, confusion, and a hint of hysteria. She had only heard of situations like this in movies and fairytales, and now she was living it. She was in a daze, could not tell dream from reality.

The results said she was a month pregnant, but she had never been intimate with a guy before... "If I am truly carrying baby JESUS, is not an angel supposed to appear or something?" she thought, half-joking, half-serious.

Everything still seemed like a joke to Alexis, like she was stuck in some weird dream. She thought about getting another test in a different city, but the thought of the expenses made her cancel the idea. She felt nauseous and vomited till there was nothing left. That was when it hit her. She was back in reality, face pale. Night had fallen, rain pouring down outside, but Alexis's thoughts were somewhere else entirely.

How would her mum, who had struggled so hard for her to make her proud, react to this pregnancy? Would she be disappointed? Angry? Or would she be... supportive? The questions swirled in Alexis's head like a tornado, making her dizzy. She felt like she was on thin ice, not knowing what would happen next.

Alexis stood there, frozen in time, the rain pouring down around her like a curtain of uncertainty. What would she do next?
