C10 Adulterous Accusations

During the entire ride back; Qiu Xiyun heavily pondered over her recent predicament. She realized that most of the Yinn family relatives weren't particularly happy about her marriage to Yinn Siyan...not to mention the Yinn Group's 5% shares she received from Madame, on her wedding day...but, would they go so far as to assist Jiang Yingying in a ploy to discredit her reputation? Then she thought to herself, "Why wouldn't they; after all, someone in the Yinn family...or, at least someone close to them...was already trying to harm Yinn Siyan. So; why wouldn't I be a target of theirs?" One thing she was certain of...there was no way that Jiang Yingying could get her hands on that drug; so, someone having ties with the Yinn family had to have provided her with it....And, while Qiu Xiyun remained in deep thought; she once again failed to notice the sinister glances the driver was given her, in the rearview mirror.

When the Town Car pulled up in front on the manor; the driver was about to open the door for Qiu Xiyun to exit the vehicle, when the gardener quickly approached and whispered something in his ear. The driver nodded, and the gardener walked away; leaving just as quickly as he had arrived. Then, once Qiu Xiyun had stepped out of the vehicle; the driver immediately slammed the door shut, ran around and entered the vehicle, and sped off like 'a bat out of Hell'.

Just before arriving at the estate, Qiu Xiyun called Butler Xiao to find out if the Madame returned yet...Zhao Qiuxian had some business to attend to, and left even earlier than Qiu Xiyun did that morning...but, she hadn't; so, Qiu Xiyun decided that she would enter the manor through the servant's entrance; cutting through the kitchen. The reason for this out of the way route was simple...she wanted to avoid the remaining relatives lingering behind at the manor, since her and Yinn Siyan's wedding. Qiu Xiyun still wasn't ready to be around them alone, without the Madame being present. Not that she was afraid to face them; but. more afraid that she might engage in some sort of verbal 'all out knock-down brawl' with them without a 'referee' watching over their interaction.

The kitchen was bustling when Qiu Xiyun walked through the back door...as the kitchen staff was transitioning between finishing up squaring things away from lunch and preparing for dinner...but, almost all of the activity had stopped; with just about every staff members eyes immediately falling upon her.

This peculiarly unexpected response to her entrance had confoundingly perplexed Qiu Xiyun. She thought to herself, "What's going on here...they looked super busy when I stepped through the door; so, why are they suddenly paying so much attention on me? And; what's with that reaction, anyway? Why are they all staring at me...what's going on?"

Suddenly...Yinn Siya entered through the doorway on the other side of the kitchen; and, haughtily stared at Qiu Xiyun with a condescending smirk etched upon her mouth. Yinn Siya spoke loudly...making sure that the Yinn family relatives gathered around the dining table having some late-afternoon tea would hear her..."My, my, my; what do we have here? Looks like the 'prodigal wife' has finally decided to return...sneaking into the house like some kind of 'thief in the night'. What's this; feeling a bit guilty about something, are we?"

This was exactly the kind of scenario Qiu Xiyun wanted to avoid ...at least, avoid when the Madame wasn't around...and, other than Yinn Tianze; Yinn Siya was the Yinn family relative that Qiu Xiyun wanted to avoid the most. Although Qiu Xiangying had complained about Yinn Siya to her before; Qiu Xiyun had no idea how much of a nasty disposition Yinn Siya really had until confronting her on the wedding day. And, even though most of the other Yinn family relatives also disapprove of Qiu Xiyun, and hold some contempt towards her; just about all of them...especially the elders...keep it to themselves, for Madame's sake; only expressing their displeasure through occasional derisive glares and sneers. Unlike Yinn Siya...and; Yinn Tianze, of course...who animatedly expresses her contemptuous feelings for Qiu Xiyun aloud, via insultingly derogatory remarks beratingly demeaning comments.

Yinn Siya stepped back into the dining room; shortly followed by Qiu Xiyun. Yinn Siya snidely quipped, "Look, everybody; it's the new Young Mistress of the Yinn family...with an emphasis on 'Mistress'." Instantly, there was a momentary, murmured snickering permeating around the dining room table; immediately followed by an awkward silence, as the Yinn family relatives disdainfully scrutinized over Qiu Xiyun with judgmental eyes. Totally bewildered...and, rapidly becoming increasingly perturbed by Yinn Siyan's vague, though clearly nasty, comments...Qiu Xiyun displayed a quizzical expression upon her reddening countenance. "What do you mean by that? Just what are you trying to say, now; Yinn Siya?"

"'What do I mean?'...'What I'm I trying to say?'...I'm not trying; I am saying..." Yinn Siya reproachfully stared down Qiu Xiyun, displaying a demonstratively condescending gaze and smirk; while keeping a haughty air about her as she spoke, "Don't play dumb with me...cousin-in-law...I know you went to C University to meet up with your ex-boyfriend at the Meise Club; to see about getting back together...and; perhaps even have a sexual liaison while you were at...with your ex-boyfriend. Oh; my poor, pitiful cousin...first he had a car accident...leaving him horribly disfigured and probably crippled for the rest of his life, as well...then, while still in a coma; he's married off to an unfaithful trollop who jumped at the opportunity to finagle her way into the Yinn family for the money....But, what I don't know is...and, please; do tell me, now...do you really intend on leaving Siyan for that man; or, do shamefully plan on remaining married to Siyan; while sleeping with ex...keeping my dear, poor, pitiful cousin as your cuckold 'vegetable'?"

A wave of mumbled grumbling and hushed whispering emanated throughout the room; as the already disgruntled Yinn family relatives disdainfully griped, while rebukingly glaring at Qiu Xiyun....with berating comments being thrown around; such as...

"Can what Yinn Siya said be true...is Qiu Xiyun really that audaciously bold as to start cheating on Siyan, right after being married? If so; she is way to frivolously promiscuous for her own good." ... "It's no surprise...just look at how unfaithful the older sister was to Siyan; quickly latching onto Tianze after the accident. These Qiu girls really are shameless!" ... "True; but, at least the other one had the 'decency' to show her true-colors before marrying Siyan. Not like this tramp; who's throwing herself at other men a couple days after her wedding ceremony. Disgusting!" ... "What was Madame thinking...allowing Siyan to be married to such an unfaithful hussy?" ... "The Qiu family truly are greedy by nature."

These hateful false accusations and perceptions about Qiu Xiyun had instantly struck major discord in her heart; and, of course... and; rightfully so...infuriated her at the same time. Those same criticizingly ridiculing relatives who beratingly looked down upon Qiu Xiyun at her wedding were once again maliciously slandering her...unjustly attacking her character and virtue.

Qiu Xiyun made it point to make a mental note of all those present at the time; with the intent on making them all pay for these outlandish, accusatorial and demeaning remarks later on. And, in order to do so...besides taking note of who was there...Qiu Xiyun had inconspicuously set her smartphone to record their conversation; recording every nastily snide comment acerbically spewed out of their 'venomous' mouths.

Qiu Xiyun maintained a clear, guilt-free conscience throughout the barrage of slanderous accusations; knowing deep down in her discorded heart that she had done nothing wrong, and was completely innocent. She had been true and faithful to Yinn Siyan all that time; and, would remain so for the rest of their lives...and, she vehemently told herself that these people will be sorry for saying otherwise.

What had really struck Qiu Xiyun as suspiciously strange was the fact that Yinn Siya had someone known that she left earlier to go to the Meise Club at C University...and; that her supposed 'ex-boyfriend' would also be there. Qiu Xiyun began wondering to herself, "How did she know that I was going to Xu Hao's birthday party...and, that he use to 'pursue' me before? ...Wait...could it have been Yinn Siya who gave Yingying the drug to put into the glass of wine in order to make me lose control of myself, and throw myself at Xu Hao. Was Yinn Siya actually trying to set me up; and, frame me in front of the rest of the Yinn family?!"

From that moment on, Qiu Xiyun had become highly wary of Yinn Siya; and, paid close attention to her every spoken word and facial expression and gesture...waiting for the opportunity to 'catch Yinn Siya in the act'; and, discredit her in front of her family's eyes...thus; vindicating herself from all these false accusations brought about by Yinn Siya's Machiavellian scheme. Qiu Xiyun resolved to protect her honor and prove her innocence; as she firmly stood her ground, and resolutely denied those slanderously malicious accusations.

Qiu Xiyun looked at Yinn Siya with disdainfully cold-looking expression etched upon her countenance, and began to refute Yinn Siya's account of what had occurred; while speaking in a calm, unfazed manner. "There seems to be some grave misunderstanding...'my cousin-in-law'...I merely went to C University's Meise Club to attend a classmate's birthday party; and, not to have some sort of 'sexual liaison', as you put it, Siya." Qiu Xiyun paused for a moment; and, contemptuously glared at Yinn Siya briefly, before continuing, "And, although it may be true that Xu Hao had tried to pursue me during the first years at the university; to me, he was nothing more than a friend...just an ordinary friend. And; as far as our 'relationship' was concerned...it was strictly a platonic one."

Once again, Qiu Xiyun briefly paused; as she continued to coldly stare down Yinn Siya...then, impishly smirked; as she flippantly remarked, "Then again; due to some recent events that had suddenly transpired at the party...which details I will refrain from telling you about, at this moment...I suppose it's safe to say that we aren't even friends anymore." Qiu Xiyun nonchalantly shrugged her shoulders; then, walked over towards Yinn Siya...stopping with leaving only a couple of feet between them. She slightly leaned in, and undauntingly attested, "I am fully, and wholeheartedly committed to Siyan; and, have never been unfaithful to him...nor, have I ever thought about being unfaithful to him; even for a single second. So; don't go lumping me together with the rest of my family members...my heart is totally pure; and, my conscience is absolutely guilt-free. ... And, don't you dare say that I've been unfaithful to Siyan; or, accuse me of cheating on him, ever again...because; it's totally untrue."

This bold, unwavering affirmation had taken aback Yinn Siya; and, momentarily caught her off guard. She never expected that Qiu Xiyun would remain that calm and seemingly unaffected when directly confronted and accused of something as serious as adultery. Yinn Siya quickly became a bit 'mentally flustered'; as she wondered in a panicked state if she had been misinformed the other day. She frantically thought to herself, "Did the gardener mishear, or misunderstand their conversation? Was this Xu Hao person really Qiu Xiyun's ex-boyfriend...was she really considering divorcing Siyan to get back together with him? Or...were they really just friends; and, there's nothing going on between them?"

Yinn Siya started to become anxiously nervous. At first, Yinn Siya was certain, without a shadow of a doubt, that Qiu Xiyun was planning on leaving Siyan for her ex-boyfriend...but, at that moment; she wasn't so sure. Yet, regardless of whether or not Qiu Xiyun was being unfaithful to Yinn Siyan; one thing was for sure...if Yinn Siya wanted to 'save face'...she needed to find any evidence that she could that would implicate Qiu Xiyun...and, fast. So; Yinn Siya quickly began to scrutinize over Qiu Xiyun with intensely discerning eyes...eventually ending up focusing on Qiu Xiyun's lips. A devilishly mischievous smirk slowly emerged upon Yinn Siya's mouth. "Looks to me as if someone's been kissing; but, not willing to tell. Well, that's okay; because, even if your mouth remains shut...your lips are screaming out loud and clear. You two really aren't just friends; but, sex partners...I'm right; aren't I? Just admit it; you cheating slut!"

It looked as if things were about to spiral out of control; so, Butler Xiao...who had recently entered the dining; and, caught the last few bantered remarks between Qiu Xiyun and Yinn Siya...quickly stepped aside for a brief moment to call the Madame of the Yinn family, and apprise her of the situation.

Meanwhile...that viciously disparaging, uncalled-for 'cheating slut' insult had instantly infuriated Qiu Xiyun; and, she indignantly glared at Yinn Siya with intensely piercing eyes...looking as if daggers were being flung from them...as her complexion quickly turned to a dark beet-red shade. At first, Qiu Xiyun had no idea what she was talking about; but, when she suddenly realized how intensely Yinn Siya was focusing on her lips with discerningly scrutinizing eyes, it dawned on her like an epiphany.

Because she had been in a restless state the night before...unable to sleep very well...Qiu Xiyun decided to pass some of that time by passionately kissing Yinn Siyan...perhaps a bit too passionately; causing her lips to become a bit swollen, raw, and chapped. Unlike her wedding night, however, Qiu Xiyun wasn't under the effects of the aphrodisiacal drug; and, was totally cognitive and in control of herself.

In the eyes of just about everybody else...when they look at Siyan...all they see is a horribly disfigured car accident victim. But it's different with Zhao Qiuxian and Qiu Xiyun. When the Madame of the Yinn family looks upon Yinn Siyan; all she sees is her dear, precious grandson. And; as for Qiu Xiyun...she's able to look beyond the deformed features and the scarred, charred flesh; and sees the handsome man who had enchanted her since they were teenagers.

Qiu Xiyun had a severe, secret crush on Yinn Siyan ever since their high school days; with him being the 'senior' she was infatuated with. Truth be told...she was rather jealous of Qiu Xiangying when she started dating Yinn Siyan; and, was nearly devastated for a brief while when she found out that they were engaged...and, was totally outraged when she learned that Qiu Xiangying was cheating on Yinn Siyan with his younger brother, Tianze. And; despite that when she first learned that she was to take Qiu Xiangying's place in the marriage, Qiu Xiyun was a little angry over the idea of them placing her into an arranged marriage without discussing it with her; deep down, she was happy to be able to marry Yinn Siyan...whom she had liked for so many years.

There was a moment of tension-filled silence; as Qiu Xiyun didn't bother to respond to Yinn Siya's defamatory allegations. She refrained from explaining that her lips were in that condition from her kissing Yinn Siya the night before; because she felt it wasn't any of their business. Besides that, they had much such a commotion of her having intercourse on their wedding night; despite the fact that she had been drugged, and had no self-control. She couldn't start to imagine how they might have reacted had they known that she voluntarily kissed him passionately while not being affected by an aphrodisiacal drug...that she did it willingly; while all the time being self-aware of her actions. And, of course; because she failed to immediately deny those allegations...

The Yinn family relatives began throwing at beratingly belittling comments about Qiu Xiyun, and her family.

"As shocking as it may be; it's really no surprise. After all, she took advantage of Yinn Siyan on their wedding day...basically raping him...so, I wouldn't put it past someone as desperately horny as that to have sex with other conscious men, as well."

"Exactly...I still can't conceive how she ever managed to pleasure herself with a comatose 'vegetable'; but, surely she wouldn't pass up the chance to mess around with someone who would be actively responsive to her sexual advances."

Standing off to the side...surprisingly maintaining his silence...Yinn Tianze was enjoying 'the show'; displaying a demonstratively satisfied, contemptuous smirk upon his countenance. He gave Yinn Siya an approving nod; and then, she 'added more fuel to an already roaring fire'. "Come now; everyone...it's as Uncle mentioned...this really shouldn't be that much of a surprise; especially when you look at how her sister, Qiu Xiangying, had treated her relationship with Siyan. And; let's not forget...even her stepmother, Lin Mi, was her father's mistress before marrying him after her birthmother died. If you ask me, all these women from the Qiu family are shamelessly coquettish and licentious; with no shred of decency or pride among them...nor any semblance of faithfulness or loyalty in their relationships. It's clearly obvious that Qiu Xiyun was bound to cheat on my poor, dear cousin, so or later...I just didn't expect her to be audacious enough to do it so soon after their wedding."

Although Yinn Siya's harshly defamatory remarks may have had some merit in regards of her stepmother and stepsister; they were unfairly unjustified and totally unfounded in Qiu Xiyun's case...who had been true and faithful to Yinn Siya; and, lived an innocently virtuous life, abstaining from premarital sex....Essentially; she had remained a virgin until her wedding night....Unfortunately, she had been wrongly 'lumped together' with her stepmother and stepsister; and, was judgmentally looked upon by most of the Yinn family as also being an opportunistic, 'lustful slut'. And; the one who had been slandering them the most was Yinn Siya...who took gratuitous pleasure in stirring up trouble and 'fanning the flames' between the Yinn and Qiu families. So, because of that; just about the entire Yinn family always looked down upon the Qiu sisters and their mother...and; had long been dissatisfied with them. In fact, if it wasn't for the fact that Yinn Siya had been 'bewitched' by Qiu Xiangying...in the Yinn family's opinion...they'd have nothing to do with the Qiu family, if possible.

Those maliciously slanderous remarks had painfully 'cut like razor-sharp knife to the very core of her heart'; instantly enraging Qiu Xiyun, as her entire psyche was inundated with overwhelming discord. Her complexion quickly darkened to that deep, beet-red shade; as she fiercely glared at Yinn Siya, and snapped, "I'm not...nor will I ever...cheat on Yinn Siya! He is my husband; and, the only man that I'll ever love! So, you better watch that vile mouth of yours; and, stop spewing those slanderous lies about me!"

She paused for a brief moment to try and quickly compose herself; then reminded Yinn Siya, "Remember, Siya; I am your cousin-in-law, now...not to mention the Mistress of the Yinn family...therefore; you need to mind your words and attitude when speaking to me. That is, of course, unless you want me to inform Grandmother of your disrespectful insolence towards me, when she returns. Or; do you hold such high regard of yourself, that aren't you afraid that she would punish you in accordance to Yinn family law?"

Unaware that Butler Xiao had already called Zhao Qiuxian, and informed her of what was going on...Yinn Siya displayed an even more arrogant smirk, and continued with her brazenly disdainful defiance against Qiu Xiyun; under the false belief that the Madame of the Yinn family wouldn't be returning any time soon. Yinn Siya believed that Qiu Xiyun had set out to intentionally make things difficult for her on the wedding day, out of spite...although it was Yinn Siya had acted out first towards Qiu Xiyun...so; she decided to take her revenge at this time.

Yinn Siya scoffed, "'Mistress of the Yinn family'; huh?...Going to have Grandmother punish me; is that so? My; aren't we overly confident in our position in the family. What...just because you're married to my cousin, now; and, Grandmother foolishly gave you five percent of the Yinn Group's shares...does that make you think that you can call the shots here?" Yinn Tianze...who up until that point had remained quiet...being the antagonistic instigator that he was; teasingly goaded his cousin. "Well...that is five percent more shares than you have; Siya." Yinn Siya sharply spun around, and reproachfully glared at Yinn Tianze; and, snidely retorted, "Whatever... does having that five percent of shares mean that this shameless trollop go out and sleep around with different guys, as she pleases?!" Then, she turned back to Qiu Xiyun; and, with a haughty air, contemptuously remarked, "Oh sure, Xiyun; you conveniently recall, and advantageously bring up your title as 'Mistress of the Yinn family' when it suits you...but; how come you didn't remember your identity and role in the family while you were screwing around, having affair?"

Qiu Xiyun's ire had skyrocketed; as the raging anger surged throughout her. Once again, she fiercely glared at Yinn Siya with intensely piercing eyes; as she indignantly snapped, "Yinn Siya!! I'm not going to tell you, again...shut your mouth; or, I'll shut it for you!...For the last time; I'm not having an affair!" There was a moment of silence between them; as Yinn Siya just condescendingly smirked at Qiu Xiyun. Shortly...while displaying a stoical expression upon her countenance...Qiu Xiyun slowly crossed her arms in front of her chest, and slowly sauntered over to Yinn Siya; then, leaned in towards her and whispered aloud in her ear, "I'll tell you what, Siya; let's forget that I'm your cousin-in-law, and Mistress of the Yinn family, for now. Speaking woman to woman...if you don't knock it off; and, keep on talking that crap, saying that I'm having an affair and cheating on Siyan...I'm going to bitch-slap that 'shit eating' grin right off your face."

Whether it was because Qiu Xiyun had kept bringing up her regaled position in the Yinn family...or; that Yinn Tianze had tauntingly pointed out that she had no shares in Yinn Group, despite being a legitimate, blood-born member of the Yinn family...essentially, openly snubbing her in front of everyone present...at that moment, Yinn Siya wasn't about to back down and drop it; but rather, tenaciously held on like 'a pit bull with its jaw clenched down, refusing to release its bite'. With every ounce of her bravado mustered up...showing no fear whatsoever over Qiu Xiyun's threat...Yinn Siya impudently challenged Qiu Xiyun. "Very well, then; if that's the case...if you really aren't cheating on Siyan, and having an affair...why don't you stop claiming that you're innocent; and, prove it?"

A brief quizzical expression flashed across Qiu Xiyun's visage; as, she raised her eyebrows. "Prove it?...Fine; I've got no problem with that...even though I have nothing to prove since I'm innocent....So; how do you suggest that I prove it? What will convince you that I'm not cheating on Siyan; Siya?"

There was another brief moment of silence; then suddenly, a huge 'Alice in Wonderland's Cheshire Cat's' smile' gradually stretched across Yinn Siya's mouth. "I know...how about this? If you really want to prove your innocence to me; then, agree to undergo a physical examination." Another quizzical expression emerged upon a momentarily befuddled Qiu Xiyun's countenance; as she asked, "A physical examination...what do you mean?"

"I mean...why don't we call for our family's personal physician to come over, right now; and, examine your body...closely examining your vagina, of course." A clearly condescending smirk quickly appeared upon Yinn Siya's mouth; as she snidely commented, "Knowing how sluttish you Qiu family women are; I'm almost positive that you haven't taken the time yet to wash up..." Her smirk became even more condescending-looking; as she continued belittling Qiu Xiyun, "Then again; perhaps we don't need an actually exam done by a doctor...instead of wasting his time, and taking him away from patients who actually need to be seen; why don't you just drop your panties here and now, and let us get a whiff of your crotch...I'm sure it probably still reeks of sex."

An outburst of uproarious laughter resounded throughout the dining room; immediately followed by a boisterous round of snickering among the Yinn family relatives and servants around the table. Yinn Tianze was especially enjoying this...being that he held just as much resentment as Siya did for Qiu Xiyun...and, he quickly delivered two emphatically 'approving' thumbs-up to Siya; who immediately once again displayed that huge 'Alice in Wonderland's Cheshire Cat's' smile' across her mouth.

Ever since Yinn Siyan was in that car accident...and, he had become comatose...most of the Yinn family had started behaving like this; brashly acting out, and showing their true-colors...that is; as long as the Madame wasn't around. Although, Zhao Qiuxian did have her suspicions of this; which was why she was going to place her trust so heavily in Qiu Xiyun from then on.

Butler Xiao was the only one present who refrained from partaking in the laughter; and, felt truly sorry for the newest addition to the Yinn family. He thought it was an utter disgrace on how Yinn Siya was treating Qiu Xiyun...not to mention how the others were going along with her disrespectful behavior, like 'a bunch of lemurs blindly following the leader of the pack off of a cliff'; while encouraging her to continue on with it...and, was mortified. But, to his surprise; when he looked over to shoot Qiu Xiyun over an apologetic...and; hopefully consoling look...it looked like Qiu Xiyun seemed to be rather amused by all this; and, was even smiling and softly chuckling.

All of a sudden...Qiu Xiyun did something so unexpectedly inconceivable, that it took them all by a surprise; and, 'threw them all for a loop'. Even Yinn Tianze...a proficiently brazen 'master of crudeness' was confoundingly shocked by this. And last, but not least; there was Yinn Siya...who was nearly 'floored' herself by Qiu Xiyun's bold response.

Without warning, or any indication whatsoever...Qiu Xiyun brusquely hiked up her dress to mid-thigh level; then, quickly reached under the dress, and pulled her panties down to her ankles. Then; Qiu Xiyun stepped out from them...completely taking them off...and, unceremoniously flung her panties into Yinn Siya's face. She proudly held her head up high in a haughty manner; and...while exuding nothing less than unwavering confidence of her innocence in her tone...resolutely goaded Yinn Siya in a taunting manner, "Go ahead; Siya...sniff them until your heart's content. In fact; why don't you lick them a little, and give it a taste. I guarantee you won't find even a hint of sex on them....But of course, if you still aren't sure after that; feel free to pass them around the room, and let everyone else smell them, as well."

As everyone stood there dumbfounded, with their mouths fully agape; Qiu Xiyun took out a flash drive from her purse. Knowing how the Yinn family was...and; their contemptuous resentment and vehement disapproving of her joining their family...particularly Yinn Siya and Yinn Tianze...Qiu Xiyun figured that they might try some underhanded scheme to try to discredit her, and convince the Madame to kick her out of the family; so, she took some pre-emptive measures to counter any potential strikes.

Luckily for Qiu Xiyun; she had a third-cousin who worked in the Security Department at C University...and, even more luckily for Qiu Xiyun; his mother was a compulsive Mahjong player...and; gambler...and; not very good at either of them. Thus; her cousin was always in need some extra income in order to help pay off his mother's debt...so, right after Jiang Yingying had urged her to attend the party to meet with Xu Hao; Qiu Xiyun made arrangements for him to burn a copy of the surveillance footage covering her every move on campus, and transfer it to a flash drive...for a sizable amount of monetary compensation, of course.
