Aaron stepped on the gas pedal so that the red sports car accelerated faster through the deserted road. Tonight, no star decoration lights up the sky. Like feeling the emptiness of Aaron's heart right now.

Aaron took off his seat belt then immediately got out of the car. His eyes could not be separated from someone he had hurt and the girl who had been crying while trying to wake up the man's consciousness.

"You have to take responsibility you've made that person hurt," said Derry, who saw the crash.

Aaron shook his head lightly. Her sense of disbelief that she had bumped the man. Her anger at Derry had been replaced by fear and guilt.

Aaron's body seemed to freeze and his legs seemed heavy to take a step with. His mind was blank, too shocked to face this.

"Daddy, wake up! I beg you not to be like this, Daddy!"

Aaron stood leaning against the predominantly white wall of the hospital. His gaze could not be separated from the girl named Shena who had walked back and forth in front of the ER while crying and praying for her father. Meanwhile, Derry took care of the administration in the front row.

"Oh my God, congrats Daddy. Give recovery for him," said Shena hopefully.

Aaron's feet seemed heavy to step up to Shena just to calm her down. However, his existence, who was the culprit of the accident, made Aaron helpless, and felt he did not deserve to win over the girl's sadness.

The ER room glass doors opened to reveal a male doctor who was treating Shena's father.

Immediately Shena stepped closer to Doctor Ridwan followed by Aaron.

"Doctor, what about my daddy's condition?" Shena asked as soon as she could.

Doctor Ridwan shook his head slowly. "I'm sorry about your Daddy's passing."

The atmosphere was so tense. Shena's legs felt weak as if they couldn't hold her body. Shena closed her eyes, feeling the turmoil of the wound as if her heart had been hit with a sharp object.

"Daddy ...," she whispered.

Aaron immediately held Shena's body which was about to fall.

However, Aaron received an immediate refusal, even he felt a beating from the girl.

"Murderer! You have killed my daddy! You are evil!" shouted Shena, charging at Aaron with multiple punches.

Aaron can only be silent to receive blow after blow from Shena. It didn't matter how much pain he felt, because the pain was incomparable to what Shena was feeling right now.

Then, Aaron grabbed Shena by the waist and brought her into a hug. The girl balked, but Aaron kept this position until Shena calmed down a little.
