C3 Chapter 3

Eve's POV

We arrived at a mansion, and the gate keeper came to open the gate. Mr Maya drove in and finally packed his car at the carlot. Wow there are so many cars.

He came down from the car first, was about to come and open the door for me but I did that quickly.

"Welcome to my beloved house my princess" Mr Maya said but I gave him deaf ears and looked around.

The house is big and fine indeed, it's even finer than Janet's house... I actually thought Janet house was the most expensive apartment.

"Come on in" He led the way and took me into his house.

"Whao!" I exclaimed.

I couldn't hold it anymore.

"Yeah babe, that's what I was expecting from you" He said smiling because I finally gave an exciting response.

"This is huge and beautiful" I said looking around.

"You are free to go round and check it out" He said..

I hesitated by trying to compose myself but I just couldn't hold the excitement. I ended up dropping my bag of clothes and walk around freely.

Does he live alone in this big house? It has so many rooms in it.. with his pictures on the wall.

After moving through different passages, I came out of the house to check it external parts.

"Hello, welcome" The gate keeper said to me.

"Thank you" I replied him and continue what I was doing.

I needed not to be rude to him. I doubt if he knows I'm Mr Maya's new wife.

I went to back of the house where the swimming pool was..

" Wow... This is paradise on earth!" I exclaimed as I dipped my leg into the pool, I enjoy the warmth that it gave me.

I smiled.. All this things for me.

I wish this house belongs to Dad.

We would live together happily and with mom if she were alive..

But poor me, I would start living together here with this old man.

"Hey dear, you like what you see?" Mr Maya or should I say, my old husband that I do not like even abit said to me from upstairs.. were he stood and watched me.

Okay Eve, it's high time you stop giving him cold treatment and just pretend to be happy. I sighed then looked up at him.

"Yeah I do like what I see" I said with a smile then walked back into the house to meet him.

He came downstairs also.

"You have an amazing house" I told him.

"Thank you. I have houses but this place is my main shelter" He said... And I mouthed 'Oh' and nodded.

"So do you want a room of your own or you would share the same room with me like married couples which we are" He said.

"Uhm" I faked a blush.

"Mr Maya.." I had something to say to him.

"No, no" He shook his head.

"Call me some sweet names, you know them.. My heartbeat and the likes, it been a while I heard them" He said as he came close to kiss my neck and carress my butt a little.

I resisted from him a little.

"Wait" I moaned and moved abit backward.

"What is it?" He asked me.

"We are not married yet" I told him.

"What? Why did I bring you here? Why did I give your Dad some money?" He raised his voice at me.

I closed my eyes and breath in then out as I tried not to get provoked.

"I know right. What I mean is, is there no wedding party.. and oh! I haven't even met your relatives..."

"But I have met yours, Haven't I? I gave your Dad and would still give him something way more than a bride price. Is that not enough?" He reduced his voice this time and held my hand.

"Before we left my father's place Mr Maya.." I paused.

"Oh sorry Sunshine" I tried to be romantic and sexy as I spoke with him or else he would get angry unnecessarily again.. but within me, I meant every words that came out from my mouth.

"You made mention of some people expecting our arrival" I reminded him.

"Ohh" He mouthed then scratched his head.

"Yeah??"

"Well Eve, I already told you while we were on our way. I live alone, My main wife is dead and I have two kids in college" He said.

I felt a little bit depressed when he made mention of that.

I should be in college now too.

"What are their ages?" I asked him.

"Twenty five and twenty..One. Yeah twenty one" He said and pulled me closer.

"Why do you care about their ages?" He asked me.

"Nothing" I stammered. He was too close to me, even when I move away from him, he will still come closer.

"I don't want a wedding party. I just want you" He said.

"Errmmm..." I stammered.

"We can be married without publicizing it. I got you a ring already. What else?" He brought out a small box from his side pocket.

"You want me to do it in a modern and young way? Of course, I will" He went on one kneels and opened the box..

There was a golden ring in it, he took it out and slid it into my finger.

"Now you are my wife" He pronounced... Just like that.

Just imagine.

Geez, I was boiling in anger yet I forced a smile.

"The.. the ring is nice" I said sheepishly and he smiled and stood up.

"It's over twenty thousand dollars" He said and my eyes widened.

"What?" I'mma sell this off as soon as I'm done with you.

"Tomorrow I'll get the marriage contract files you need to sign. That's the exact thing we'll do if we go to the registry" He said and I nodded.

"I prefer we do it here" He added nd I nodded.. still faking a smile.

"Now come to me.. c'mon Eve, you are over twenty. So you are not a kid any longer" He said caressing me.

He is mistaken. I'm twenty and I'm still a kid. I'm too young for him.

Well i allowed him to touch me the way he wants but when he began to pull of my clothes, I held his hands.

"What? Should we go to my bedroom?" The old fool whispered into my ears in a sexual tone.

"No.. No Mr Maya" I stammered with fears in my eyes.

"Shit!" He groan angrily.

"What is it Eve? Why are you pretending like you've never had a boyfriend?"

"No"

"Well it doesn't matter. Eve we are marrrieeeed" He emphasised furiously.

Seriously this man has anger issue... And whenever he notice I'm afraid of his attitude, he will lower his voice.

"I'm very good in bed but don't worry I would take it easy on you" He said.

What a shame.

"How many times do I have to remind you that you are now married to me. Marriage is all about having sex and being able to give it to me anytime I want it!" He added.

"Is that why you married me?" I asked him~glaring at his eyes.

"What else? I helped your family in a huge way and I promise that I'm going to do more. It's rare to find someone who would help your father just like that without collecting anything in return. And mind you, your Dad knows why I wanted you. Now It's left for you to decide whether I'll continue to help your family. You know what I mean" He said and my tears became teary.

"C'mon babe, it's not that hard..

And.. what I was only trying to explain is that.. sex is one of the reasons why I married you but you won't even let me touch you now" He touched my cheeks.

"I'mma send your Dad funds everyday, he would be fine in no time.. I'mma get you a job too" He looked at my face.

I nodded.. it's not easy to pretend that you are okay with things you are not.

I'm not comfortable with this man, let alone have sex with him. I can't give my virginity to this old fool.

There was a guy at the stairs.

Who is he? Mr Maya's son? I thought he was in college? or when did he enter? Is there another entrance door upstairs?

"Liam" Mr Maya called his name, I think.

He scoffed, "What do you mean what am I doing here? Since when did you disown me? Is this not our house anymore?" He walked towards us..

When he came closer, he looked at me from my head to toe then turned to his Dad.

"Am I not welcome here anymore?" He asked him.

"Oh no Liam. You are" Mr Maya replied.

Liam smile awkwardly then glare at me again before sitting on a couch nearby.

"When did you get back? Where did you pass through, definately not the entrance door because we ..are..here?"

"I've been around for about three hours or so. I slept off, that's why I didn't know when you came in... with your visitor" Liam said referring to me.

"I didn't see your car at the car-lot and Robert didn't tell me about your arrival"

"That's because I wanted to give you a surprise visit.. seeing you after four months or is it already six months? But you surprised me instead or are you surprised?" He smirked and his Dad went to sit in front of him.

I felt embarrassed, I didn't know what to say, do or go.

I just stood at that same spot and trembled.

"Is Mark upstairs?"

"He didn't come home with me. I'm leaving tomorrow.I only came to get somethings needed for my final project" He said.

"Oh.. are you out of cash too?" His Dad asked.

"Nah and I really can't wait to take over your company completely already" Liam said and his father smiled.

"Urrrh Dad, you are keeping your guest waiting"

Mr Maya cleared his throat.

"Liam, Okay.. please don't get me wrong. This is Eve" Mr Maya said.

"Come closer Eve" He gestured to me.

"Eve, this is my first son, Liam"

I nodded..

"It's..nice.. meeting..you" I stammered.

How the hell will I introduced myself to him as his step mom. I'm twenty and he is twenty five.

"Errmmm.. Liam, like I just said Do not get me wrong. Eve is my ......"

"Nevermind, I know who she is..." Liam glared at me then stood up and went back upstairs.
