C2 Marriage offer.

Ian's POV.

"Your Majesty, I brought what you asked for." My personal guard said.

"Thanks Tal, just drop it there I'll come out soon." I adjusted my trousers and vast and came out.

I didn't bring my training outfit, but I was sure Tal kept it for me.

Tal already arranged everything I asked for, I stared at the warriors he brought, scratching my head, I clicked my tongue, it was going to be a long work, but I loved training the warriors, it meant me training too with them, I produced fine warriors out of the weakest or slowest men, it wasn't going to be hard at all.

They had their back turned and didn't notice me walk in, I slowly stared at how built they were because that was one of the most important thing of being a warrior, your built, your stamina, and also gracefulness.

I clenched my jaw when I remembered my father's training, he prided on being graceful and I became so graceful, I could even slip unnoticed and fly in any place or direction and kill people.

Some people gave me many names, even I gave myself names too, I also thought I wasn't normal, even my father did at some point when I surpassed his expectations and became so powerful he got scared of me at some point.

One thing I did that made people scared of me, I was a different person when I was angry, I could do literally anything, that's why no one in my kingdom made me angry.

I tapped my foot on the floor after assessing them and they all turned to me, they fell on their feet bowing immediately, I waved them off and they all stood up.

You are going to introduce yourself and your families, and also tell me where you come from, if you're not a Vremin.

They all introduced themselves, and they were 150 in number, I cut 50 off during the introduction, I observed their stance and everything I needed in a warrior I'll command and train, I didn't care about numbers, I cared about performance, at the end of my screening I was left with 40 men.

"Tal, let's show them how to fly." I smiled at him, he wasn't just my warrior or personal guard, he was my best friend, we grew up together, trained together and did everything together, his father was my father's closest friend, and was still much alive today, unlike my father, he became a father to me eventually, he was one of the best advisor I had in my council.

Tal came out smirking but he turned his poker face to them and they stilled, I realized I've been smiling all along, I was always happy when it came to training.

We started sparing immediately, he attacked and I swiftly swerved, I did the same and he swerved too, the warriors cheered and clapped as we went on and on, he knew how to match my energy, and he was my assistant when we went for wars, or he went in my place When I had pressing issues to handle.

We blocked, attacked and hit eachother for about 20 minutes, the warriors clapped.

Tal left and went out immediately, I smiled and wondered what he rushed to get.

"I just wanted to show you a little about what'll happen, there'll be more training, but that's it for today.", They all saluted and bowed to me according to our culture, I waved them off and they left, some lingered and kept training.

"Your Majesty, the council is awaiting your presence for the meeting." Tal bowed.

"Okay, run me a bath, I need to freshen up first." He left quickly.

I sighed as I entered the bathtub, this is the place my mind became calm around, the place, I didn't really get agitated with.

I went into the meeting room and stared at my council's face, I stilled when I saw my mother, I suddenly had a bitter taste to my mouth.

They all bowed as the announcer called me out.

I walked up to my seat and clenched my fist, seeing my mother around made me angry, and I was sure going to make her angry as well.

"You can start the meeting." I said.

"Why start a meeting when all the women have not arrived." I smiled at the question, it was the voice of my favourite queen, Vania my childhood friend, she bowed at me and the other queens I married came in, and they all took their seats.

I searched for my aunt and smiled when I saw her, I heaved a sigh of relief, I wasn't going to be angry again, my sister and her husband, and my cousin came in, Tal came in at last and bowed.

My council was always filled with royals and my other advisors and elders, it also included women, one thing I believed in was everyone had a say, I didn't discriminate women like my father did.

"We can begin." I said.

The priest prayed and the meeting started, I was waiting for the agenda I wanted to listen to the most to come up.

"Your Majesty, message from the Koutish King." I smiled, and my mother glared at me, this was going to be fun.

"Read it out." I waved at him. The messenger opened the Letter.

"Greetings Emperor, king of kings, I got an information about your plan to destroy my kingdom next and I don't know how to feel but very apprehensive, my whole Kingdom and council is in turmoil and is restless due to this information." The messenger paused and I urge him to keep reading.

"We know we don't have the power or capability to fight you if you intend to continue what you planned, but we'll like to plead for your mercy, we have never had any truffle with the Vremins or any Vremenian, we always welcome them in our Kingdom." The messenger paused when I laughed, I gave him a sign to continue.

"We plead your mercy and ask for anything you want in return for scratching our Kingdom out of your list of kingdoms to destroy or conquer, we could be allies, like you've allied with other kingdoms, we will give you anything you want in our Kingdom, in exchange for peace."

"The King of Koutish." The messenger closed the letter, Tal collected it from him and I laughed.

"What perhaps do they have, and why will we want it." Queen Vania asked and some people in the council laughed.

"It looks like they want to avoid the war with us." Councillor Juen said.

"Well, I won't avoid this war, if I don't benefit from it." I shrugged.

"Do they have any raw materials I should need." I asked around and some nodded, some people didn't.

"Well , they are the second richest kingdom after us, they were the richest when our Kingdom wasn't, but we beat them in that, so they can't offer riches." Councillor Raman said.

"They certainly can't offer warriors." My aunt said and we all laughed.

"I think someone will have an idea of what they can offer," I turned to my mother, everyone did, we all knew she forfeited our Kingdom when we were struggling during the attack and father's death to run to Koutish, she stayed there for a long time before coming back, she even adopted the ways of the Koutishs.

"I don't know anything Your majesty." She bowed and sat straight.

"I think the only priceless price the Koutish can offer is their most treasured person." Councillor Juen said.

"And I will like to know what that is?" I asked.

"You don't have to say anything Councillor Juen." My mother glared at him.

"So you know this too, and you didn't say a word," I said venomously "always protecting them till the end, why do you think I want to wage war with them in the first place." I smirked at her.

She knew I hated them because she abandoned me when I needed a mother's love the most to stay over there and become a nursing mother to to other children, I disliked them because of that.

"It's their princess." Councillor Juen said.

"Their princess?" I asked with a frown.

" How can she be the most priceless possession they have and won't let go?" Queen Daria asked softly.

"Well she is very important and the most loved person in Koutish," Councillor Juen said "she's more important to them than their crown prince." He added.

"Really?" I asked incredulously, I knew the Koutish didn't respect women, many kingdom didn't, my kingdom didn't, but they tolerated them because of me.

"Yes, your majesty." Councillor Raman said.

"I once heard they offered everything they had, even their throne for her return When she was kidnapped, though she killed her abductor at the end." He added.

The whole room started whispering to each other.

"If he can offer everything for her, she must be dear to him." I smiled.

"Not just to him, to the Koutish, she has a fan club, filled with people who likes her in the Kingdom, she gets away with anything." He continued

"She's the only woman included in the council meetings over there, and the only format trained warrior, who trains with her twin who is the most powerful warrior there." Tal said and I turned to him raising my brow in question and he nodded confirming this.

"Hmm, now what should I do with her?" I asked loudly.

"Offer for her hand in marriage your majesty.", Councillor Raman said and the room was filled with arguments and agreement to what he said. I sometimes marry women their kingdom offered so I ally with them and not wage war, some of my queens were from other kingdoms.

"I think that'll be preferable." Tal said.

"Okay it's settled, send a message to them asking for their princess hands in marriage." I told the messenger and ended the meeting, I left the room with Tal.
