C18 Night

The tables have turned, and no one on the spot has reacted.

Soong Yunran looked down at her and stretched out her hand to pat the collar of her chest. Her face was filled with coldness that had not been suppressed. She said word by word to her, "I hit a woman."

After saying that, she did not wait for the others to react. She picked up her school bag and walked past Jin Bei towards the exit.

This time, no one dared to block her in front of her again.

Night was about to arrive and the villa was quiet without anyone. Soong Yunran threw her schoolbag into her room and rummaged through the closet again. She found the only black hoodie jacket and changed into a pair of black pants.

Then came the black shoes.

Finally, she took out her old-fashioned phone from the drawer and put it in her pocket. She opened the door and went out.

When she went downstairs, she passed by the kitchen. She found a bottle of ice milk from the fridge and went out with it in her mouth.

In an abandoned parking lot in the suburbs of B City, the surroundings were silent. There was a patch of weeds on the surging road paved with stone steps. The half-man-tall Dog Tail Grass reflected a very faint light in the autumn night.

It was very quiet. Occasionally, the sound of a wild cat barking could be heard from the window of a broken car.

Hundreds of abandoned cars seemed to have formed an isolated island. In the center was an abandoned tube-shaped building. It seemed to be the work site of the recycling of cars. It was just that the buildings were empty and weeds were growing everywhere.

It was dark inside. In the darkness, several broken windows were dark, like a lion with its mouth wide open. There was not a trace of light in them.

In the dark, there were a few rustling sounds of human voices.

The person who came was half squatting behind a dense patch of grass. A few pairs of eyes were looking at the open space in front of the building, and his voice was so low that it was muffled.

A slightly coarse male voice said, "Boss, we've been squatting here for two hours. How come there's not even a shadow? Could there be a mistake in the intelligence report?"

There was a hint of doubt in his voice.

The man in the lead was dressed in black and had a black cap on his head. He was experienced and capable. He stared ahead without blinking and only slightly turned his head. "There are very few times when Mu Sheng's information is unreliable. Wait a moment."

His voice was very soft but somehow had a trace of dignity.

The man behind him did not dare to speak again and returned to a vigilant posture.

After a long time, the night became deeper and deeper. The fog gradually rose, and the chill was thick.

A movement finally sounded in the open space in front of him.

There was a man with his eyes covered, and behind him were two people who had obviously disguised themselves.

One of them was very tall and thin, and he followed behind the other person. His black-rimmed glasses covered his face, and his long hair was scattered all over, covering his forehead as he followed behind the two people.

To be precise, the other man held something in his hand and pressed it against the man's back, 'coercing' him to walk forward while the very tall man followed behind him.

A few pairs of feet stepped on the dead weeds and rustled. After a burst of noise, peace was restored, and what followed was human voices.

"My patience is limited. I'll give you ten minutes."

The voice was not deliberately lowered, as if it was deliberately said for people to hear. It was just that it was not clear who was talking.

The two people squatting in the dark were obviously excited. The big guy behind them could not hold back and wanted to rush out. However, he was held down by the person in front of him. He gave him a calm look before squatting back down.

He did not hear any reply.

He only heard two trembling gasps. Judging from the looks of it, it should be from the man whose eyes were covered.

Then he sneered, "You can't bear to let me cut his face twice, so you brought the thing I wanted to see me."

He heard it clearly. It should be a call.

"Jin Heng, save me!"

A loud shout followed by a muffled groan could be heard in the darkness. There seemed to be the sound of flesh rubbing against flesh, as well as the muffled sound of fists hitting flesh.

When they heard that name, the eyes of the people in the darkness lit up.

However, they were unable to communicate with each other. The two of them looked at each other and stretched their hands to their waists, ready to move at any time.

"I don't like disobedient people." As soon as he finished speaking, he groaned again.

The man said something on the other end of the phone, but he immediately hung up. His slender hand put the phone back into his pocket. The viciousness in his eyes was unquestionable. He hid behind the lens and in the darkness. No one could see the bloodthirsty coldness in his eyes.

Suddenly, an extremely loud 'bang' was heard. It was accompanied by the sound of something piercing through the air as it shot straight at the man standing there.

A bullet that was shot from afar.

In the blink of an eye, an even bigger object flew over.

It was impossible to see anything in the darkness, but that thing seemed to have grown eyes. It suddenly scuttled out from the weeds and chased after the bullet that had shot out earlier. Just when the bullet was still a meter away from the man, it was cut off.

The bullet collided with it and collided with it in pairs. The bullet shattered it and changed shape, falling into the grass.

Then there was a second sound.

A faint red light came from the tube-shaped building in the distance and flashed past.

"Boss, be careful!" Someone shouted.

The man only had time to look at the shattered rock. When the second gunshot rang out, he quickly pressed down on the person beside him and pressed him down to the ground.

The two people in the dark were already shocked. They quickly jumped out and made two empty sounds in the direction of the gunshot as a warning. They quickly moved in the direction of the three people.

There was a burst of noise. There were footsteps, rubbing sounds, dragging sounds, and the sound of wild cats being startled.

There was also a very obvious muffled sound.

The man's eyes behind the lens narrowed dangerously. This sound clearly did not belong to anyone present, but a female voice.

But he had no time to think, someone had already pointed a gun at his forehead.

"Stop, don't move, police!"

The gunshot disappeared.

The policeman with the cap turned on the flashlight of his phone and looked at the person who had just been captured.

The man didn't seem to care about his head being held down by the gun. He stood up and looked at the tube-shaped building in front of him.

Then, he casually reached out his hand, grabbed the muzzle of the gun, and pulled it down from his head.

He looked to the side.

There was no shadow of the blindfolded man.

His eyes narrowed dangerously.

"Stop, don't move, I told you not to move!" The slightly rougher man howled, but the matter was urgent. He put the phone beside his ear and anxiously ordered, "Quick, the parking lot in Gangwondo is ruined. Kin Yan ran away. Only Captain Jiang and I are there. Get over here quickly!"

After saying that, he turned to the man in the cap and said, "Captain Jiang, I will chase after him."

Actually, they all knew that there was not much hope of catching up to him, but how could they give up? They had followed this person for a long time, and it was not easy for them to come out. They had not even touched him!

Captain Jiang nodded.

Wait. When he was far away, he looked at the tall and thin man.

"Let's go to the police station for a cup of tea and have a chat." He looked at the man's eyes that were hidden behind the lens.
