C3 Problem

Aaron stopped the car right in the carport of a house where he had lived for thirty years. Followed by Derry from behind.

Aaron exhaled heavily before finally getting out of the car. Seeing Aaron who was about to step into the house, Derry immediately ran over to him.

"Wait for me!"

As if he didn't hear Derry's call, he, who still had anger at Derry, chose to ignore it. His mind was currently in complete chaos.

"Please listen to my explanation first. The problem that happened between me and Angela please don't tell Daddy and Mommy and I'll keep the accident a secret instead."

Aaron stopped his steps. Turning around to glare at Derry. "I'm not a coward like you. I will be responsible for what I have done, even though it was not my wish. Even if I have to be in prison. I will accept it," he said, replying to Derry.

"But you can't ---,"

"What responsibility?" An old man suddenly appeared which shocked the brothers. Thony - their father looked one by one the two sons.

Heartbreaking tears. Shena's hand shook as she was about to put down the white cloth covering her father's face. Her heart seemed to stop beating, seeing the face he was so fond of. There is no more life in that body.

"Dad! Why are you leaving? Get up, Dad! Wake up! Don't leave me, please."

Shena hugged her father's body with tears that didn't stop flowing. She was sure this was just a nightmare, then when she woke up from her sleep everything would be fine. Shena is sure of that.

"Lord, wake me now from this nightmare, Lord!" Shena slapped her face trying to make her realize that this was just a dream.

From the doorway of the room, stood a blind girl who was accompanied by a hospital nurse.

"Thank you."

"Yes, you're welcome. Excuse me."

Getting sad news about the death of her father, of course, makes Amanda sad and unexpected.

"Shena," she softly called out. Makes Shena turned around and immediately approached her younger sister.

"Daddy's dead," squeaked Shena hugging Amanda's trembling body.

"Dad...."

Shena takes off the hug. Wiped the trail of tears on Amanda's cheeks. Then lead her to approach their lifeless father.

Amanda reached out to touch his dad's arm.

"Dad, don't leave me and Shena. You wake up, please," she says softly with hopes that come true.

Shena hugged Amanda's body from the side. And now, the room was filled with tears by the two girls who had lost the figure of a father.

Now, Amanda is eighteen years old. Exactly one year ago, she lost her sight after being hit by firecrackers hitting her eyes. Inadequate economic conditions made her tolerant of accepting her destiny sincerely.

The atmosphere in a large room was terrifying. Zoya sits beside her husband who is now staring at Aaron and Derry alternately.

"Now I ask you, what responsibilities were you talking about earlier?" Thony asked with a serious face.

Anxiety was visible on Derry's face. Even the young man occasionally glanced at Aaron, who was staring flat ahead.

"Marriage must go on!"

A middle-aged woman in glamorous clothes suddenly appeared in the middle of Ricardo's family conversation. And that of course made the four people there stand, staring in surprise at the woman.

"Melin?" Zoya frowned in confusion at the arrival of Angela's mother.

Ignoring Zoya's astonished gaze, Melin dropped a sharp glance at Aaron and Derry.

"Please, if you come to the house of people pay attention to the good manners. It is already evening and you come to our house in this disrespectful manner." Thony voiced a flat, cold face.

Melin smiled crookedly folded her arms in front of her chest. "You don't need to teach me about manners. Please teach first, your son who has been presumptuous to cancel the marriage to my daughter Angela," she said pointing to Aaron who was still acting normal.

Zoya frowned. Staring at her first son. "Canceling the wedding? Aaron, what does this mean?"

Aaron threw a flat glare at Melin who was staring at him even more.

"Aaron must have had logical reasons that forced him to make that decision," said Thony before Aaron opened his voice.

Melin smiled mockingly. Angela said that Aaron had canceled their marriage all of a sudden. However, Angela doesn't say what happened until Aaron cancels the sweet dream they had longed for. It wasn't the intention of making Aaron ugly in the eyes of the family, but because she couldn't tell the truth.

"Aaron, please tell me what happened why did your and Angela's marriage have to be canceled?” Zoya asked, looking sadly at Aaron.

Aaron's tail of the eye glanced at Derry, who was currently looking anxious and frightened.

"Come on say!" snapped Melin.

Derry lowered his head. If Aaron told the truth that it was himself who had snatched Angela's chastity with the help of stimulants, it could be that all of his facilities would be withdrawn by Thony, and the worst possibility, he would be kicked out of the house. In heart, Derry cursed his stupidity because it had dark eyes doing unnatural things just because of love.

"There is another woman in my heart."

Melin's hand landed right next to Aaron's cheek. It made everyone in the room gasp in shock.

"Dammit! You listen, his confession?! Uneducated! How could he heartlessly hurt Angela?!" exclaimed Melin accompanied by a wave of burning anger.

Zoya covers her mouth with one palm. Can't believe what Aaron said. Aaron is not that kind of guy.

Derry himself was surprised to hear Aaron's lies to protect him from the problems he had created himself. Meanwhile, Thony was still silent with a flat face.

"I can not continue the marriage when there is another woman in my heart," Aaron said without expression. His hands clenched tightly, as the image of Angela and Derry's sexual love flashed through his memories.

Melin shook her head several times. Her heart was very sore to hear the narrative directly from Aaron's mouth. After all, what parent's heart doesn't hurt when she sees her child hurt by another man?

Melin lifted her chin, then took a deep breath. "Fine, if this is Aaron's real reason indeed the marriage should not be continued. I don't want to, Angela continues to be hurt after marrying this bastard!" Melin scolded, before she finally turned around, walking away without asking.

Zoya held Thony's hand, as the man was about to step closer to Aaron. There were angry streaks on the man's face. The veins on his neck seemed to be hard.

"Let me go."

Zoya shook her head. "I want it. I don't want you to hurt Aaron."

Thony glanced at his wife then forcefully removed Zoya's grip on her hand. Then stepped closer to Aaron who looked at him flatly.

Bugh!

Aaron's body almost fell when Thony's fist hit his cheek.

Zoya shut her mouth, could not bear to see her son hurt by his father. Likewise with Derry, the young man winced not having the heart to see Aaron. However, if Aaron didn't do the lie, then he would be the one who got hit by Thony.

"I never taught you to be independent of girls, Aaron!"

"Sorry, Dad."

"Are with you sorry you can heal Angela's hurt, huh?"

Zoya immediately approached Thony, rubbing her husband's shoulder trying to calm his emotions.

"Stop it, please. Don't hurt your son," Zoya said with sobs.

Thony closed her eyes. The man could at least hear the cries that came out of his wife's mouth.

"If you keep hurting Aaron, then you have hurt my heart too." Zoya stares sadly at Thony's eyes with tears that never stop flowing.

"Now we go to the room okay?"

Thony glanced at Aaron, before finally being taken away by Zoya.

"I'm sorry," said Derry quietly.

Aaron rubbed his cheek with one hand. "This is what you want?"

Derry looked down. "I didn't know it would turn out like this."

Ignoring Derry, Aaron's steps swung toward his room upstairs.

"Argh! Stupid! Stupid! Why can I be this stupid ?!" said Derry, clutching his short hair.
