C4 .

Khushi's POV

.

.

.

After his shocking revelation, I tried to consult the doctor on account of his memory loss.

"In some cases, things like this happened due to sudden mental trauma that affects the brain leading to temporary or permanent memory loss", the doctor informed me, making my eyes widened and my mouth fell half-open. I was looking for words to speak.

"And now you have to look after him very cautiously as patients after suffering such physical and mental trauma got irritated at very small things. And if not taken care of properly, chances are might high that he slipped into depression", the doctor advised me, detonating one more bomb on me.

" What are the expected chances of his early recovery and becoming fit and fine again?", I asked the doctor, impatiently.

"Well, after seeing today's miracle, where we lost all our hopes of regaining his consciousness back, he finally opened his eyes today. Chances are high that if we look after him properly he might get back his memory very soon", the doctor answered back.

" But being a doctor, it's my duty, I must not keep you in dark, maybe he never regains his memory", the doctor informed, dropping another bomb on me.

After leaving the doctor's cabin, I got lost in my own world of thoughts, where both my angel side and devil side were waiting for me to had a serious discussion about what to do about that Mr Stranger.

The conversation goes like this ;

Angel side (😇) - We should help him after all there is something called " humanity" that exists in this selfish world.

Devil side (😈) - It's becoming so hard for us day by day to survive and feed ourselves, then how will you bear his expenses?

Angel side - So what? You will forget your moral and ethics just for money. Sorry but you can't.

Devil side - Why not? Sometimes, being selfish is good for us.

And like this, the Angel's and Devil's Convo go further ahead leading to a war-like situation and confusing our innocent Khushi's perspective.

"Enough is enough now!", I shouted at myself, closing my eyes. And both the angel and devil got disappeared.

"So finally I decided to go with the angel side of mine", I thought in my mind.

" Yes!" I will help him and will look after him until he becomes fit and fine again.

Abeer's POV

"I was waiting for her anxiously to know about her reaction" when suddenly the door of the room opened and she came with a little confusing face and a slight smile plastered on her face as always.

"Well, it was a really tough decision for me and as we both know you had a memory loss so there would be no one to look after yourself so until your memory comes back, I will look after you and will make sure to take proper care for your speedy recovery," she told me showing off her dimpled smile.

"There was a magic in her smile, seeing her smiling showing her dimple face, soothe my eyes, relaxing my heart", I thought in my mind. That was a strange feeling, I felt because I had not felt anything like this, before.

" No!", Abeer you are not allowed to feel these strange types of feelings for a stranger, I scoffed in my mind.

"What No?", Mr. Stranger, Khushi asked, being confused.

" Oh No"! Is she a magician that can read my mind? , I thought, being worried.

"No, no I am not any magician", she responded making me shocked again.

Now, take some rest, taking too much stress at this point of time is not good for your health Mr.Stranger, she smirked at me.

And her mobile started ringing and she left without saying goodbye to me, that made me feel bad and frankly speaking, I don't have any idea why I felt so?

I am not a child, who will complain over these small things and throw tantrums.

But somewhere in my heart, I knew I was feeling bad because of her sudden disappearance.

"Maybe she ran away after listening that my memory was lost and she did not want to take over my responsibility on her shoulder anymore", I thought in my mind, resting my head on the pillow.

"Maybe this was our last meeting and she would never show her face again."
