C2 Han Baobao

Tao Xiaosui pursed her lips and didn't press the matter any further. As she walked toward the back yard, she muttered under her breath, "He's been running a pastry shop for more than ten years, and all he knows how to do is make a sesame seed cake."

Tao Laosan's face stiffened and he puffed out his chest as if it was a matter of course, "Who told your mother to only teach me how to make sesame seed cakes!"

Immediately after, he seemed to have thought of something and his eyes flashed with gloom as he walked towards the kitchen.

Tao Xiaosui treated the wound on her finger and walked into the kitchen. When she saw Tao Laosan smashing a big ball of dough on the table, she couldn't help but think of a great idea.

She grabbed Tao Laosan's arm and looked at him with a smile, "Daddy, our shop's business has always been quiet. Let's not make sesame cakes today, okay? Can we change to a new snack?"

"Not make sesame seed cakes?" For the first time in his life, Tao Laosan was worried, "If we don't make sesame seed cakes, what are we selling?"

"Aiya, in any case, you won't be able to sell those sesame seed cakes in the end." Tao Xiaonu waved her hand, not caring about her father's broken glass heart at all. She smiled like a little fox, "I'll teach you how to make a new kind of dessert."

"Oh? How do we do it?" Tao Laosan became interested and gave up the table.

Tao Xiaozui raised her eyebrows enigmatically and took him with her to make small doses of the dough that had already been kneaded and to bake it on the scone stove. When the bread was out, she cut it open at the waist with a knife and sandwiched some well-fried minced meat and vegetable leaves between them, and a Chinese hamburger was ready.

Tao Laosan suspiciously took one and took a bite. After chewing a few times, his eyes lit up, "Daughter, what kind of dessert is this?"

Tao Xiaozui thought for a while and suddenly covered his mouth and laughed, "This is called a Han Bao. I've seen others make it before. These noodles can be made into dozens of portions. We made it to see the effects."

"Alright, I'll make it after I eat another one!" Tao Laosan wolfed down another one before starting to make it like Tao Xiaosui.

While Tao Laosan was absorbed in his studies, Tao Xiaozui quietly took a Han Bao and walked to the counter in front of the store. He stuffed the Han Bao into the mouth of the little toad. Fortunately, the little toad's mouth was big enough for a bag. She touched the little toad's head and left.

She felt that the voice in her head wasn't an illusion. She thought that she should try to feed the little toad, in case there was a benefit waiting for her.

Back in the kitchen, the father and daughter worked together to make dozens of Han Baos. Tao Xiaozui arranged for Tao Laosan to put the Han Baos on the floor, while she found a pen and ink to write "Han Bao Baos" and hung them on the door.

A few moments later, many people were attracted by the extraordinary fragrance, but no one came forward to ask for the price. A middle-aged woman, who seemed to be well off, came up to them and hesitated as she looked at the bag. We seem to have never seen it before. This, can this be delicious? "

Tao Xiaosui rolled her eyes, picked up a steaming hot Han bag from the shop, cut it evenly into several portions with a knife, and placed them on a plate. She handed it over to the middle-aged woman, "Aunt, try it and you'll know if it's good or not."

"Ah? Then I won't be polite." The middle-aged woman smiled shyly, took a small piece from her plate, put it in her mouth, and chewed it slowly. Her eyes lit up, and she took a piece of silver from her pocket. Give me five!"

When the others saw that they could taste it first, they all reached for their plates, and when they were done, they all looked as if they hadn't had enough.

Tao Xiaosui sat behind the counter with a small wooden box covered with a thick layer of copper coins in her arms, happily counting the silver coins. She reached for Toad's mouth while Third Brother Tao ran excitedly to the back of the kitchen.

When he took his hand back, there were three round dan beads in his palm. They were dark and had a strong smell of medicine.

She hurriedly went back to her room and found a porcelain bottle. She locked it in the bottom of the dressing table. She had to hide such a good thing in case she needed it.

Her cheap father was a mystery, and though he had been a coward for more than a decade, from the way he had beaten her that day, she had the feeling that he was not ordinary, or she would not have let him fight alone.

Because the dozens of Han Baos they had prepared the day before had been robbed, Tao Xiaosu and Tao Laosan made hundreds of them the next day.

Perhaps it was because of the bag that had been sold the day before, but today, as soon as the shop was put on display, a crowd of customers gathered around the entrance, and in less than an hour the shop was empty.

Tao Xiaozui held the small wooden box that was filled to the brim with money and couldn't help but sigh with emotion. This was probably the power of a foodie!

There was nothing to sell in the shop, so Tao Xiaosui decided to close the door early. Just as she moved a door panel and was about to put it on, she saw a man in ragged clothes lying at the door.

She put down the door panel and ran over. She held a piece of cloth on the man's body with two fingers and turned him over. Then she reached out to check his breath and felt relieved. She got up and ran to the kitchen.

"Daddy, someone is sleeping at our door. He seems to have fainted! Go and take a look!" Tao Xiaosui pulled Tao Laosan's apron and dragged him to the door.

Third Brother Tao took a closer look and his eyes turned dark. He hurriedly looked around and picked the person up from the ground before walking to the backyard." This beggar must have fainted from hunger. I'll clean him up first. Daughter, close the door. "

"Got it." Tao Xiaosui agreed, but in her heart, she was wondering what her father meant by that. After thinking for a long time, she couldn't figure it out, so she quickly closed the door and went to the kitchen to boil hot water.

Third Brother Tao poured three pots of colorless sewage out of the door before he wiped the sweat from his forehead and came out, muttering, "Why is a fine young man so slovenly?"

"Clean up? I'll go take a look." Tao Xiaosu walked out of the kitchen and headed towards Tao Laosan's room. As soon as she entered, she was stunned when she saw the unconscious man lying on the bed.

The man in the bed was young, with sharp features, thick eyebrows that slanted down to his temples, a high nose, and thin, sharp lips.

"Dad, why isn't he awake yet?" Tao Xiaosui used two fingers to pinch the man's jaw and turned his head from side to side. She raised her eyes and looked at Tao Laosan, who had appeared at some point in time.
