After I saw the Wind Glyph, I calmed down, thinking that I wouldn't be able to fall down anyways, so I continued to crawl forward. When I reached Queen Mother's shoulder, the things inside the Statue gradually revealed themselves, making it seem much clearer.

So it was really just as I had thought at the beginning, the entire Queen Mother's body was empty
