C7 Chapter 6

The party, dining, dancing continued since my orchestra was arranged for this party. I didn't even notice that with the number of guests there was a line in front of our table. Everyone seems to want to meet me at my bonus because everyone is carrying a gift that they seem to want to give to me personally.

I just noticed that Mommy has been busy on her phone for a while, even when we get up for a phone call, she seems to be my problem, well I think it's just basing on her facial expression.

Until the next person in line was Mommy and Daddy's friend who talked to us.

"Hello again Hija." And then he smiled at me. I smiled too.

"Um, hi." I shyly told him.

"Your Mommy's speech for you was so touching that I even cried a little." My mouth fell open in shock and he smiled as he finally laughed.

"Selena by the way, I haven't even introduced my comrade to you yet." Daddy intervened in our conversation.

"Let me do the honor mate..." And then he extended his hand to me and then he said his full name.

"I am Martin Imperial."

"Nice to meet you."

"Let's have my pleasure too, Hija. It's a pity that I can't find my naughty son, his name is Marco. I would like to introduce you."

"It's a shame, but the party will take a long time, so it can be later when you're still here."

"Oh, sure that's perfect!" He told me and then he handed me a paper bag that he and his family gave me. He is also the last guest in line that we entertained because the half part of my party is about to start which is the eighteenth roses dance.

Before I went on stage I even heard the Mommy say that -

"Kenzo can't make it, Marga had given birth an hour ago."

"Miss?" The escort even called my attention. I also stopped going up to the stage.

Marga's really good at running my day, with the dynamic number of days of this year, I don't understand why she has to give birth on my birthday! I hate her so much! Kenzo can't make it here because Marga... and their daughter need him and no matter how hard I try to not get hurt, nothing happens, this is how fast my heart beats fast again because of the pain way. What am I against? I'm just a brother, isn't that his wife and child? Next, I swallowed hard to stop my tears from falling. It's a shame that my make-up will be ruined, but the make-up artist said earlier that it's waterproof, so it's okay if I cry.

Maybe they won't notice if I cry now because I'm hurt, right? For sure everyone will think that I am crying because I am happy. And the other disappointing thing is Kenzo was supposed to be my escort tonight. It's just that he didn't arrive earlier, we all thought he was just late so Daddy became my back up escort first and we agreed that when it's time for my eighteen roses he will be my escort.

However, he will never make it tonight and this breaks my heart. And the worst part, it's their child's birthday too. It's like I just want to be a bubble to disappear so I won't feel the inexplicable pain I'm feeling now.

I have nothing else to say other than, I hate this day so much!

End of Flashback

I stared at the picture in my Facebook memories, I couldn't help but touch the screen of my phone. This is when I took a selfie wearing the diamond choker and earrings given by Mommy and Daddy. However, it's because I am also wearing another jewelry, on my index finger. That's exactly what Macy noticed. I got another ring on that night of my birthday it's a gold diamond ring. And in your first glance, it looks like I am wearing two rings.

Macy even told me when she saw it before it looked like an engagement ring. Of course I told him no! Here's the ring looks like, in the lower part it looks like a separate ring where the ring got some small diamonds around it and in the upper part, there is a big diamond in the middle then both sides are pure small diamonds like the lower part.

Actually, I just took a selfie and posted that picture on my Facebook account that day because I wanted someone or something to remind me that even if Kenzo didn't come to my party, there was still something good that happened before the end of that night. I got that diamond ring, from Kenzo.

I heard knocking from outside my room one after the other, so I dropped my phone and then I paid attention to the person who kept knocking from outside.

When I open the door it's Kia. We looked eye to eye and he was obviously shocked when he saw me. Why can't he believe that I'm really here? Didn't Clara tell him?

"What's up?" I asked him more because he didn't seem to be able to get over seeing me. He blinked one after the other and I thought he couldn't really say what he was going to say -

"I'm busy Kia. If you don't have anything to say, you can leave now." And I was about to close the door when she blocked half of her body at my door's entrance. I raised one of my eyebrows at her.

"Uhm, Mi-Miss Selena... because the party is about to start, you are being called downstairs." He hesitantly told me.

"I will follow ... please tell them." I answered him coldly. She nods twice and then she opens her mouth I guess to say something else, just in case I'm not interested in talking to her anymore that's why I turned my back on her.

I also can't close the door because she's blocking the entrance. I went straight to my bathroom and then I took off my clothes one by one and went straight to my bathtub.
