C4 Spying

Ian's POV.

"He's such a coward." The word ringed in my ear, I marched to meet her, but Tal stopped me shaking his head.

I was the one who killed the diplomat, mainly because he was abusing a lady when I came to the outskirts of the Koutish to spy and also get the message immediately from my messenger, but I used him to send a message to them, I was thinking of who to kill and the diplomat was the best choice.

I stared at her and I was still shocked of how beautiful she was, she was the most beautiful woman I laid my eyes on, her name was befitting because of her eyes, she had bright sapphire eyes, and a pointed nose meant for her small face, her lips were also pouty, her face was heart shaped, with a sharp jawline, she had wave curly deep brown hair which was long to her back but cut in a way you could see the wavy curls in shorter form in front, some laid on her cheeks.

I saw her twin who dragged her from punching the tree, he wrapped his clothes around her hands and was also visibly shaking with anger.

"You shouldn't hurt yourself Sapphire." He said and she looked around, I ducked and Tal did immediately.

We sat that at the sloppy edge and watched them. She was beautiful yes, but it didn't stop me from being angry at her words earlier, I was many things but a coward and she called me that.

"Stop." Tal gribbed my hands shaking his head, I realised I was punching the ground and that'll blow our cover.

"What should I do Alec?" She paused running her hands in her hair, I wanted to do that too, I stilled immediately chastising myself, I knew I hated her, I hated every Koutish, I didn't understand my attraction for her and why I wanted to do all those things while being mad at her.

"I don't know and I hate myself right now for it." He raised his hand up.

"I can't even comfort you properly right now because I hate that bastard as well," he spat and I stilled, I was shocked to know that Koutishs disliked the Vremins but always welcomed us, like they did other kingdoms, it must have been a front they had to be called the most peaceful kingdom, I knew my empire and kingdom was hated because of what I turned it to and how powerful we became, but it surprised me to know, the Koutishs pretended all along.

I thought of my mother who smiled at me and told me to wait and left me, she must have learned the pretence before going there and she mastered it when she came back.

"And you're getting married to him." He punched the tree and it shook.

She took his hands and shook her head slightly, he turned and I could see him clearly, he was pretty handsome, but he had an air of authority around him, she also did as I watched her bit her lower lip, I stilled, I wanted to go kiss her lips right there, I think I almost stood up, because Tal stared at me weirdly and shook his head with a low laugh, I glared at him and he only scratched his head still smiling.

"I just have a feeling." She said turning around.

"What feeling?" Alec asked.

"That we're being watched," Tal and I stilled immediately, "maybe I'm being paranoid as well as angry." She shrugged and I relaxed.

"Well looks like my life is over, I have to marry someone I hate." She clicked her tongue.

"You can still do many things, even while married." He managed a smile at her.

"Like?" She asked incredulously.

"Oh well, I heard women get chances over there than here." He said.

"You suck at comforting yunno." She laughed.

"I'm not sure I do," he pointed at her "see you're laughing.", He said and she smiled widely.

She was so beautiful, really beautiful, but I still hated her and liked her at the same time, I ran my hands on my hair, I was really going crazy by being attracted to her right now.

"My princess." Tal and I turned at the sound, I sawa burnette with brown eyes rush closer to them breathing hard, she held a tree for support, but Sapphire pulled her closer hugging her.

"Nana." Sapphire said.

"Do you know how worried I was, I thought you Hurt yourself." She said loudly.

"I'm fine Nana." Sapphire smiled at her.

"Don't make me laugh." She said then bowed immediately she turned to the prince.

"My Prince." She bowed Slightly.

"I thought we talked about the formalities Nana." He raised a brow at her.

"Well, I should get prepared for my marriage, I'll make sure I don't suffer alone, he's going to regret getting married to me." She said and I smiled. She was really fiesty and I was Also going to show her how I felt about every Koutish, damn my attraction.

They left and Nana turned and looked around, I felt Tal still but he wasn't scared he was staring hard at Nana, I smiled knowing I wasn't the only one having a crazy attraction here.

I gave him a knowing look and he stood up aubruptly, and I laughed he just glared at me.

We walked out of Koutish and I met my messenger there.

"Let's go." I got on my horse and they did too, we left for Vremin.

"Well, I'll also make you regret this marriage for sure, glad to know the feeling is mutual." I said in my mind.

"We have a marriage to prepare for." I said to my planner when I got inside my empire.
