Why is the ML always so cruel to the FL in almost all of the story I read here? In this one, he is mean and cruel to her as the story open. I still hope for a happy ending even though I feel like the ML don’t deserve it. I also feel that they are forgiven too soon and doesn’t get torture as much compare to the ML.
