C7 Chapter 7

Leo sat on the bed with his laptop on his lap, his phones by his left and right, he had been busy since he received the call from his secretary he had so many files to sign, and he has only two weeks for him to know Maureen after the marriage and he will be back to Mr busy.

"Aaron,I can't find any feed back from Campbells Orphanage,why?"Leo asked.

"Umm Mr CEO the Orphanage has been bought by another person"Aaron said from the other side of the phone.

"That happened and you didn't tell me"Leo half yelled.

"Mr CEO I tried to tell you about it but you told me not to"Aaron said.

"shut up Aaron and tell me who bought it"

"I'm so sorry Mr CEO but the identity of the buyer is hidden"Aron said.

" Jeez! I will be back in two weeks time just get everything I need ready. You know I hate being tardy."

"Yes Mr CEO"

"Who could be this mysterious person that bought the orphanage"

Leo kept on working from one file to another from one document to another, he deals with so many brand of business.

He moved from the bed to the reading table and back to the bed, his eyes were becoming weak but the work the work instinct in him won't let him.

He stood up pacing the room to and fro with his phone in his hand.

His companies are making lots of gain and that's making him more busy day after day.

Finally his eyes were too tired to give into the will of work, he closed his laptop kept it back on its rightful position.

He took little and quiet steps to the kitchen it's been long his went into this kitchen,he walked to the fridge brought out a bowl of cappuccino ice cream, he made three scoops in his bowl, with some toppings.

Leo sat in his bed enjoying the icecream, he licked the icecream in haste Leo loves sweet things, he believes that eating sweet things makes you sweeter and more happy.

He placed the bowl on the bed side table, picked up one side of the duvet and covered himself.

Though he was sleepy he couldn't sleep well cause he kept thinking of Maureen, her beauty it's just to good to be real,and if she's that beautiful why isn't she a model?, why didn't she look at me straight in the eye.

Leo sighed several times,as he thought of Maureen,what would life be with her around me?

slowly he was hit by the waze of sleep and was brushed Into dream land.

in the meantime at the Daniels mansion, Maureen sat still focused on her book,after the event that took place today and the mare she had today, there's no way she could close her eyes to sleep.

she turned her back to sleeping Luna,Luna was lying with a book on her body,she slept off keeping Maureen company,the sight of Luna on the bed made Maureen glad she had a friend like her,a friend that will do anything to keep her from harms way,a friend who has always tried to cover up those emotional ,mentally and physical wound inflicted in her by that nasty bastard.

Luna promised to keep her company while she reads, they both started with a book but Luna fell asleep half way through the book.

"Father"Lilac called ,her father who is seated on the head of the dinning table.

"yes"Mr Radriel answered.

"Father , today as you know ,I , Lila,and you daughter in-law to be will be going shopping for our bridal outfit"

"Then what's the matter princess,what should I do for you"Mr Radriel said calmly,he never has to raise he voice,cause his late wife never liked it and he can never ever raise his voice on his kids.

"I just want,this to be only us three and according to Leo ,his soon to be wife doesn't want anyone to know she's getting married, so all I want is for RADRIEL MALL to be shut down to the public untill we are done shopping"Lilac said nonchalantly.

"your wish is my command"Mr Radriel said.

tommorow is the the wedding and Lilac is super excited to meet Maureen,she can't wait to see her in person.

after breakfast, Lilac and Lila went to their room changed to a very suitable shopping outfit, they were clad in blue jean gown and white clllin clan Snickers.

Mr Radriel had already ordered the mall to be shut down until his princesses are done shopping.

on the other hand Maureen just learnt she would be going shopping for her wedding and she's not at all happy about it .

"Luna ,you can go shopping for me right" she asked with a blank look on her face.

"Would love to but,it's not in my position to do that"Luna answered.

"Then I'll make Eva my secretary to do the shopping, I know, she knows what I want"

"don't you think you should be the one going,it's your place to go"

"Luna"Maureen called coldly.

"don't give me that look it doesn't work on me"Luna retorted.

"If you want I can come with you"Luna said.

"No need to come with me I'm not going Eva will go"

"common girl don't do this to yourself,I thought I told you to look out for the future.

the customer were beging to grumble,when they were just at the pick of shopping,the mall was shut down,it was beging to get noisy, and people started going out of the mall,with crumbled looks.

The few customers that were heading out watched as a black SUV ,followed by two other cars got to the front of the mall,the bodyguards from the first and last car rushed to the benz in the middle and opened it .

Lilac and Lila came out of the car,and the bodyguards,bowed immediately.

passerby that saw thought they were royalties with the way the bodyguards bowed.

in the meantime the mall manager,made the customer go through the other exist.

The door was opened by the door man and Lilac and Lila entered the mall to the VIP waiting room, waiting for their sister in-law to be to show up.

Mean while Maureen was on the phone with her personal assistant Eva.

"I will meet T-zan in some few hours tell him to wait" Maureen said to Eva on the other end of the he line.

Maureen and Luna were in back sit of the white BMW i4.

Lilac sat on the couch in the VIP room with a wide grin on her face she can't wait to see Maureen.

" when will she be here,T-zan is waiting for us"Lilac asked.

"be patient,she might have things to do"Lila said .

"Maureen's car got packed in front of the mall, Maureen bodyguards rushed to open the door then Luna came out of the car before Maureen did.

immediately the doorman so her he lost focus instead of him to open the door, Maureen bodyguard opened the door and shot the door man a Killing glare.

the manager was at the door waiting for Maureen to come so he could escort her to the VIP room as pre-informed by Lilac.

when Maureen and Luna walked in the manager could not help but send perverting glare to Maureen,which irritated her.

"Good afternoon Miss"the manager greeted.

Maureen did not reply to his greeting rather her blank eyes where glued to nowhere in particular.

Maureen tried her best to hide the burning anger in her,she was angry that she had to come out,she hates being close to people it gets her irritated but what can she do.

"Miss Radriel has asked me to escort you to the VIP room"the manager said .

"Lead the way then” Luna said.

the manager led the way to the VIP room with Maureen walking with her two bodyguards,not likes she need bodyguards she had no choice Mr Daniels gave orders to the bodyguards to watch her every move and he feels like when you have bodyguards around you, people will know your rich and acknowledge you, Maureen has no other choice but to get used to her bodyguards,and her bodyguards has also gotten used to her and now they take command from her and her alone.

it was not a long walk to the VIP room,as soon as they got to the to the door was opened by Maureen's guards,they scanned the to first before letting her enter the room.

Maureen walked inside the room to see two identical girls,one on her phone and one with a magazine.

"hi good morning" Luna greeted

''ohh my gwad she's here'' Lilac said inwardly.

lilac stood up from the couch she was seated on,moved closer to Maureen and Luna.

"hi I'm Lilac Radriel,and she's Lila Radriel,we are Leo's sister"Lilac said with a big grin on her face.

"I am Maureen Daniels"Maureen said with a very fiegn smile on her face.

"and I'm Luna......"Luna was cut short by Lilac screaming.

"Ohhh my good Luna Mayer so glad to have you with us,I'm like your biggest fan,love your music, infact love everything about you.

All along Luna knew who the twin are especially, Lilac,cause lilac is also in the modeling Industry like her.

"but how are you related to her"Lilac asked.

"Well,she's my best friend Maureen".

"oh so nice,can we start"

"yes we can Luna answered"

Lilac loved everything about Maureen,the way her shoulders were up,the way she walked with her head held high the way she talked,her grey eyes that never looked at hers,she loved the way she spoke,even if it was just few words,her voice sounds so melodious, her walking step,what she loved the most about her was her shape,her features are just so beautiful to be real, she's even envious,she looks like a goddess In her white turtle neck sleeve gown that got to her knee,her white ankle strap chunky heels,with different types of stones on it.

Why Lilac was busy starring at Maureen, Lila was observing her.

she looked at her but Maureen never looked back to her,she has no expression on her face,she didn't smile, neither did she frown, she didn't have a sad look on her face neither did she have a happy look,it was more like an unreadable look to her.

"Can we start now"Lilac asked.

"yes we can,Luna answered"

"so we would just buy what ever we want,then go to T-zan for the wedding dress"Lilac said beaming with smiles,as much as she loved shopping,she loves the feeling of shopping with someone that's a girl and is older than her,she's so happy that Luna is also here.

they went to the VIP section of the mall,the strated with the shoes,Maureen only walked while,Luna picked whatever she feels Maureen will need,she knows Maureen ,and she knows Maureen likes ankle strap heels,chunky heels and block heels and she loved all in white.

"this will look good on you"Lilac said raising a red block heels to Maureen.

"Hmm that looks good but,she don't like the colour,we will take it in white”Luna was quick to answer.

"But don't worry I will take it cause I love red"Luna said on seeing the sad look on Lilac's face.

Lilac picked some new models of shoes to add to her collection,it's been long since she went shopping on her own.

while Lila picked the few things she need.

" miss Maureen dose your throat hurt" Lilac asked like a baby.

"No it doesn't,why do you as?"goes Maureen's reply.

"well is just that you haven't said much since you arrived,and Luna has being doing all the talking since"Lilac said nonchalantly.

"Lilac why are you this......."Lila half yelled.

"well I just don't like talking".

"so your the quiet type"

"you can say that again"Maureen answered smiling.

for a moment,the smile that Luna had longed to see for the past ten years where on her face,that pure smile and within a jiffy it was gone.

Luna saw her friend smile and her entire body smiled with her,her face lit up for some moment and Luna almost cried,but within a jiffy the smile was gone,her cold look was back,her blank expressions was back,but deep down in Luna's heart she was smiling with the thought"if Lilac can make her friend smile then why not Leo"

soon after they moved to the clothes section and Maureen picked only white coloured dress,same goes for the bags, Maureen only picked things in white and it made the twin wonder"why only White"

"Let's all ride in our car to T-zan fashion house"Lila said.

"no need for that,we gat our own ride"Luna answered.

"okay then, but I just want us to get to know each other"Lila said.

"Luna it's okay we can go with them"Maureen said surprisingly shocking Luna.

soon enough the shopping was done,costumers where back in the mall, and the girls where headed to T-zan fashion house.
