Abeer's POV

.

.

.

"How could someone closely related to me led me in this situation?", I thought in my mind. Although, everyone thought, that it was just an accident, but only I knew the hidden truth behind that accident, that it was a pre-planned murder.

"Till now, I could not conclude who was the mastermind behind this game?", I thought, feeling restless.

"But I have to hide myself, at least for 60 days until that "ceremony", so that I will reveal the real faces of the people who pretend my close ones", my mind mocked at me.

" I know, he had put all his men behind me, searching my dead body and celebrate his or her victory." But little did he know, this celebration did not last for a long time , I thought while tossing and turning on the bed, but sleep was far away from my eyes.

"Thinking and taking too much stress, my head started aching very badly."

"I tried to close my eyes for once, to get some relief but that was of no use too", Suddenly, Khushi's smiling face showing off her dimple appeared in front of my eyes, giving an intense relief to my mind.

"There was a miracle in her smile, whenever I saw her smiling face, I forgot all my problems because she seems so familiar to me. I don't know what type of bonding was it! But I felt an unknown connection with her.

**After one week**

" As we can see, there is great improvement in your health, that is a good sign of your early recovery if things went like this smoothly then I am sure you will stand on your feet, very soon", the doctor informed me.

It has been one week now, but there was no news of her. Neither she show her face not she sent any message to me after that day. Maybe I was right, that was our last goodbye to both of us.

I tried to inquire about her, with the doctor and the nurse but they had no idea about her. All they informed me was, she paid the expenses of my treatment in advance so that there would be no hindrance in my treatment due to money problem.

Now, I really do not have any idea about that "stranger girl" personality. Was she really that kind-hearted person or there was some mystery behind her? , that I could not see.

"Sitting on the wheelchair, the nurse led me to the garden of the hospital so that I could try to walk in the hospital's garden with the help of the stick given by the nurse to improve my health and relax my mind.

But it seems so hard for me to take a single step as it started paining again which led me took zig-zag steps and I was just about to fell down when a pair of hand holds me from falling.

" I instantly opened my closed eyes, to know who saved me from falling?", and was shocked to see that dimple smiling face of hers again. I could not believe on my eyes that she in reality was standing before me.

I was staring at her for a long time, even without blinking my eyes, she was giving me an untold relief that I could not expressed in words. We shared a deep eye contact.

"Hey!" "How are you Mr. Stranger?", Khushi asked me, breaking the eye contact and then only the realisation hit me and I came back in my sense.

"And once again she saved my life, my Life Saviour, my Angel", I thought in my mind.

" No!" "No!", not again, my mind scoffed at me. Don't start again, stop praising her once again!

" I am fine", coming out of my thoughts, I replied.

"By the way, where were you from so many days?", I asked hesitantly.

"I will surely reply to all your questions but first get inside..it is getting cold outside", she replied with a slight smile on her face.

"Hmm...okay...sure", I replied.

She helped me to get back on the wheelchair and took me inside the hospital.

"Finally we reached home", she announced after coming out of the cab.

" Oops!" She lightly taps on her head and turned back only to help me, with that stick, to take me out of the cab.

Standing in front of her apartment, I sighed, the apartment was so small, I thought in my mind.

I am a person who has the habit of living in a big Mansion, even our servants, who worked for us lived in quarters bigger than this. That place looks so suffocating to me.

"But I have to manage the situation and have to survive here until that "ceremony" day". I thought in my mind.

She took so small steps, supporting me with the help of her hands, just like we used to with small babies, especially when they learn to walk properly and finally we reached her room, that ended as soon as it began, at least for me.

A small living room with an attached kitchen and a small bedroom with an attached washroom and a balcony.

"How I am going to survive for the next few days?", I sighed in my mind.

"However, I could not find any better place to hide myself ", my mind scoffed at me.

"Please make yourself comfortable here", Khushi told me, with her smiling face and helped me to sit on the couch, near to the door.

Flashback

.

.

She helped me to get back on the wheelchair and took me inside the hospital.

Shifting me on the bed, with the help of the nurse, Khushi started narrating her story, about her sudden disappearance. And by then, the nurse was gone.

" You might be thinking about my sudden disappearance from the hospital after that day", Khushi asked me, a little hesitating this time.

"I just nodded "Yes", without saying anything else.

" Did you remember that day when I was talking to you, my mobile suddenly beeped?", Khushi asked.

"Yes", I replied this time.

"Actually, that was the call from the hotel where I was doing my job, they had called to know about me because I had been missing for seven days, so they were thinking of replacing me with someone else. As it was my mistake I just forgot to inform them about this accident", Khushi told me, hesitantly.

"They were very strict people, having no feelings, no emotions."

When I informed them about this casualty, instead of offering me some help, they told me that I should get resigned from my job and spend all my time helping others.

"So, I had left with no other option but to go back to work and do overtime to earn some money so that there will be no hindrance in your treatment ", She informed with her smiling face showing off her dimple.

"I could not believe my ears when I heard her, I was just a random stranger for her yet she did so much for me", I thought in my mind.

" I still could not believe how someone has such a kind heart in today's world where people first only think about their benefit", I mumbled.

"Did you say something?", She asked after hearing me whispering.

" No" "No", I replied.

"But that was not the real problem", She said, hesitantly.

"Then what?", I asked.

"They refused to give me the advance salary and now I do not have enough money to keep you in such an expensive hospital", She said being sad.

"After listening to all her talk, I did not want to be a burden on her", I thought in my mind.

That was when I decided that I should not do the rest of my treatment by staying in the hospital, but I will have to hide myself somewhere.

"But I have a solution to this problem" She suggested.

"And what was that?", I asked.

" Why do not you get your remaining treatment by coming to the hospital whenever required, from my home until you are completely fine?", She suggested hesitantly.

"Well, that is a great idea", I thought in my mind.

"Where else would I find a better hiding place than this?", my mind scoffed at me.

"And anyway I have to pay the debt too, after all, she saved my life.", I thought in my mind.

"Umm...Okay, I nodded in Yes."
