Out of all people, it had to happen with me. Like the cliches of cliche, the elevator stopped. As I turned to Chase, the lights went off too.

"What the fuck?" I heard him curse.

"I'm going to die. I'm going to die." I chant over and over again.

"Shut up." He huffed, I felt the frown on his face
