C28 Chapter 27

"Oh, have you finished eating?" Dad asked me.

"Yes. I'll just take a breather for a while." He and Mom nodded and then went back to eating while talking about what happened that day at the ranch. It's a good thing that the conversation about what Señorito and I did today was lost because Mom and Dad were talking about something else.

The next day, because of what we often do at home, we woke up early for the day. Mom and Dad are still busy with their work at the hacienda while I'm about to go back to school and go to the hacienda this afternoon.
