C8 Chapter 8

Maureen sat to on her dressing table, facing the mirror,she sat with her usual blank face,but this time she looks more prettier,her hair packed in it's normal style ,but this time tighter and more beautiful,she had make up on,she looks so astonishing.

Luna looked at the work she had done on Maureen's face and was so proud of herself.

Maureen was dressed in a white beautiful gown,with designed with expensive lace and pearls, she looked beautiful as a bride.

" you can smile for today yunno" Luna said smiling.

Maureen only blinked her eyes at her statement and why won't she?

Today it's the day fate had played a crule game on her just like the day her mom died.

Today is a day where she enters a life time commitment without a single hope of happiness.

Today is the day where her entire world will change only by saying " yes I do"

"I know what your thinking about Maureen" Luna said.

"Your thinking about how you would cope,you don't know if this is the best game fate has given to you or the worst?

"your worried you might end up suffering not only, physical wounds again but mental wounds, emotional wounds and endless pains"Luna said as a year slid down her cheek.

Maureen only at still on the dressing stool wondering how someone would know each and everything about her and not curse her,how Luna could stand her madness,how Luna could withstand everything about her.And the perfect explanation for why Luna dose what she dose is because Luna is a true friend and always will be.

"Emily look I want you to face life with you head held high, I want you to give life a second chance,I want you to stand on your own two feet without a trace of fear"Luna said this time with her face wet.

"Emily listen time heals all wound,give yourself time to heal from this wound,and Iknow things will work out well for you"Luna said admist tears and smiles.

"I will try my best to listen to your advice"Maureen said.

"okay okay let's go I don't want you being late for your wedding"

The Radriel family were seated in the church waiting for Maureen's arrival,Leo was standing at the alter waiting on patiently for his wife to be with, while Mr Daniels was seated waiting so anxiously,he doesn't trust that forsaking daughter of his she might run away and his not ready to lose such a good offer because I if that witch.

he sat bitting his cold,wet and shaking hands praying that Maureen comes anytime soon.

"she's here she's here the doorman I'm the church announced.

soon Maureen walked in the middle of the church with a veil covering her face,she walked majestically to the alter,with a blank face and sorrowful heart.

Maureen walked to where be Mr Daniels was standing to walk her to the alter,she stoped and looked at him with all hate in her heart.

Mr Daniels strech's his hand so he could walk her to the alter.

Maureen looked at his stretched at hand and walked passed him straight to the alter with Luna following her.

Maureen walked to the alter slowly and stood beside Leo who is waiting for the wedding to be over so he can attend to his work.

at the moment his mind is only on the piled up work he has waiting in San Francisco his thinking of the things he would do wants he get to San Francisco,and how he would tell Maureen about them moving to San Francisco and how she will take it.

On the other side of the church Lila and lilac were seated watching the priest bless the couple. It was a great thing to see but because this was not how they expected their brothers wedding to be, but anyways they are still happy about the wedding.

"weare all gathered her for the wedding of our beloved son and daughter"the priest said with some other things that didn't make sense to the twin all they wanted to here was "I here by pronounce you husband and wife"

but that wasn't going to happing cause the priest took his time to talk about the wedding vows and what they meant...

"Do you Leonardo Nathan Radriel,take her Maureen Emily Daniels to be your lawfull wedded wife"the priest asked.

Leo hesitated,he looked at his sisters smiling faces then said "yes I do"

"Do you Maureen Emily Daniels,take Leonardo Nathan Radriel to be lawfull wedded husband"

"yes I do"Maureen answered bluntly.

"you can now exchange the rings"the priest announced.

Luna brought the ring closer to them.Leo his hand took the rings for the tray.

Leo looked at his father with a confused look,he knows that if he gets married to her his father will be so happy,bit his also scared,he doesn't know if he would be able to take care of her,or if she would be a good match for him,he doesn't want to end like other people who end up getting a divorce in few weeks of getting married.

Mr Radriel motioned Leo with a smile on his old face"go ahead son"he whispered.

Leo to the ring in his hand and took Maureen's hand,he looked at her face expecting to see either a happy or sad look on her face but surprisingly her face was blank no expression,he couldn't read anything from her look.

Leo took her hand looked and slowly put the ring on her fourth finger.

He kept on staring at her hand for some minutes, Lilac,Lila and Mr Radriel was surprised at the way his was looking at her hand,they thought he was looking at her ring but no he was not looking at her ring he was looking at the scar on her hand,it looked like an iron burn.

Maureen felt irritated with his hand touching her skin,it felt like a heavy load was added to her already heavy load,she hates when people touch her,she hates the feeling and everything about it.

she yanked her hand from his hand ,took the ring form Luna ,she put the ring in Leo's forth finger without wasting any time,she let go of his hands.

"you can now say your vows"the priest said.

they said the vows in a haste and soon the priest said"I know pronounce you husband and wife"
