I woke up and felt the rays of the morning sun envelope my face.

"Good morning beautiful".

Alexander said, planting a soft kiss on my forehead.

He looked dressed, and ready to go out.

"Why are you dressed so early? Are you going back to work?"

I asked, curiously.

"No honey. I'm going to the station. The Chief called, and he has a lead on Chloe's whereabouts"
